A/N: The pain continues...
(You lucky bitches)
Kira was crying. Without even realizing it.
Aizawa watched as her tears slowly streamed down her cheeks. She didn't make much expression, she seemed extremely focused. Zoned in like she was meditating.
"I'm scared again." Eri told Kira as overhaul stepped into her room.
"It's okay Eri. Listen, you can't tell him about me. Okay?" Kira told her.
"He knows everything. I can't hide from him. He told me that! H-he knows when I lie." Eri whimpered.
"It's going to be okay. Eri, I promise, focus on me." Kira told her.
"Eri. Come on, let's go." Overhaul said from the door. With no emotion. Kira couldn't hear his voice, her quirk only connected their eyes.
She wished she could read his mind through Eri. But that didn't work either.
"Oh no." Kira whispered. Barely loud enough to be heard.
"What? What is it Kira?" Aizawa asked, stepping closer.
"I see him." Kira grabbed his sleeve.
"I have to do what he says. It's always worse when I don't... I'm scared. Friend? Friend are you there?! Did my friend leave me?" Eri thought when Kira went too long without talking.
"No! No Eri I'm right here. I won't leave." Kira promised.
"Can you stay with me?" Eri asked as she got off the bed and obediently walked towards Overhaul.
"Of course I will Eri. I promise."

Eri had her eye's closed. They were tightly shut, so Kira couldn't see what was happening to her.
But she could feel the pure terror and pain the girl was feeling. She knew Eri was practically being tortured and Kira couldn't do anything about it.
Kira couldn't help her. She couldn't save her.
"It hurts. It hurts, I'm scared I don't like this. Why can't it stop? Please I want it to stop." Eri begged. Kira guessed she wasn't allowed to beg or scream out loud. "I'm cursed. I deserve this. He keeps telling me that. He's right, my quirk is bad."
"No no, Eri please this isn't your fault. I'm so sorry this is happening. You don't deserve this. It's okay, please just focus on me." Kira said, she was sobbing now or at least she thought she was. Her thoughts completely numb to what's been going on outside.
She had passed out.
Turns out bloodrush had limits. She had just hit one.
Kira didn't even realize she was unconscious right now. She was so focused on Eri that she didn't think of anything else. Everything was dark, as Eri kept her eyes closed.
"It hurts. I don't like when it hurts. Why is this happening?"
"Because Chisaki is a very bad man. I'm sorry that you have to suffer like this, but I promise I'm going to save you Eri. Soon. As soon as possible. You're going to be okay."
"I don't feel like I'm going to be okay."
"You will. We're gonna find you real soon okay? You have lots of friends. Lots of good people who want to help you, they're watching over you. Like angels. They're going to save you soon." Kira told the child, trying to help her get her mind off of the extreme pain she was feeling.
"What's an angel?" Eri asked Kira.
"They're um... They're good creatures. That come from the stars, they watch over kids and protect them from the bad. They're going to protect you too." Kira said, weaving together a fantasy story that could whisk her imagination away. Take her to a place far from the hell she was trapped in.
"It's hurts!! It hurts." Eri suddenly cried out again. Her eyes flew open. Overhaul was covered completely in a white jacket. Along with white plastic gloves and a Dr's mask. A horrifying amount of his clothing was stained with blood. "It's almost over now, when he touches me the pain will go away. I did good this time. He'll make it go away."
Like something out of a horror movie, Overhaul took off his glove and reached towards Eri's head, bloody hand outstretched towards her. Kira waited and then.
Nothing.
Absolutely nothing. Eri was gone, no heartbeat. No thoughts, not even a buzz.
Kira shot up with a scream. Eyes wide as she shook her head frantically. "Where is she?! Where is she?" She asked frantically, holding her head. "No no no no!"
"Kira! Kira it's okay." Aizawa said, grabbing her arms. "It's okay."
"She's awake, thank God."
"No! No I lost her." Kira sobbed. She looked at Aizawa, his quirk wasn't on. This was real, Eri was gone. "I LOST HER!!" Kira sobbed, gripping her teacher's jacket.
"Kira calm down what happened?" Aizawa asked.
"She's gone!" Kira felt around her mouth with her tounge. Trying to find the bullet, hoping that maybe it fell out of her mouth.
She found it, still there. She should be able to still have a connection. "I-i-i-i can't feel anything." Kira stammered. "S-she's gone, oh good Lord she's gone."
They were too late. Eri was dead, she was dead and Kira felt like it was her fault. She lied about Angels and about safety, she gave her false hope.
Thump.
A heartbeat. Was it hers? Was it her own heart that she could feel?
Thump thump.
It wasn't her's! It was different, separate. In her mind.
It was Eri's
"Eri! Eri are you there?!" Kira called out. Closing her eyes tightly, looking for her. "Wait... Wait!" She said, still holding onto Aizawa like her life depended on it.
ThumpThump ThumpThump
"Eri please! Eri I can't hear you."
Kira begged the girl, though Kira had a feeling if she couldn't hear Eri, Eri couldn't hear her.
"Friend?" Eri's voice came softly.
"Eri! Oh thank God you're okay!!" Kira thought gasping for breath as relief washed over her.
"I'm sorry for scaring you." Eri said quietly.
"No no it's okay, what happened? What was that?" Kira asked.
"After he's done. He touches me and everything goes away for a little bit. Then I come back and everything is normal. I'm not bleeding anymore." Eri explained to the best of her abilities.
His quirk.
Kira had figured out he could take things apart with a touch, but she didn't know until the meeting that he could put them back together afterwards, in any way he wanted. He must have taken Eri apart completely, then reconstructed her to where she didn't have any open wounds anymore.
"Thank God, I was worried." Kira said, finally able to breath again.
"For me?" Eri asked.
"Of course, I didn't want you to get hurt." Kira told her, her eyes saw that she was back in her room again.
"People have been worrying a lot about me... There was that one green hero. He wanted to help me." Eri thought back.
Midoriya.
"That's nice." Kira said, she didn't want Eri to know they were connected. Just in case she mentioned anything to Overhaul. "Eri I have a question."
"I'm not good at questions. I don't know many things."
"That's okay, let me ask anyways. Are you in the same place? That you were when you met the green hero?"
"No that was outside, I'm in Eri's room." Eri said, confused.
"Right my bad. But did you get a new room after you saw him, or is it the same?" Kira tried again.
"Oh... I've always had the same room." She told Kira, she curled up in her bed. "I'm tired. I need to sleep."
"Alright, have sweet dreams Eri." Kira said softly back.
"Will you be here when I wake up?" Eri asked her. Kira knew she had to give an honest answer.
"I don't know. I might not talk to you immediately, but I promise I'll try to talk again really soon okay?" She said. She could feel Eri become very sad after hearing this.
"But I'm always with you okay? Just remember everything I said. I'm going to save you Eri "
"Like an Angel?"
"Like an angel."
