Kira didn't know if she should be happy or not. Her uncle did show up and he seemed very happy to sit with Kira, chatting up other adults like a normal guardian.
Kira still didn't feel right though. But she knew the only way she could feel truly right was if she had her father on her right side, and her mother on her left. Talking to the other adults and introducing themselves to her classmates.
But obviously that was just a dream. Impossible to actually happen in reality.
Instead her uncle was sitting to her left, and Bakugou was on her right. All Might spoke happily with Ms Midoriya Inko.
Kira ate her breakfast, they were currently in their dorm common area. But they set up more tables and chairs to accommodate the amount of People there.
And boy were there a lot of people there.
She looked around the room. Tsu was hugging her younger brother, surrounded by the rest of her froggy family.
Koda's mom fussed over him in the corner as he stood stiffly. Waiting for her to finish.
Mina happily chatted with her dads, kicking her feet as she told them all about the dorms and school. Catching up on all of the gossip.
The Todoroki's sat together in silence. Endeavor himself was there, missing his usual fire. But there was also a young woman with white and red hair. Shoto's sister, Fuyumi.
Across the table from Kira was the Uraraka's. Ochaco's parents were relatively plain. Her mom was where she got her brown hair, her dad was tall and kind-looking. With Light brown hair that was almost blonde and tan skin.
Apparently they were missing her brother. An older boy who was busy at work and wouldn't be there until later. Kira remembered that their family wasn't super well off, that was her whole motivation for being a hero.
To be able to support them, like her brother was doing now.
Kira hadn't introduced herself to much of anyone yet. But she didn't feel the need. Kirishima happily sat on the couches not too far away, his mother was a tall woman with black hair. His father was stocky, with thick muscles and hair that was also spiked up. He was about four inches shorter than his wife and his son, but that didn't seem to bother him at all.
The noise was killing Kira, even with her headphones and her blazer jacket. Kids were running around, Tsu's siblings seemed to have immediately started to get along with Denki's little sister Zuzu, despite her only being four. Adults were talking about whatever it was they talked about. While thinking.
A lot.
"Aw I'm so proud of my son! I can't believe my little Denki made it this far..."
"I wonder if she likes anyone? Boys? Girls?"
"This place does seem safe... And they have all might and Eraserhead here... But is this really safe? Is my baby really going to be okay?"
"I wasn't that curious until now... I mean really, what could her quirk be? Eraserhead seemed to say without saying he wasn't going to tell us anything. Then he gave Tenya a look, now he won't tell me either. Maybe we'll see her use it during training..."
"Oh I didn't realize All Might had a child here! That makes me feel so much better about all this. If this place really wasn't safe he wouldn't trust it for his own family right?"
"Would it be weird to ask All Might for an autograph?"
"It's so weird... I mean I know it's him but... He looks so different, it's kinda sad."
"All Might... Endeavor.... Ingenium... Who knew so many famous pros had kids here."
Thoughts seemed to constantly bounce towards All Might. And by association, Kira. Which she didn't really appreciate.
"Is that Bakugou's mom?!??? Hot."
"Her parents are so scary..."
"So many people... You're an adult! You can do this! It's for your son!"
"Woah. She's tall."
"Goodness, Endeavor is a hunk!"
After a few hours plates were cleared and everyone was still chatting. Soon Aizawa in the corner of the room checked his watch and stood up from where he was leaning against the wall. "ALRIGHT!" He yelled the first word to get everyone's attention.
Kira turned to look over and so did everyone else. Even the kids playing on the floor quieted down. Tsu's sister put a hand over Zuzu's babbling mouth as the teacher started talking.
"In ten minutes we're gonna move out and begin today's training exercise. Students will be wearing their hero costumes and will be called by their submitted code names." Aizawa said, mostly to his students. "Me and Toshinori will be driving the families to the site Via school buses. And as usual the hero course students will run there on foot."
Kira groaned and Bakugou snickered at her.
"So if you're done you have ten minutes to change." Aizawa stated. No one moved. "GO!"
The students suddenly scrambled to get up. Realizing that was an order. Each student quickly said their goodbyes and ran to the changing rooms their hero costumes were stored in.
"Bye!" Kira said, with a mouth full of food as Bakugou dragged her out of her chair.

"Oh my God I'm so nervous!" Uraraka said, slapping her cheeks. "This feels like the sports festival."
"I know right. Training in front of my Parents?" Jirou shook her head. "That adds a whole new type of pressure to this." She adjusted her shirt before pulling on her jacket. All the girls were chatting while getting dressed in the locker rooms.
"Ugh, you guys are making me nervous!" Hagakure whined, hitting Uraraka.
Uraraka giggled. "Sorry Toru."
"I bet you're not nervous Kira." Hagakure said. "You train in front of your uncle all the time!"
Kira thought about it for a second. "Yeah I guess. But I still don't like the idea of all these people around."
"I didn't even think of that. How's your quirk doing? You know, with everyone here?" Yayorozu asked.
"It's not great, but I'm used to being around crowds of people." Kira shrugged. "It's just awkward because I've met some of the parents out there."
"Really? Like who?"
"Endeavor for starters, We don't get along very well. I've also met the Iidas." Kira explained with a frown. "I'm just not good with people apparently."
Mina laughed. "Sure you are."
"I just want this day to be over with." Kira mumbled, she pulled up a mask. Which was one of the few adjustments she made to her costume. She also changed her pants out for cargo shorts, she had been getting a little too overheated the past few times she trained in the thick material. She was also testing Dr Peppy's theory that clothes and other things could weaken or strengthen the effects of her quirk.
So she took away the pants and added a mask. It was mainly for aesthetics, but she also just liked the sort of comforting feeling it gave her.
She pulled on her headphones and connected them to her mp3 player. So she could listen without her phone while in combat.
Some would think it was unwise to listen to music during a literal fight. But Kira's quirk ensured she'd hear someone coming. Even with the music. It simply served as a way to keep her focused. Her mind could follow the steady rhythm of music instead of the unpredictable thoughts of this around her.
It worked for tests, why not combat?

The students got to the viewing room a few minutes after their parents. The teens had ran all the way there without quirks in their hero costumes. As usual.
Kira smiled and grabbed a water bottle. Taking a few sips from it and entering the room with everyone else. Now was the moment everyone was either looking forward to or dreading.
Kira didn't know which one she was yet. On one hand she was finally doing better at training. Thanks to Aizawas tips for hand to hand combat and her strength being built up more than it had been. She really was keeping up with the class.
But on the other hand there were people here. Kira didn't like people.
When she walked in there were clumps of adults all around the room. Interacting with each other and introducing themselves.
A lot of them were around Kira's uncle. Jirou's dad and Kirishima's parents. Along with several others Kira had yet to identify. Even several children.
Kira stood by the door, not really willing to force her way through that crowd right now. Especially not with training coming.
She focused on Aizawa's mind, listening to all the details of this training exercise. It would be two on two, randomly assigned of course. His favorite thing to do, so that Kira didn't have too much time to plan for it.
Kira was suddenly very distracted by a tall man in the corner, not that far from her. She hadn't really noticed him at first but now that she did she did not want to look away.
Dude was awesome.
He was pretty damn tall with pale skin and long black hair. He had high cheek bones and eye's that were between red and orange in color.
But what peeked Kira's interest was the rest of his appearance. He had powered make-up lighter than his skin tone and absolutely epic gothic makeup. Including eyeliner and black lipstick. He even had this long vintage looking coat and a vest underneath.
It took Kira a few moments to even realize who he was related to. Then when she saw his wife everything made perfect sense.
His wife was shorter woman with a dress and cardigan. She was slightly plump from age and giggled to her husband about something. The man looked at her like she was the most precious thing in the world to him. Their individual aesthetics clashed so perfectly. Kira wanted to know their story.
Oh yeah, and the woman had the head of a pigeon.
Grey feathers and a small black beak that weirdly contained human teeth. She had big eyes that looked human in the bird-like face.
If Kira had known Tokoyomi had a cute pigeon mom and a goth daddy she would have asked to become his adopted sister. Because she fucking loved this family.
And she had only just glanced over at them.
"What the hell are you staring at?" Katsuki asked, leaning over her shoulder with a frown.
"Tokoyomi's parents are awesome and I want them to adopt me." Kira whispered back. Right as the crow-like boy walked over to them. Dressed in his hero costume.
His mom looked at him with tears in her eyes and hugged her son, cooing about how proud she was. His father picked up the edge of his son's cloak and admired the handiwork and practicality of it.
"You're so weird." Bakugou mumbled, walking away.
"Hey! It's not weird-"
She walked after him right as Endeavor started walking forward. He cut off her path completely and she had to stop dead in her tracks to keep from running into him.
Fuyumi was right behind him, looking around at everyone politely. Though she did keep on glancing over at Tensei, more often than anyone else.
"Yoo Endeavor." Kira said with a lazy smile. They hadn't talked since he doubted her abilities to find Bakugou. "How's it going? It's been awhile."
The man just stared at her. Not saying anything, almost like he didn't remember her.
He totally did, she could hear his thoughts. He was just acting like he didn't as an intimidation tactic. Trying to make her feel awkward and shit. "It's that brat form the mission. She doesn't even know how to properly address adults. No regard for those of status."
"Guess your Pop here is kinda slow." Kira whispered to Fuyumi after a few moments of silence. Then she bowed slightly to the older woman. "I'm Kira Kokoa, I'm assuming you're Shoto Todoroki's sister?"
The gesture of respect for his daughter and not him was a purposeful slap in the face to endeavor. Kira gave more respect to a young woman than she gave to the current number one pro hero.
She felt a small flare of heat from him that he quickly controlled. She smirked slightly.
"Yes I am, I'm Fuyumi Todoroki. It's nice to meet you Kokoa." Fuyumi said with a smile. She was kind and much more socially adjusted than Shoto. Unlike him she didn't seem to dislike or fear their father, choosing to try and see the best in him.
But there wasn't all that much good in there.
Kira bowed again and walked away from the two. Content with her insult to the pro hero. Lots of students were introducing themselves to their classmates families. Or introducing their friends to their siblings.
Kira walked over to follow Bakugou but was once again distracted. This time however it was by Iida making a total fool of himself.
"Oh you two are business partners!" He said confidently.
Mina's Dads exchanged glances for a second. Then looked at Iida trying to determine if he was joking or not.
Mina's biological father, was tall and had short cut pink hair. With a few tattoos and slightly defined muscles. He was a good bit taller than his husband, who was very friendly. Wearing thin glasses, face decorated with a lot of freckles.
Kira rolled her eyes and pulled Iida down to her height by the neck of his armor.
"They're married Tenya. Gay in the Romantical way. Sex Lovers in the nighttime. Probably the daytime too." She whispered quickly.
Iida stiffened face a bright red, hands clasped to his sides and immediately bowed. "I am so Sorry!!! I Misunderstood!!" He apologized profusely.
The two men glanced down at him, then at Kira.
She shrugged.
"He means well."
A/N: Tokoyomi's dad:
Idk, I just thought it would be funny if one of his parents were like... Hardcore traditional goth or something and the other one was all cutesy.

Also I saw this random video and realized that if Kira for some reason had been the one picked to speak at the sports festival it probably would have been something like this:

For the memes
Also ik that last part was way random... Don't judge me.
