"Three thousand six hundred..."
"Three thousand six hundred and one..."
"Three thousand six hundred and two..."
"Three thousand six hundred and three..."
Kira Kokoa stared up at the ceiling. Whispering quietly to herself.
"Three thousand six hundred and four."
She was counting. Seemed to be a decent way to pass the time. She'd count and count and count. Then divide the number once she reached a reasonably high one to see how much time has passed.
"Three thousand six hundred and four."
She was an hour into what she assumed was her third day here. Or at least an hour after she woke up from a longer sleep. She didn't really have a way to tell time here.
No clocks. No windows. No other people.
She gets about one meal a day. It was different depending on who gave it, at least that's what she assumed. She barely saw them. They opened the door, stuck it in and slid it across the room.
The room was about the size of her dorm room. But it was split in half by a wall of bars like a jail. With a short door in the center. Locked.
Across from her on the opposite side of the room was a thick door. Locked.
The only thing on her side was an inconveniently small toilet. Shoved in the corner by her feet. That's it. No bedding or anything. She laid flat on her back staring up at the single very dim light in her room.
She wondered what the endgame here was.
Was she here because they didn't know what to do with her? Because they were too busy? Or maybe they were just trying to mentally break her before she even really saw them in person.
Maybe it was her quirk. They didn't want to risk her finding out more information by being around her. So they kept her in isolation.
But she still gathered information.
The league wasn't just that anymore. It had merged with another huge villain organization. Which is how they have such a big compound now.
Shigaraki wasn't here. Kira wasn't sure where he was, but he wasn't in commission. Just like all for one they couldn't communicate with him. Without their leaders they couldn't seem to decide what to do with Kira.
"Three thousand six hundred and five."
She wondered where her classmates were. Obviously they knew she was missing by now. Did Todoroki make it seem like she just ran away? With Toga and Twice it would certainly be possible. Or did he just take her and hope for the best?
Kira guessed it was the first one. Shoto wasn't dumb. He might be crazy and siding with the league of villains. But he wasn't dumb.
He also wasn't evil.
Not really. He genuinely seemed to hate himself for what he was doing to her. For having to take her to protect his identity as the traitor. Kira wanted to know what exactly his motivation was.
"It's you or her."
"Mother."
Interesting. Kira wasn't sure what exactly he meant but it certainly gave her something to think about during her solitude.

Bakugou felt like this all was a waste of time. Everything was a waste of time without Kira at school.
But when he got an offer along with Deku and Todoroki to start attending the
Endeavor agency he was politely forced by the schools rat principal to go. The rodent reasoned it would make sense and it would force him out of the school. Where he had been trying to shut himself up after Kira's disappearance. Not to mention the hero commission being all up UAs ass about their own field training.
Nezu knew he had to force the boy to overcome his grief over the fact that his best friend was now a missing person. Having him focus on hero work did this quite well.
Unfortunately that meant he was spending an unreasonable amount of time with Todoroki and Deku.
He noticed that Todoroki seemed to act differently now. He was silent way more than before and just stared out into nothing. Bakugou got the feeling he was grieving. For Kira, as though she was dead or something.
Bakugou had expected this to make him madder at the boy. But instead of petty dislike, Bakugou started to feel like he might somehow understand him. All the others were trying to ignore their upset feelings and act like Kira was somewhere fighting crime like a vigilante. Solving Mineta's murder while off grid.
Bullshit.
Bakugou knew it. If she had been thinking of doing that there would have been some signs. She would have told him something. She would have left him a note. Not just Aizawa. Kira wasn't the type to just leave, like that detective said. She wouldn't run away for no good reason.
The only other person who didn't seem to buy any explanation given to him... Was Todoroki.
Bakugou had always just assumed Todoroki had a distant Crush on Kira. Or something of the sort. It used to piss him off, but now he felt like he wasn't alone in feeling the way he did. Like there was someone else suffering like he was.
Bakugou glared out the window as he watched the city fly by. Stuck next to Todoroki in Endeavor's damn tiny car. Midoriya was on Todoroki's other side.
Though he desperately wished to be the one beside Kacchan.
While a selfish part of him was happy to have more of his time. Midoriya also found himself not being as happy with Kira's disappearance as he thought he would. Ever since she came he had wanted her gone.
But now that she is... He felt odd. He didn't know Kokoa very well, he didn't even really like her...
But the idea of her just leaving without a word. Not even to Bakugou? It wasn't right. It made him worry for his own safety, and the safety of his classmates.
We're they all in danger?
Kaminari had brought up the eerie similarities between her and Mineta's disappearances. They both left, seemingly of their own free will. Leaving a note with their finger prints and their hand writing.
But Mineta died after he left.
There was no trace of Kira. After leaving campus camera footage followed her for a block or two. Before she walked into the woods, nothing of hers was found.
The police combed the woods, not a thing. Not even a footprint.
She was gone.
