He let out a sigh, anticipating it but like me, he probably still felt hurt. He settled himself in the crook of my neck.
"Because of it, Pollux, being an immortal was in agony. He didn't want to let go of his brother so he begged Zeus to share his immortality with his twin, Castor."
It was an act of true love, indeed. To share your immortality with your loved ones.
"Zeus pitied his son, allowed it and they came out with an arrangement. Magpapalit sila ni Castor, minsan si Castor nasa underworld pero may times na nasa Olympus and vice versa. Then... look at it."
I pointed to the stars. He looked at it.
"Myth says that Zeus placed the brothers together in the heavens as part of the constellation Gemini, the twins," I told him. "So they will never be apart anymore."
"Today the brightest stars in the constellation Gemini are named Castor and Pollux," he finished as our gazes clashed. We both smiled and quietly watched the dark skies and the glinting stars looking at us from above.
