"Uh-where's Nezuko?"
Tanjiro looked around the cozy home dreamscape, confused.
You turned from the kitchen, holding a small wooden tray.
"She went to the mountains to get some firewood. Said she'd be back before dark."
Tanjiro blinked, his gaze trailing from you to the door, then back to you.
His cheeks started turning a soft pink.
"Oh... I see."
He rubbed the back of his neck nervously, then laughed a little too quickly.
"Aha... That's Nezuko for you, always helpful."
Just then, her voice echoed from the hallway.
"Onii-chan~!"
Tanjiro turned toward her.
She was smirking.
"Oni-chan, Mom, Shigeru, and I will just go for a little walk... you know, to give you some privacy with Y/N~"
Before he could respond, she grabbed the others and zoomed out of the house, leaving only giggles behind.
He turned back toward you, frozen.
You walked over to him, soft steps on the wooden floor.
"Tanjiro..."
You reached up and placed your hand gently against his cheek.
He flinched slightly but didn't pull away. His breath hitched.
"Y-y-yes?"
You leaned in... closer...
His face turned crimson.
His heart was going BOOM BOOM BOOM.
'Is she gonna kiss me?!'
He shut his eyes tightly, trembling just a bit.
...
...
Two long minutes passed.
And...
Nothing.
He opened one eye slowly-
Only to see you hunched over, cackling like a gremlin.
"PFFT-YAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh my god-Tanjiro! You really thought-!"
You could barely breathe.
His face went from pink to tomato red.
He looked down, mortified.
"I-I... uh..."
"Okay, okay-fine."
You calmed yourself down and wiped a tear of laughter.
"I'm sorry, hun."
You smiled softly, leaned in again, and this time?
You gave him a quick peck on the lips.
"Happy now?" you mumbled, slightly pink yourself.
Tanjiro just froze.
His brain completely short-circuited.
He blinked.
And then-
THUMP.
He fainted.
"AH-TANJIRO!! WAKE UP!"
You grabbed his shoulders, shaking him.
"Boy you better not die on me!"

Tanjiro sat up, rubbing the back of his head.
You were handing him some water.
"I'm really sorry, Tanjiro..."
He shook his head quickly.
"No, don't be! I-I actually liked that kiss..."
His face turned even redder.
You blinked at him.
"Aw... you're too cute when you blush."
ᴢᴇɴɪᴛsᴜ's ᴅʀᴇᴀᴍ :
(Im sure y'all were waiting for his dream)
"Come on, over there!! The peaches over there are delicious! And with the white clovers in full bloom, I can make you a ring of flowers-for you, Y/N!"
"Sure! Make a lot of them!! Alright, Zenitsu?"
After you said that, he jumped happily.
Then he saw a river.
"I-I'll just carry you on my back and jump over the river! Not even your toes will get wet, Y/N!"
He bent down, and you jumped on his back.
He started hopping on the rocks to get across the river.
"Just leave it to me!"
And-oop-he jumped over it like some anime prince.
"Let's goooo!"
He laughed excitedly while you were giggling on his back.
When he finally reached the other side, he carefully let you down like you were made of gold.
You sat together under a peach tree, the breeze blowing softly through the leaves.
Zenitsu gently placed a crown of clovers and wildflowers on your head.
"It suits you perfectly, Y/N... You're like a fairy," he whispered.
You raised an eyebrow. "I better be. If I'm a fairy, then you're my personal simp."
He blushed so hard, it looked like steam might come out of his ears.
"That's fine! I'll simp forever if it's for you!!"
You laughed and leaned your head on his shoulder.
He nearly passed out on the spot-but stayed frozen like a statue, heart pounding like a drum.
'This... this is heaven...' he thought with sparkles in his eyes
