"Excuse me?" Best Jeanest raised his eyebrows. He turned to Naomosa. "Who's this?" He asked. He wasn't being rude or anything really, just mildly irritated at the interruption.
"THANK YOU!!" The woman yelled to Kira, wiping her tears.
"This is Kira Kokoa, my intern." The detective said nervously. "Uh, Kira. What are you doing?" He asked her to the side.
"Your sister, she was left-handed. Wasn't she?" Kira asked, stepping towards the body. She wanted a better look at that smudge on her hand. If she was right it was charcoal or pencil dust.
"Yes I think she was... How did you know that?" The woman asked in confusion. Everyone was confused. "Maybe she's a psychic! I would kill for a psychic right now."
"Her left hand has a grey smudge. And all of her drawings have similar smudges on the left side of the page." Kira said. "It's from using her left hand while drawing. I'm ambidextrous, it happens all the time."
"I'm sorry uh... Why is that relevant?" The sidekick asked in confusion.
"Why would a left handed woman shoot herself in the right side of the head with her right hand?" Kira asked. "Plus she's wearing makeup, I wouldn't worry about that if I was so depressed I was planning on killing Myself." She added and glanced around.
"Is there anything else Kira?" The detective asked. Looking around himself.
"You might be onto something."
"She's pregnant." Kira showed them the test she found under the couch. It was clearly positive. "This was under the couch. I think it's at least three days old."
Naomosa pulled out a plastic bag and Kira dropped it in.
"She was happy about it too, started drawing a picture of a baby two days ago."
Kira gestured to the picture.
"Oh my God." The sister whispered, putting a hand to her chest. "She didn't tell me."
"Was she seeing someone?" Kira asked.
"No! Not that I know of at least." The sister said, covering her mouth and crying again.
"Why the hell would she leave it on the ground?" Bakugou asked. Scrunching up his nose. "If she kept it for days why would she put it there?"
"She didn't." Kira said with a frown. "I think she showed it to someone."
"And they ended up in an altercation..."
The detective finished.
"The pregnancy test was dropped and she ended up being killed." Best Jeanest continued.
"I don't think they started fighting..." Kora mumbled. "I think they were about to do the dirty." She gestured to the woman. "Her makeup is done perfectly, but her shirt is a mess. Someone put it on her in a rush, after she died. There would be more blood on it if she was wearing it when shot."
"Alright no one touch anything. This is now a homicide investigation. We need to check for finger prints and other forms of evidence. I'll call in a team." Naomosa said.
"Nice work Kira."
"I totally missed all of that."
"No problem, just trying to help." She said, shoving her hands in her pockets.
"You've done more than help!" The woman ran over and threw her arms around Kira. "Thank you, thank you so much!" Kira stood there awkwardly for a second and then nervously patted the womans back.
"You're... You're welcome." She said nervously. Waiting for the woman to pull away. She didn't for a long while, but then she was walked off by the sidekick who was trying his best to comfort her.
"That was very good work." Jeanest said.
"Should have taken her instead of Bakugou. Though he needs my help more than she does."
"Thank you sir." Kira bowed.
"What's your quirk?" Jeanest asked. "It sure came in handy today."
"No quirk, just my brain." She shrugged. "I notice things sometimes, besides it just felt... wrong."
"Well you just got us one step closer to catching a killer we didn't even know existed." Jeanest said, bowing to her.
"Thank you."

"Now we're going to take a few hours to focus on you." The detective said to Kira, she was outside in some sort of police training facility. Naomosa had handed the case of the murdered woman off to a trusted detective. He and too much on his plate currently to take on another case.
"Nice." Kira said crossing her arms with a smile.
"While your quirk gives you a great advantage and so does your mind you're lacking when it comes to hand to hand combat training and experience." He continued. "And physical strength."
"Yeah yeah yeah." She waved her hand. "I've been working on that."
"That's good and I'm going to help you with that."
"I'm not going to enjoy this am I?" She asked with a frown.
"That depends, are you an optimist? Or a pessimist?" He asked, she raised an eyebrow.
"I'm a realist."

"Almost everyone you'll come across with think while fighting. A second before kicking they're going to consider the pros and cons. They'll search for your openings and blindspots." Naomosa said, Kira stood in front of a dummy.
"You have the ability to hear their next move but you'll only have half a second to react accordingly."
He patted the dummy on the shoulder. "Even that's useless, if you don't know how to throw a punch."

"I want the dummy back." Kira groaned, hand on her hit cheek. She got off the ground. It was the second day of this combat training hell.
She was facing off against none other than her own teacher. Mr Aizawa, who didn't hesitate before hitting her.
Sure it wasn't hard, he was probably only using a fraction of his strength. But still.
Ouch.
"We can stop anytime you want kid." He said, adjusting his boxing gloves. "But that won't get you very far."
"Yeah yeah, practice makes perfect." She said, standing back up. "Avoid and evade Kira. That's all, dodge and hit. Then run and do it again."
That wasn't exactly the advice Kira was given, but it was her current strategy.
"I'm good, let me try again."
She changed her position and tightened her fists in her gloves.
"Stance if off, unbalanced. A kick to your left leg and you'll topple over." Aizawa thought, while he used the language "you" and "your" while thinking it wasn't always purposeful. He was just used to speaking his thoughts to her.
Kira adjusted her stance and put her arms up. He stepped forward. His eyes her focused and experienced.
'This is gonna hurt.'

"This is the coolest thing we've done all week!" Kira said with a wild smile, cocking the hand gun.
"Don't make me regret this." Naomosa sighed, putting on his headphones and safety glasses. "Is arming a fifteen year old a good idea?"
"Sure it is." She said, taking aim at the target. She steadied her stance and narrowed her eyes. Looking at the small red dot about twenty paces away from where they were standing.
She fired.
Kira didn't have to look to know she had missed it, just by a hair. "Damn it." She whispered.
"You're doing good considering this is the first time you've held a gun." Naomosa said comfortingly. "This is the first time you've held a gun... Right?!"
"Of course it is." She rolled her eyes and moved the fire arm to the right. Just a tiny bit before firing again, twice.
"I think you got that one." Naomosa squinted.
"It's not centered." Kira blew a hair out of her face.
"The guy is still dead though." He pointed out. She shrugged and ignored him.
"Do I get to take one of these home?" She asked with a smirk that clearly said she already knew the answer.
"Absolutely not."
She took aim again and sighed. "Midoriya can knock over cinder block walls with a flick of his fingers."
Bang. She took a shot.
"Bakugou can explode entire buildings."
Bang.
"Todoroki can freeze anyone to death and then set them on fire."
Bang.
"But I can't carry a simple handgun?"
Bang, bullseye. All of them were almost perfect shots. "Doesn't seem fair to me."
"They were born that way." The detective shrugged. "Plus we have laws just as strict over quirks. They can't just use them however they please."
"No one cares about those laws. Believe me, I've come across thousands of people who have violated millions of quirk restriction laws." Kira sighed and put the gun down.
"I'll just get a Tazer instead."
