4: 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑖𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑒𝑒
School was so boring without Bakugou. Kira yawned in class, they were talking about work studies. She was basically already in one, so she wasn't too concerned about what Aizawa was saying. The big three were coming though.
Kira had never really met them. Sure she'd heard about them, who hasn't? The top three UA hero course students. The strongest in UA, about to graduate soon.
After they left, no one knew who would take over. She glanced at Bakugou's empty seat and sighed. He was the only one still out, being suspended longer than Midoriya for starting the fight. He was probably cleaning the dorms right now, Kira would be sure to visit him for lunch like she's been doing.
"Now that Midoriya is back we'll go into more detail of what the work studies mean." Aizawa said. "Go ahead and come in."
"Why'd he have to call me out like that..."
"Huh?? Who?!"
"Ugh... Just another unpaid internship."
"I highly doubt my old agency would even take me back."
The door slowly opened.
"I'll have students who have experienced them first hand explain. I suggest you pay attention as they explain how work studies are different from internships." Aizawa said, as three students started to walk in.
"These three are third years at UA, they rank at the very top of our student body."
They stood in front of the class, tall and mostly proud. "You may know them as... The big three."
"It's the floaty face guy?!"
"Woah... They're so tall... Even the girl."
"Hey she's pretty cute."
"They're intimidating."
"So... Much... Muscle."
"Totally manly."
Among the three students the one that obviously stuck out the most was the tallest boy. With shiny blonde hair and a huge body he looked like a real hero already.
But beside him was a girl that came up to his shoulders. She had long blueish-lavender hair and bright blue eyes. On her other side was another boy, tall and skinnier than the blonde one. With bangs covering his eyes, he was basically shaking.
"The best of the hero course..."
"The big three?"
"Oh wow!"
"Out of all the students here, they're the ones at the top." Iida said as the class whispered and mummered about them.
"They're still in school but practically pros."
Momo said back. They weren't even thinking these things, just stating them out loud.
"The guy from outside... I could only see his face then. I didn't recognize him."
Kira heard Midoriya say. She remembered when he came inside after encountering the blonde boy. It was weird but she didn't think much of it.
Aizawa let them gush over the three for just a few moments. "Well get to it, introduce yourselves briefly, let's start with Amajiki."
"Anything to get that kid out of his shell."
Said boy glanced up. There was such a strong intensity in his eye that even the other students seemed to get nervous. But they didn't hear or feel what Kira did.
He was a huge ball of nerves. His mind felt like a raincloud. Constantly anxious and scared and unsure of himself.
"AHHHHAHHAHHHHHH!!!" He mentally screamed, Kira grit her teeth and pulled out her headphones. She was gonna need them.
"POTATOES!!! Potatoes. Potatoes. Potatoes. They're all just potatoes! That's right... Just potatoes... IT'S NOT WORKING!!!"
"It's no good..." He grunted. "You two go first... I can still see their bodies... They're not potatoes... No words... My mouth is dry."
He whispered, staring forward with the same intense look.
Then he suddenly turned and faced the wall.
"I wanna go home."
'Mood.' Kira thought, head propped in her hands. Though she felt super bad for the guy, she wished he knew that no one was thinking much about him at all. At least not until he said that.
"Are you really one of UA's top heroes?" Ojirou asked him, trying to be nice.
"Ahaha! Come on Amajiki! You need to have the heart of a lion! Not a kitten~" The girl teased. "He's so cute. What a kitty!"
"This is our Kitten Tamaki Amajiki!" She introduced him with a giggle and a smile. He continued to tremble. "And my name is Nejire Hado! Hi! I'm supposed to talk about work studies- hey wait!"
Hado's mind was like a pinball machine. Thinking about a thousand things at once.
"Oooh a mask! So mysterious- Hey! Why are there so many girls with short hair in this class- woah so many scars- Mirio looks super handsome right now- Tamaki is so shy and cute-"
"What's with the mask? Is it because you're feeling sick? Or just trying to look cool?" She asked, getting super close to Shoji.
"Uh... Well." He stammered. Confused by the very sudden attention. "Trying not to look scary actually... Shes so close to my face..."
"Oh wow you must be Todoroki right?!" Just like that she moved on. "How'd you get that big burn on your face anyway?"
Kira covered her mouth in shock at how blatant she was.
"Please answer... I kinda wanna know too."
"Damn, she sure is... Blunt."
"Cute, hyper... But cute."
"Hey can you wiggle your horns- are you a frog or a toad? OH MY GOODNESS!!! There's so much I wanna know about all of you!!! Let's have an Q and A!!" She said with a giggle.
"These questions make her sound so young..."
"I wonder what her quirk is."
"Please don't ask me anything, I don't think I could answer."
"I need her energy tbh."
Aizawa was becoming very annoyed, there were only so many minutes of teaching he could devote to this. Maybe he shouldn't have invited these kid up to talk. They were still kids after all.
"This is completely irrational." He said to the taller boy.
He laughed nervously. "Don't worry!! I'll get everyone refocused!!!" He said, jumping infront of Hado.
"THE FUTURES GONNA BEEE?!" He put a hand to his ear and waited.
There was silence and Kira rolled her eyes, throwing the poor guy a bone.
"Awful." She said back. It was the answer he had been expecting, but literally no one else had.
"Kira-" Aizawa said, ready to criticize her heckling.
"HEY THAT'S THE FIRST TIME MY CALL AND RESPONSE HAS ACTUALLY WORKED!!" The blonde said, pointing at Kira. "You see that guys!! She got it right!!! AWFUL!! That's you guys's part!!!" The hyper boy said with a good smile. "Thanks first year!!"
"No problem." Kira said with a yawn.
"Is it just me? Or does it seem like each of them is a complete weirdo?" Sato asked as Mirio laughed somewhat maniacally in the background.
"Strange indeed." Tokoyomi nodded.
"Okay you guys look like you have no idea what's going on." The hyper boy said with his hands on his hips. "Hm... You guys got your licenses as first years right? Wow you must be really energetic.... NEW PLAN!"
"Don't do it..." Tamaki mumbled from his corner.
The blonde ignored them, pumping his fists.
"ALL YOU FIRST YEARS FIGHT ME AT ONCE!"
A/N: Okay so hear me out...
The big three...
Everyone in the fandom talks about how the future big three will be:
Bakugou, Midoriya, Todoroki.
But the thing is it's stated several times that the big three isn't determined by who has the most powerful quirks.
(And it's safe to say that Todo Baku and Deku have some of the most powerful quirks in their class)
Mirio had to work extremely hard to get to where he's at. Because his quirk wasn't all that great on its own.
So hear me out... The future big three isn't actually them...
Wouldn't Kira, Monoma and Shinso make and absolutely baller big three?
