If they were trying to drive Kira insane they might be onto something.

Being alone all day for possibly more than a week really was making her just a little nuts. She closed her eyes, sick of the grey walls of her cell. She hadn't seen a person at all today. Seems they forgot her meals.

She hummed softly to herself. A nameless tune that didn't seem to go along to any actual song. It bounced off the walls of brick back towards her. Like it was a voice from a separate person. But it wasn't.

The thick walls made it hard for even the slightest buzz of activity to get picked up by her thoughts. Which was enough to completely unnerve her.

All she had were her own thoughts. And they weren't very comforting.

She thought a lot of UA. Wondering what was going on. Was Katsuki okay? She was worried about him, Kirishima would be there for him. But she knew he'd miss her, probably even blame himself.

What did they think? What did Todoroki tell them? Have they figured out it was him? Or has he gotten away with her kidnapping and Mineta's murder?

She hoped that any minute now someone would burst through that door. A hero. One of her classmates, here to save her.

She'd even take Midoriya at this point. In fact she almost missed him. His crazy thoughts and fake smiles.

Or maybe she was just starved of human interaction.

Kira had always been the type to need people. Someone to talk too, someone to read. She was a fairly social person, though sometimes she got tired of them.

She didn't show it enough.

Looking back, she didn't show her friends how much they meant to her. She didn't tell them how much she loved them. They didn't realize how incredibly lucky and grateful she was to have them. She would do anything for them-

The door opened.

Naomosa had gotten used to Kira Kokoa hanging out at the police station all day long. He had began to enjoy her company very much.

But now she had been replaced by someone else.

"You sure? Nothing? How could there be nothing?!" The man asked, pacing around.

"Yagi..." Naomosa sighed. "Yes. There has been nothing since you last came."
"Two hours ago." The detective thought with a frown.

Don't get him wrong, All Might was a good friend of his. He respected him immensely for his work as a pro hero and completely understand how desperate he was to find his niece.

But Naomosa was just as desperate. He was working himself to the bone and clawing at any leads on Kira's disappearance.

Yagi couldn't seem to understand that he was already working as hard as he possibly could. He expected more but Naomosa just couldn't give it to him.

"What about the people you hired?" Naomosa asked, rubbing his eyes and he looked over security footage from a building a mile from UA. Towards the direction Kira had gone in.

"Nothing. Can you believe that? I hire four different private investigators and still nothing. They're all useless." The tired blonde man rubbed his face. "I don't get it. Why would she just leave?"

"I don't know." Naomosa sighed. "Nothing from her classmates either. The only possible reason given was that her and Bakugou had a fight. But I just don't think she'd run off over a conflict between friends."

"Maybe..." All Might mumbled. "Though she did..." He stopped.

Last time she said her and Bakugou got in a fight she'd forgot to eat and drink for three days. He also distinctly remembered her saying she was possibly in love with him.

"What?" Naomasa asked. "You think she would?"

"I don't know." Her uncle shook his head. "Even if that was the case. How could she completely disappear? She hasn't met up with anyone that we can tell. She hasn't spent any money from the card I had given her. She didn't make any cash withdrawals either. So unless she was given money she has no way to pay for food or transportation."

"Did you contact the Bakugou's?" Naomosa asked. "She stayed with them for a short period before the dorms... Maybe she went back?"

"I did. There's nothing, they're just as distraught as we are. They promised me they'd let us know immediately if they saw her." All Might shook his head. He looked exhausted. Distraught.
"Maybe if I knew her better... If I had made more of an effort. Maybe she wouldn't have ran, or at very least maybe if have an idea of where she was."
He felt useless. He just wanted to do something to try and help.

A year ago he had all the power in the world. He could do anything and was the top pro in the entire country.

Now he was useless. Unable to save even his own niece.

"Don't blame yourself for this. We'll find her Yagi. I promise."

"What do you think?"

Todoroki turned around with a slight frown. It was just him and Bakugou. Midoriya had gone inside already. The air was cold, not that it bothered him. The question however... Kinda did.
"What?"

"What do you think happened to Kira?" Bakugou asked. He turned and faced him with a frown. Bakugou had been eeriely quiet. For the past week.

After Kira left Todoroki expected him to scream. To be angry and lash out at everyone and everything. He expected Bakugou to blow something out and tear the dorms apart looking for her.

But he didn't.

It seemed to Shoto like the quiet before a storm. The silence before an earth shattering explosion. Like any minute now... The other teen would turn and see him. He would know what Todoroki did and he would kill him for it.

"You knew her better than anyone. Why would I know what you don't?" Todoroki asked him.

"The detective said you two were in those woods at the same time. Did she say anything to you?" Bakugou asked. Watching the other teen boy. They stared each other down.

"We bumped into each other yes. We talked about the Mineta case. That's really all, she was going to the police station." Todoroki shrugged. "I told all this to the detective. He said she went back to the dorms after our conversation and didn't leave until later that night."

He had told Naomosa that. He was aware of his quirk so he acted accordingly. Only saying things that were true.

They did just walk up on each other.

She was heading towards the police department.

They did talk about the Mineta case.

Naomosa's quirk didn't detect deception. Rather a lie. It looked for black or white, Todoroki expertly treaded that line.

Spending all his life with a overbearing, abusive and sheltering father had sharpened his lying skills. To the point where he could almost convince himself of his innocence.

He hated how easy it had been to lie to that detective.

He almost wanted Kira to be found. He wanted the detective to succeed. For the heroes to win.

But he also couldn't let that happen.

"That's it?" Bakugou asked.

"Yes. Though I find it odd for her to run away." Todoroki admitted. He couldn't try to convince Bakugou this behavior from Kira was normal. Because everyone knew it wasn't. So he had to play along, act just as confused.

Like how he played along with the Mineta case. He could do the same thing here.

"Of course it's fucking odd." Bakugou mumbled. "It's more than odd. It's unbelievable."

"So what do you think then?" Todoroki asked him with a frown. Knowing he already thought there was foul play involved.

Bakugou looked away. "I don't know yet... But I'm gonna find out."

"You sure we should be doing this?" Kirishima whispered. "It seems like we might be breaking rules."

"Shut up. You wanna help or not?" Bakugou asked with a glare. "Besides, everyone else has seen it. Why not us?"

Bakugou and Kirishima were in Aizawa's office on his computer. Normally Bakugou wouldn't do something as sneaky as this, but Aizawa had left the computer on with the security footage of Kira from last week.

Bakugou just couldn't help himself when he glanced at it.

He watched from the beginning. Kira left the roof. The footage was a compilation of just her, used for researching the case. So he didn't have to skip through it at all to follow her.

She walked to her dorm. Went in and stayed there for about six minutes. For the privacy of the students, obviously there were no cameras in her room.

She went out, this time in her uniform. With a hoodie over. She didn't seem to be paranoid or worried, but she was upset. Probably from the fight.

The camera switched perspective several times as she walked down the hall, into the elevator, out of the dorms and then down a few paths. She then walked off the path and walked into the woods.

"Looks like she stayed there for a while." Kirishima mumbled, leaning over Bakugou's shoulder as he looked over the cameras.

Then there were a few skips and Kira walked out. Back towards the dorms. But something was different.

"Is she skipping?" Bakugou whispered. He reversed it and played it again. There was a certain uncharacteristic pep in her step. The entire time Bakugou had known her... She had NEVER walked like that.

"That's... That's kinda weird." Kirishima frowned. She moved that way all the way back to her room. She didn't look upset anymore, she was smiling widely.

"It is. But it's not something we haven't noticed."

The two boys spun around. Kirishima Tripped and fell over. Aizawa stood in the door with his arms crossed. "Everything in there has been analyzed over and over again."

"Then how the hell would you explain it?" Bakugou crossed his arms back. "That's fucking weird and you know it."

"Of course I do. All of her mannerisms are completely off." Aizawa nodded. "Don't treat us like an enemy Bakugou. We're all trying our hardest."

"After she walked into those woods... Everything about her changed. Something must've happened right?" Kirishima asked.

"We know she bumped into Todoroki. But he said they talked about the case for a few minutes and went their separate ways. Who knows what happened after that." Aizawa sighed and leaned over the computer.

"Do you actually believe she ran away?" Bakugou asked him.

Aizawa hesitated and frowned. "After looking at all of this?... No."

"What are you guys saying then? We can see her walk out." Kirishima pointed at the screen.

"Could be that freaky chick from the league." Bakugou suggested.

Aizawa nodded but still frowned. "It's a theory but... Well how did she get on campus? And why? She wouldn't have any way of knowing Kira was in that place. And then we would have found Kira's actual body too. No one carried it out." He pointed out. Explaining all the holes in that theory.

"Damn it. There has to be some way, some loophole. I know they're behind this... Somehow." Bakugou whispered.

"What about the warp gate guy?" Kirishima offered. "Maybe he got on campus?"

Aizawa shook his head. "No... We never mentioned this to you all. But we caught him a few weeks ago. He's currently in Tartarus."

"Really?" Kirishima whispered. "Hey that's great!" The boy smiled at their tiny victory.

"Doesn't matter." Bakugou mumbled. Nothing but Kira mattered right now. Not to him. She was somewhere out there... Alone and possibly scared.

He knew it. He could feel it in his heart. She hadn't run away. She had been kidnapped...

Kidnapped by that fucking monster.
