MEETING AGAIN

Slayers:

Tanjiro:

You met him again at the wisteria house.

After meeting up with your cousins, you healed at their home for about two months before you decided it was time to head off on your own in an attempt to get your life together.

You left right at the crack of dawn one morning with nothing but some money, a change of clothing, and some onigiri.

A couple hours into your journey, you came across the wisteria house. Wishing for a place to stay, you asked the old woman there - Hisa - if you could stay for a couple of nights. She agreed after hearing your story and led you to a spare room.

A couple of days later, Tanjiro visited Hisa with a thank you gift for her hospitality a few months earlier. You were helping the old woman clean when he arrived, and his eyes shone in recognition when he saw you.

He asked you if you were okay, and was relieved when you said yes. You two started having a small conversation about this and that, in which you learned of his occupation as a demon slayer.

You told him a vague story about your background, but he was understanding when you didn't want to share anymore. Before he left, he offered for you to come with him, in which you said yes - he seemed nice enough.

Inosuke:

You met him again in the Butterfly Mansion.

Your sister was a demon slayer, and you'd gotten word that she'd been injured when battling a low-level demon.

Led by her crow, you went on your way to the Butterfly Mansion to visit your sister and make sure she was okay. You brought a casual snack, some rice balls with you as well.

Once you got there, Aoi led you to the section where your sister was staying. You opened the door and rushed to her side, re-cecking her for any injuries even though she insisted that she were fine.

You'd left the door open, and Inosuke poked his head inside. When he saw you, he grinned evilly and he started insisting that you fight him. You laughed and said no, but he wasn't going to go down with a "no."

Aoi finally found him and dragged him back to his room, but not before he challenged you to a duel at sunset.

Zenitsu:

You met again on the road.

You were heading to a nearby village when you crossed paths with Zenitsu, who was heading in the same direction. He recognized you as the woman who saved him in the final selection, and got on his knees and started to thank you.

You smiled nervously and said "You're welcome" to him, but he stood up and grabbed your arm, insisting that you two stick together.

You sighed and gave in, mostly because he was going to the same destination. But once you two got to talking, it was nice to have someone to talk to (once he stopped simping).

Nezuko:

You two met again (formerly) at the Butterfly Mansion.

When your crow had called for you to go to the base of the mountain, a group of injured slayers were already there waiting for further directions.

Kakushi arrived and led you all to the Butterfly Mansion to heal and start your rehab training. While you were there, you came across a familiar burgundy-haired male. You smiled and knocked on the ajar door, and he smiled and let you inside.

You two talked for a little bit, then you asked if his sister was okay, to which she crawled out of her box and revealed herself. She was adorable, and you commended her for not consuming any humans.

She was fairly nice to you, and by the time they were ready to leave, you saw them off with hugs and mochi. Nezuko gently gave you a hug before getting into her box.

Shinobu:

You met again during a battle with a demon who was disturbing a village.

You were doing pretty fine by yourself, but the fatigue was catching up to you quickly.

You were battling the demon a bit too close to the village homes, so you decided to flee in order to lead the demon away from the people so no one got hurt.

The demon followed you, quicker than expected, and it caught up to you in a matter of seconds, attempting to grab your leg and rip it off.

But the cold claws of the demon never came, instead an agaonized scream which caused you to stumble and turn around. Shinobu was there, standing over the crumbling body of the demon. She gracefully stepped over it and smiled at you.

You bowed, "Thank you, Kocho-san!"

She giggled, "You're welcome. And thank you for the ginger, I enjoyed it."

You blushed in embarrassment when she gave you a knowing smile, and she laughed at the sight.

Mitsuri:

Well, the Love Hashira kept her word and visited your father's workshop about a month and a half later.

You were excited to see her, and even more so when she handed you a small (f/c) bracelet because she'd remembered that you mentioned liking jewelry.

You were touched, and in return you treated her to a meal (or two or seven) at the ramen shop. She was grateful and promised to pay you back, though you insisted that you were fine.

Kanae:

You two met again when you snuck away from Kyojuro's training to see her at the Butterfly Mansion.

It was during a much needed break in between your drills, and while Kyojuro's back was turned you left his estate and snuck over to the Butterfly Mansion.

You got a few looks because you were ducking behind bushes and trying to make sure that Kyojuro (hell, even Senjuro; he'd seen you leave) didn't follow you.

At last, you made it to the Butterfly Mansion and didn't hesitate to look for Kanae. You found her in the back garden, feeding some koi, and instantly approached her and started to make conversation.

Giyuu:

You two crossed paths again while you ou were on your way to a mission.

For some background, after the unfortunate incident with Yae's father and her dog, you were inspired to become a demon slayer in order to stop tragedies like that from happening again.

You informed your mother and Yae of your plan, but Yae was so distraught that she just waved you away without so much of a goodbye. After leaving the village and traveling for a while, you were able to find a master who was willing to train you in Water Breathing (no, not Urokodaki).

After about a year, you moved onto the final selection, passed, and soon you received your first mission.

On the way there, you came across a familiar black haired male walking a little ways ahead of you. You approached him, tapping him on the shoulder.

He vaguely remembered you as the hot-tempered woman from that ramen shop, and when he you found out he was going in the same direction, you just decided to tag along, offering hesitant conversation.

Muichiro:

You met again near the Ubuyashiki Estate.

Muichiro was there on pillar business, and you were there doing rehab training to recover from a demon attack.

You were walking along the pathway that led up to the Mansion when, again, you came across Muichiro. Instantly, you recognized him as the man who'd ignored you, and you walked up to him with the intent of giving him a piece of your mind.

You grabbed his shoulder and forced him around, and he just stared at you distantly, "Who are you again?"

"Excuse me? You were the one who ignored me when I was trying to give you information about that mission weeks ago!" You fumed, annoyed at his nonchalant voice.

"And you're worried about something that happened weeks ago...?"

"Wha- I- y-you were rude!" You took a surprised step back.

"So?" He began walking away, signaling that this conversation was over. You just stood there in a daze.

Kyojuro:

You met again when he visited the wisteria house.

A couple of weeks after you met him for the first time, he arrived again with another Hashira, a very tall man with gold bands on his biceps and a "flashy" personality.

You all had dinner together, talking and laughing the entire night. Kyojuro complemented your cooking skills while Tengen, as the man introduced himself, told stories about his battles with demons.

You offered to make food for Kyojuro again, to which he enthusiastically accepted and even said that he'll bring some ingredients so the dishes could be more versatile, and you happily agreed.

Sanemi:

You met again in the Butterfly Mansion.

You were in charge of laundry, a chore you hated, but you were still happy to help nonetheless.

You had just finished cleaning out one of the rooms, filling up the laundry basket to its capacity. You lifted it up and started making your way down the hallway to the laundry room so you could wash the clothes and eventually hand them outside to dry.

You didn't see Sanemi until it was too late, and you crashed into him yet again. At first, you thought you ran into a paitent, and you were annoyed that they didn't see you beforehand.

But you were surprised to see that it was Sanemi instead, and you almost cried because this was the second time that you bumped into him.

He seemed to regonize you too, despite your mask, and he frowned when you stood up and began stuttering apologies again.

"Don't," he interrupted you with a soft frown, "Just watch where you're going, dammit."

Obanai:

You met again in a nearby village.

You'd gotten word that a demon was wreaking havoc, so you stopped by to investigate. However, to your surprise, you ran into Obanai talking with a few other lower ranked slayers about the demon's whereabouts.

You walked up to him, preparing yourself to ask about the situation. You tapped him on the shoulder, "Excuse me, Iguro-san? I wanted to ask about the situation here. Has the demon been spotted?"

Obanai just gave you a pointed look, "No. I sent a few of those lower ranks to look for it, but I doubt that they'll find it, since I've learned not to expect much from them. Just in case they don't come back, I'll handle it myself."

He began to head north, you you decided to follow him with a gentle smile, deciding not to chew him out for being rude the last time like you originally planned.

Tengen:

You two met again in a jewelry shop.

You were going to the shop to get a gift for your grandmother, who was turning 90. You decided to get her a simple kanzashi hairpin.

When you were on break from serving ramen, you walked half a mile to the jewelry store. When you opened the door, you almost bumped into someone. You muttered an apology, looking up at the person.

"Oh!" You exclaimed when seeing it was Tengen. Next to him was a woman with jet-black hair tied into a high ponytail and gentle purple eyes.

You bowed in apology, but Tengen just chuckled and said it was fine. He introduced you to his second wife, Hinatsuru, who was just so pretty - you couldn't focus on anything she was saying.

After you bought your present for your grandmother, you decided to make Hinatsuru some udon - something that she'd heard from Suma and was eager to try.

You whipped her up a quick bowl and served it to her with some tonkatsu, she loved it and paid you a little extra. Before they left, they both flashed you a gentle smile, something that made your heart flutter.

Gyomei:

You met again at his estate.

After your unexpected mission (in which you killed the demon with no mercy whatsoever) you traveled back to Gyomei's Estate as quickly as you could.

Once you got there, he welcomed you with some tea and discussed with you what training would look like. He expressed that he wouldn't show leniency - even though you were the highest rank before a Hashira - in order to truly bring out your potential.

You were dedicated to become stronger under his guidance, and even cheekily said that you may even bee a Hashira one day. You were experienced in [breath style], so that would make things easier.

You started your training the next day.

Demons:

Daki:

You met her again... in her room.

Okay, the owner of the house tasked you with cleaning the rooms on the second floor, but she didn't specify which rooms that you had to clean. So you cleaned every one, but you didn't mind since there were only about four rooms.

The final room that you cleaned was the oiran's room. You opened the door and shivered when a cold breeze drafted in through an open window.

You felt your way to the window, closing it and lighting a candle a few minutes later. You blinked when a dim light flooded into the room, and you were rather surprised to find the room sort of empty, save for a comfortable futon.

Nevertheless, you cleaned and polished everything - making sure it was to her liking. You were just finishing with wiping the mirror when the door slid open, revealing the oiran.

You quickly stood up and brushed yourself off, stammering about how you were just cleaning her room because the owner asked you too. No sooner than that were you packing up your supplies and rushing out, but Daki grabbed your collar.

"Stay out of my room." Was all she said, and you bowed one last time and practically ran downstairs.

Gyutaro:

You met him again in a dark alleyway.

Demon slayers had arrived (not Tengen or the Kamados) because they suspected that there was suspicious activity not too far from the Kyogoku House.

You were in a bit of a killing mood, so you decided to investigate where you believed the demon slayers were.

As you were heading over there, you heard a horrid scream coming from the left of where you were. You quickly changed direction, leaping onto the roofs of buildings and jumping down into a dark alleyway.

You were a bit too late, for Gyutaro was standing over the bodies of about four demon slayers. He turned when hearing someone appear behind him, and his eyes widened a fraction when seeing it was you.

You smiled, "Looks like you beat me to it, hmm? I'd expect nothing less from an uppermoon."

He scratched the side of his spotted face, "It was easy. They were weak."

Hantengu (Clones):

You met them again in the woods.

Specifically, you.met Aizetsu in the woods. You were running away from a demon slayer who was way stronger than you anticipated, and you leaped through the branches of a few trees and landed a couple of miles away from the slayer.

But as you were walking, you noticed what looked like a battle going on, and your nosy ass decided to check it out.

There was a young demon slayer with a spear in her stomach, pinning her to a nearby tree. There was a demon standing below her, looking up at her with his biting blue eyes.

"Your pitifully weak," he stated as the woman closed her eyes and took her last breath. You watched him in amusement as he pulled his spear from the woman's stomach and watched as she fell to the ground.

The demon crouched down and absorbed the demon slayer, tossing her broken sword to the side. You decided to walk up next to him.

"Hey." You struck up a conversation, and he was hesitant to respond, but did anyway. You smiled and introduced yourself, but he just nodded and walked away, looking even sadder than he did before he met you.

After a few minutes of walking, you saw another familiar demon, Karaku. You rolled your eyes as he approached you, and didn't say anything even as he smiled and offered for you to come back with them to the Infinity Fortress to report to Muzan.

Muzan scared you, so you told then that you'd just be in the room where they met waiting for them, mostly because Karaku was practically begging you.

Akaza:

You two met again on the way to your home.

It had been a couple weeks since you had seen the yellow eyes, but just in case anything happened, you had bought a pocket knife to defend yourself if need be, but you hadn't seen the eyes since that day.

But today, you looked up into a tree and saw the eyes again. You weren't having it this time, so you took the pocket knife from your kimono and demanded that whoever was watching you come out of the tree and show themselves.

They hesitated for a few moments, but jumped down from the tree and landed on their feet - like a cat. They stepped out into the moonlight, revealing a handsome man with pink hair, pale skin, and blue stripes.

You got straight to the point: "Who are you and why are you watching me?"

"..."

"Answer me!"

"I'm not going to hurt you. Put the knife down."

You gave him a nasty stink eye, but he didn't seem to have a hostile aura around him. You sighed and put the knife away, but you still kept your distance.

The demon began walking away, and you called out to him, "Uh- thank you! For not attacking me..." you trailed off as he vanished into thin air.

Douma:

You met again when you discovered he was a demon.

You were walking in the forest, headed for a nearby hot spring. You had just followed the signage that told you where the hot spring was, but you didn't trust yourself not to get lost.

Sure enough, you did, and you found yourself near the familiar structure that was Douma's temple. But something was different.

The air was frigid, which was weird because it was a particularly humid night. You placed your hand on the hilt of your sword as you heard laughing.

As you got closer to the sound, the crunch of ice appeared underneath your footsteps and the air became even colder. And then you saw him. He was standing over the lifeless body of a young female slayer.

Without even thinking, you dropped your bag and charged at the demon.

But strangely enough, he didn't attack you, only cheerfully asking you questions the entire time while dodging your attacks, that fake smile still plastered onto his face. Eventually you stopped your attacks.

"What's with the questions, demon?"

He simply smiled and opened his fan, "I'm just curious about you, dear."

You raised an eyebrow at him, but sheathed your sword anyway and headed back to wherever the hot springs were. You were too tired to deal with this shit.

Kokushibo:

You two met again on a cliffside.

You were picking berries for your mother so she could make some dessert, and while you were hiking you came across a beautiful cliff that overlooked a river.

Smiling, you made your way to a nearby boulder and sat on it, taking in the beautiful scenery. You didn't notice him walk up beside you.

You turned your head to the left to grab your bag, only for you to shriek and fall off of the huge rock. The demon didn't react, inseat staring at the river below.

After a while of neither of you saying anything, you hesitantly spoke up, your voice slightly cracking, "The moon is nice tonight."

He turned, gazing down at you with an unreadable expression, then he hummed and vanished into thin air, a gust of wind following his disappearance.

Muzan:

You met again while he was undercover as that child.

He'd called you to his estate to give you another mission, and for slight praise because you'd managed to kill your third Hashira.

When you got there, he was in his regular form, dressed in a casual suit as he gazed over a book on plants.

You bowed low, "Y-yes, Muzan-sama?" You didn't mean to stutter, but you couldn't stop staring at him. He looked down at you, making you shiver.

"There are more demon slayers near where I suspect the blue spider lily is kept. Find them. Kill them."

"Mhm..." you mumbled nervously, not sure what else to do because you knew you couldn't look up and meet his eyes.

"As for that Hashira you disposed of..." You finally looked up when he spoke again, only to find him actually smiling down at you, "You've pleased me."

You gratefully stood up, bowed, and went to the area that he'd given you, determined to please him again.
