I was excited on our way to Polaris, our favorite restaurant. The place he bought and renamed after me.
Hindi na kami ulit nakabisita rito kaya sabik na sabik ako ngayon. Pagpasok ay pinagtinginan kami agad, ang ibang empleyado'y bumabati pa.
"Good evening," bati ni Cas. "Si Mandy?"
My smile widened when I heard her voice. "Good evening, Sir!"
"Good evening, Mandy," Caspian said.
Lumitaw si Mandy, nakangisi pa pero napaawang ang labi pagkakita sa 'kin.
"M-Ma'am Lars!"
"Hi, Mandy. How are you?" bati ko.
"Ayos naman, Ma'am, I mean..." He looked at Cas, asking for help.
Cas chuckled. "Go on, she remembers you know."
Her mouth parted dramatically and I swear I was startled when she screamed loudly and jumped on me.
"Namiss kita, Ma'am!" She exclaimed happily. "Finally!"
"I missed you too, Mands! Pati na rin itong resto!" I squeezed her. "I'm sorry 'di kita maalala no'ng huling punta ko."
"I understand!" She shook her head, her eyes lowered down my stomach. "You really are pregnant!"
"Yeah," I smiled happily.
"Wow! Kaya pala tuwang-tuwa 'tong si Sir at nagpakain pa rito!" She beamed and looked at me again. "At ang blooming nga naman talaga ng Ma'am ko!"
I laughed and embraced her again.
"Bolera ka pa rin!" I chuckled.
I was all smiles when Caspian introduced me formally to the staff. Mandy led us to our favorite spot by the balcony.
May natanggap na tawag si Cas kaya naiwan kami ni Mandy do'n.
Mandy giggled.
"Naku, hanggang ngayon, kinikilig pa rin ako sa inyo ni Sir Cas!" She said dreamily.
I laughed and mentioned the chair. "Umupo ka nga! Kumusta? Ikaw ba, may boyfriend na?" I asked. Her face turned sour.
"Nothing new, palagi pa ring niloloko."
"Don't worry." Inabot ko ang kamay niya sa lamesa at pinisil. "Hindi pa siguro oras na makilala mo siya but a day will come where you'll meet your true love."
"Sana nga, Ma'am Lars." She breathed. "Gusto ko na rin makaramdam ng ganyan sa inyo ni Sir na literal na mag-go-glow ka!"
"Don't worry, I believe the right man with come. At the right time."
"Kagaya ni Sir Cas, Ma'am Polaris? Sa 'yo?" She teased.
My cheeks flushed, natatawang pinisil niya rin ang kamay ko.
"Akala ko talaga, Ma'am, imposible na kayo ni Sir," aniya, bakas ang lungkot sa mga mata.
"Bakit naman?"
"Palagi kasi siyang naglalagi dito sa resto, sa paborito n'yong pwesto, mag-isa, kakain ng paborito n'yo at maglalasing." Kwento niya. "Sir Warrion often comes here to fetch him, d'yan na kasi nakakatulog sa lamesa."
I sighed. "Really?"
"Opo, kaya masayang-masaya kami na magaan na ulit ang aura niya. Dati kasi madalas tahimik ta's suplado. Akala mo galit sa mundo. Anyway, alam mo ba, Ma'am, na ikaw ang may-ari ng resto?"
"Huh?" I blinked. "Wasn't it just renamed after me–"
"Ay hindi lang 'yon, Ma'am. No'ng binili 'to ni Sir no'ng magsasara na 'yong resto sa iyo nakapangalan! He basically saved our livelihood because when he saved your favorite resto, he saved the employees that's already here. May mga nag-retire na mga luma at may mga bago pero halos kami rito, ito pa rin."
It made me smile. "That's good to hear..."
"This place has a special place in our hearts, lalo na sa inyo ni Sir. Nakakatuwa nga kapag nagtatanong ang mga guests kung sino 'yong couple ro'n sa board sa labas tapos masaya kaming kinikwento na 'yong mga may-ari 'yon. Dito sila nagka-developan."
"Really? 'Di ko nakita, a?"
"Ah, kasi pinatago ni Sir! Biglang nahiya." She laughed. "Siya kasi nag-design no'n dati, Ma'am! Galing daw sa scrapbook niya."
Napilit ko si Mandy na dalhin ang board kaya hila-hila niya iyon palapit. I couldn't stop laughing at it. It was adorable! Picture namin iyon ni Cas every date rito sa resto! May pa-feathers pa ang loko para kako aesthetic!
"Magaan lalo rito no'ng si Sir na ang nag-manage but he only asked us one thing. Sabi niya, ireserba namin 'tong pwesto niya at baka sakaling pagbalik niya, kasama ka na niya ulit."
I smiled, looking around at the place that broke my heart but put it back together again.
"Everyday's unpredictable, 'no? One day you were together, then broke apart, then now..."
We both smiled at each other.
"Alam mo ba, Ma'am, no'ng gabing pagkaalis mo? Before the restaurant closed, he came back, mabuti na lang at naitago ko ang singsing niya na naiwan niya sa lamesa kaya naibalik ko kasi hinahanap niya." She said. I nodded and listened.

He changed a lot when you're gone, 'yong mga bago naming empleyado takot d'yan pero kaming mga luma? Ako? Tinatawanan ko lang. 'Di ako takot d'yan, sabi ko, under de saya lang 'yan ni Ma'am Lars."
"Tama! Tama!" I laughed. Nag-apir kami roon at saktong dumating si Caspian na sinamaan kami ng tingin ni Mandy.
"What's that? Are you badmouthing me, Mandy?" Ngumiwi si Cas.
"Wala, Sir." Mandy laughed. "Nag-thank you lang ako kay Ma'am Polaris kasi 'di kana bugnutin no'ng bumalik siya."
"Aba't–" Ngumuso si Caspian sa kanya at natigilan pagkakita sa board. "Was that–"
"Wala, Sir!" Mandy cackled and before Cas could even protest, humaharurot na siya palayo dala ang board.
Caspian's pouting as he sat in front of me. I grinned and stood, plopping myself in his lap. Pumulupot kaagad ang braso niya sa 'kin.
"Sama talaga ng ugali nito ni Mandy," he snorted. "Sabi ko h'wag ipapakita ang board sa 'yo at inaayos ko pa ang design..."
"Maganda naman," I consoled him. He gave me a look. "Nasobrahan lang ng balahibo–"
Napabughalit ako ng tusukin niya ang baywang ko.
I wrapped my arms around his nape.
"Alam mo, ang dami mo nang binibili sa 'kin, a? First, the mansion, the telescope and the star... pati ang resto sa akin?"
Tumaas ang kilay niya. "And who spilled that?"
"Mandy?" Natawa ako.
"So nosy," irit niya. "Ito ata ganti niya sa lahat ng sakit ng ulo niya sa 'kin noon."
"Bakit?"
"Kapag naglalasing ako rito siya ang tagatawag kay Warrion o kaya sa mga pinsan para masundo ako. Takot sa 'kin mga empleyado kaya minsan atubiling lumapit, siya lang 'yong may lakas ng loob na makisabay sa ugali ko. Dahilan niya palagi sa mga kasama, masungit lang daw ako kasi wala ka. Pero maamo naman daw ako kapag nand'yan ang amo."
I laughed loudly.
"Anak ng tupang Mandy, ginawa akong aso."
I snickered. "Ay, hindi ba, babe?"
He glared at me. I kissed his face.
"Secret nga sana kasi, iniisip ko magagalit ka kasi sobrang gastos ko na naman." Nguso niya.
"Sa 'yo na 'tong resto, ano ka ba," I told him. "What you've given me was too much, hindi ako magagalit kasi ayaw kong sumama ang loob mo. I know how much you exerted effort para tanggihan lang, 'di ba?"
"But I want it to be yours." He murmured. "Binili ko naman talaga 'to para sa 'yo, sa inyo ng pamilya natin."
"It's alright, Cas." I caressed his hair. "The title doesn't matter at all, magiging asawa rin naman kita kaya sa akin na rin naman 'to."
Kumislap ang mata niya, kumalat ang pula sa pisngi.
"P-pakakasal ka sa 'kin?" He stuttered.
"Saan pa ba papunta 'to?" I pouted. "We already have children." Sumulyap ako sa tiyan ko. "Maraming taon na ang nasayang and we're not getting any younger, may uban ka na nga, e."
"W-weh?" Napahawak siya sa buhok niya. I chuckled.
"Kidding aside."
I felt him playing with my necklace with the star pendant.
"Thank you for keeping this, Reev."
"I can't let go of that necklace, 'yan na lang kasi ang naiwan sa akin noong nawala ang ala-ala ko. I felt like that has a deep meaning for me so I always wear it."
Inilabas rin niya ang kwintas niya, my eyes widened when I saw two band rings on his necklace this time.
"Paanong napunta 'yan sa 'yo?" I pointed my ring on it.
"Nakita ko sa gamit mo. Ang ganda, 'no?"
I nodded, inilahad ko ang kamay ko sa kanya.
"Suot mo sa 'kin," I said.
Natigilan siya. "What?"
Nginuso ko ang singsing. "Suot mo sa 'kin."
Nagmamadaling tinanggal niya ang kwintas. His hands was trembling while slipping it on my fingers.
"Oh, kumalma ka." I laughed.
"I'm just..." He sighed when he saw how the ring still fit perfectly on me.
While he was admiring it, I took the other ring and took his palm. I caught his gaze.
"Cas, will you marry me?" I asked.
He literally stopped breathing. Bapahawak siya sa lamesa at parang mawawala sa ulirat.
"Y-you... what?"
"Will you marry me?" I repeated.
"Fuck..." He let out a shaky breath. "That should be my line, Reev."
"It's my line now," I smirked. "Ano? Yes or no?"
"Of course, yes!" He gasped, nakatulala siya sa daliri niya habang inilalagay ko ang singsing.
"You really asked me to marry you, Reev?" bulong niyang 'di makapaniwala.
I kissed his blushing cheek. "Ayaw mo ba?"
"Of course, I want!" He exclaimed. "Fuck, inunahan mo na ako!"
Yumakap siya sa akin at nanggigigil ns humalik sa pisngi ko.
"I love you, I love you, I love you!" He gasped in my ear. "Mahal na mahal na mahal kita."
"I love you too," masuyong bulong ko at inabot ang labi niya para sa isang masuyong halik.
We spent the night at Casa Amara, swimming in his infinity pool and making love under the stars.
The next day, lulan ng yate na pag-aari niya ay nagtungo kami sa isla, isa sa mga lugar na naging saksi sa pagmamahalan naming dalawa.
I was wearing a black, flowly dress and hat habang nakapolong puti naman si Caspian at khaki shorts. The first place we visited was the shipwreck beach or what they called Navagio beach.
Inalalayan ako ni Caspian pababa sa speedboat at pumasok kami sa kweba na daan papunta sa barko.
The cave's quiet, the only things that I could hear were the splashing of waves as we walked and the echoes of our voices.
"Careful, babe."
"Nothing's changed here, hmm?" I said, noticing the place.
"We shouldn't," ani Cas. "That's the reason why this remained the best part of the island."
The moment we got out of the cave and were welcomed by the massive ship, my happiness exploded.
"Ang ganda-ganda pa rin!" Lumapit ako papasok sa siwang sa loob ng barko habang nakasunod si Cas.
Ang kahoy kung saan gawa ang barko'y lumang-luma na at sira, kinain o pinamahayan na ng mga hayop. The place that was once filled with pirates were nothing but sea creatures now, making the rusty and old ship their new home.
"Ang ganda, Cas! Na-miss ko rito! Sayang 'di tayo nakapunta no'ng tour no'ng nakaraan. Scam talaga 'yong itinerary mo."
He was laughing. "At least I still brought you here, hmm? May private tour ka na, may private guide ka pa."
I took photos inside, nang matapos ay lumabas at pinagmasdan ko ang lumang barko.
It's crazy how the once mighty ship was now old, rusty, and damaged? How tragic.
Dahil do'n ay 'di ko maiwasang isipin na naman ang kwento ng isa. It was the most beautiful and tragic tale I'd ever known.
Nawala lang ang atensyon nang mapansing kinukuhaan ako ng litrato ni Caspian.
"Come on, babe. Smile for me."
I fixed my hat and dress, umayos ako ng tayo at habang nasa likod ko ang barko ay ngumiti ako sa camera.
"Come here! Tayong dalawa! Para may new entry ka sa scrapbook mo," anyaya ko at paglapit niya't angat ng camera ay humalik ako sa pisngi niya kasabay ng shot.
Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko at sinamahan ako sa dagat. The pristine blue waves kissed our toes, washing away the golden sand on our feet.
Dinama ko ang sariwang hangin at sa pagmulat ng mata'y nakita ang mga yateng dumaraan sa isla.
It was beautiful, how clear the Sea of Thieves was that the ship looked like they were flying from that distance, like those flying pirate ships we've seen in movies.
"Babe, you wanna go up there?" Turo ni Caspian sa taas ng cliff na overlooking ang buong isla.
The view from there was amazing! Kitang-kita ang buong Lost Island at ang Sea of Thieves!
It was cold up there, the grass was swaying like they were dancing, and the wind whispered their song. It gave me peace.
Inilatag ni Cas ang panyo niya bago kami naupo, tanaw na tanaw ang sirang barko at ang islang punong-puno ng kwento.
Caspian sighed and hugged me from behind.
"Why?" I asked and reached for his hair.
"Hmm, masaya lang ako," aniya. "I just can't believe that despite the tragic tale of this island, love can always be found here. It got so many losses but everyone found love."
"Maybe the couple's blessing?" I asked. "Both Lucian and Princess Guinevere died here. They died in the name of love so maybe, they blessed this place to reverse their fate. Para 'di magaya sa pagmamahalan nila."
"Kaya nagkakatuluyan ang mga tao rito?" aniya.
Tinuro ko ang isang pwesto malapit sa kinauupuan namin, sa may cliff ay ang parte na puro damo pero may isang lugar na tinubuan ng naggagandahang bulalak.
"That is said to be the exact spot where Princess Guinevere took her life after Lucian and his crew died," he shared.
"Hmm. You know what I realized with those flowers there?" Turo ko sa bulaklak.
"What?"
"That despite the ugly or the tragic history this place had, it is still capable of producing something beautiful," I breathed and looked at him. Inabot ko ang batok niya para kintalan siya ng halik.
"All... because of love," I whispered in his mouth.

WE spent the week lurking around the island, enjoying the scenery and bonding. Para kaming bumalik sa ligawan stage. Not that I am complaining because I enjoyed this very much.
No'ng sumapit ang hapon ng araw na 'yon ay busog at napagod ako sa activities namin kaya nakatulog ako pagkabalik namin sa cabana.
"Gisingin mo na, Tita." I heard a faint voice.
"Ikaw na, Zire, hindi kaya magalit? Mukhang malalim ang tulog, e."
"Hindi 'yan, Tita. Mabait naman 'yan si Lars."
"Oo nga, kaso baka maalimpungatan? Buntis pa naman itong daughter-in-law ko."
Nagitla ako at nagmulat, nag-a-adjust ang paningin. When I realized who was it, napamulagat ako.
"Z-Zire? Tita Tess?"
"You're awake, hija!" Napapalakpak si Tita. "Kanina pa kami nagtutulakan ni Zire kung sino ang gigising sa 'yo."
"Huh?" Umayos ako ng upo at kinusot ang mata. "Bakit po? Anong ginagawa n'yo rito? Akala ko bukas pa kayo? Si Riu?"
"Sikretong malupit!" Tita grinned. "Don't worry, Riu is okay. He's with your Dad. Tara, tara, Polaris dear, ayusan ka namin."
"H-huh?" Mas nagtaka ako sa kanila. "Bakit? Bakit aayusan?"
"Basta." Marahang inalalayan ako ni Zirena. "Dapat super ganda mo! Nakaka-excite!" She giggled.
Naguguluhan ako, lalo na nang iupo nila ako sa tapat ng salamin at sinuklay ni Tita Tess ang buhok ko.
"Buti na lang mga natural beauty tayong lahat dito!" Zirena murmured. "Hindi mahirap make-up-an 'to si Lars, parehas tayo nila Tita na super gaganda."
I noticed that they were wearing beautiful dresses, nakaayos pa.
"Teka, may event? Ano ba talagang nangyayari?"
"Basta..." Tita Tess winked at me in the mirror.
"Kaloka ka, Lars! Inunahan mo pa kami ni Wavy." Tatawa-tawang sabi ni Zire at inangat ang brush niya.
What the heck is happening?
Ang bibilis nila kumilos at wala pang isang oras ay ayos na ayos ako't akala mo'y 'di nakatulog!
Zire did my make-up. It wasn't heavy but I'm sure kita iyon kahit gabi. My hair, courtesy of Tita Tess was curled in beach waves.
"Kaloka, buti nakuha ko 'to at ang anak ko, biglang changed schedule!" aniya at may binuksang malaking box.
"W-what..." I pointed to the white gown.
"Surprise! Pabibo kasi ang anak ko, hija!" Humagikhik siya at inilapit sa akin ang damit. "Come on, bihis ka."
Wala ako sa sarili habang inaayos nila akong dalawa.
It was a beautiful off-shoulder gown that showed off my shoulders and my cleavage. Nakagat ko ang labi sa itsura. It's beautiful! It clung to my figure sexily that the baby bump didn't make it look off! It's designed for mothers!
The necklace blended well with the gown. Napansin ko ring lumaki nga ang dibdib ko sa pagbubuntis at sa ano... kakahimas ni Caspian!
I wore flat sandals and went with them as they took excited photos of me.
"Is it what I think it is?" I asked in disbelief, a smile wanting to escape.
They both nodded at hindi makapaniwalang tumango ako at napahugot ng hininga.
My heart raced, sumulyap ako sa orasan at mas nanlaki ang mata nang mapagtantong alas siyete y media pa lang ng gabi!
Someone knocked on the door. It was Warrion. He smirked when he saw me.
"P'wede na raw lumabas," he announced and nodded at me. "Congrats, Lars."
"T-thank you..." Nanginig ang boses ko.
Nakaalalay si Zire at Tita palabas ng cabana kaya pagkalabas ko at nakita si Dad at si Riu na naka-suit at nag-aantay sa 'kin ay napatili ako.
"Oh my God! My star! I missed you!" I screeched and attacked Riu with hugs and kisses.
He giggled, his chubby cheeks blushing.
"Mimi! I missed you, too!" His green eyes roamed on me, his lips parting. "Wowww! So pretty! Para kang angel, Mimi!"
"Thank you, anak! You're very handsome and cute, too! Bagay na bagay ang suit sa 'yo! Oh, may bowtie pa!" Halakhak ko at tinuro ang collar niya.
"Anak..." Napahiwalay lang ako sa anak ko nang marinig ko si Dad.
"Dad..." my heart melted when I saw his teary eyes.
"Gagong Alcantara 'yan! Tatawag tapos biglang magsasabing ngayon na ang kasal! Usapan namin next month pa, e!" Himutok niya.
Natawa ako at marahang niyakap ang Daddy ko na niyapos ang katawan ko. "Alam mo namang bida-bida 'yan."
"But I'm happy for you, anak." Hinaplos niya ang mukha ko. "Sobrang saya namin ng Mommy mo sa 'yo."
"I missed Mom, I wish she was here," I whispered. He smiled and cupped my cheek.
"Me too, anak." He sighed. "Aalagaan mo ang sarili mo, a? Kahit gago 'yang si Alcantara, I can assure you he'll take care of his family no matter what. I am happy anak na finally, magiging pamilya na kayong buo, kasama si Sirius at ang anak n'yo."
I noticed the fairy lights near the shore. There are chairs with white fabrics and ribbons. May white carpet pa patungong altar, may mga bulaklak na nakakalat sa lalakaran.
"Ready?" My father asked and showed me his arm.
I sighed, looked at the stars, and answered, "I'm ready..."
Humawak ako sa braso niya habang hinahawakan si Riu sa kamay. Together, we walked towards the shore where an acoustic piano version of KLWKN filled the place.
Doon pa lang ay nahulog na ang luha ko.
I saw familiar faces in the crowd who mirrored my reaction. Caspian's cousins, my friends from the hospital, Mandy, and the Alcantaras.
My eyes went back to the aisle where the priest was, with my soon-to-be-husband, Prince Caspian Alcantara waiting.
When we reached the aisle, his emerald green eyes were already bloodshot but it did not hinder how dashing he looked with wa hite tuxedo and slacks.
"Alagaan mo ang anak ko, a?" My eyes swelled when I heard my father's voice broke.
"Y-yes, Sir." Caspian cleared his throat and smiled at my father. "I promise."
"Kapag sinaktan mo 'to ulit, babawiin ko 'to sa 'yo," banta pa ni Daddy pero nangingiti na rin. "I hope you have a good life. Love each other."
"Yes, Tito..."
"Call me Dad." My father smiled.
"Alright, Dad," Caspian answered.
"Hija..." Niyakap ko si Tito Arthur at Tita Tess na naiiyak na rin.
"Salamat po, Tito, Tita,"
"Call me Mom, Lars," she muttered. "And him, your Dad." Tukoy niya kay Tito Arthur na nakangiti sa akin, his green eyes resembling his sons.
"S-salamat po, Dad, Mom..." I hugged them.
Nang umatras ako mula sa kanila ay nakita kong nakadukwang na si Caspian, pinapantayan ang anak na umiiyak sa tabi ko.
"Aww, bakit naman umiiyak ang pare ko?" marahang tanong ng ama niya sa kanya.
My heart swelled, nangilid ang luha ko at bahagyang lumapit rin sa mag-ama ko.
"P-Papa, papakasalan mo na si Mimi?" Pumiyok ang boses ng anak ko.
"Yes, son." My fiancé smiled. "I will marry Mimi so we can have a big, happy family but of course... magpapaalam muna ako sa 'yo..."
Napatakip ako ng bibig nang ginagap ni Cas ang palad ng anak.
"Riu?"
"P-po?"
"Will you give Papa a chance to be with you and your sibling? Can I marry your Mimi?"
Riu cried, nodding his head.
"O-opo, Papa. Love natin si Mimi, a? Bawal iyak si Mimi... malulungkot si Riu at Castor."
"Opo," sumulyap sa itaas si Caspian bago sa anak pabalik. "Hindi iiyak si Mimi at hindi hahayaan ni Papa na malungkot ang kambal niya. Mahal na mahal ko kayo. Salamat, anak." He kissed his forehead.
Dumukwang din ako para humalik sa anak.
"I love you, Riu," bulong ko.
"I love you, Papa! Mimi! Happy family na! Yay!" He exclaimed and hugged us both.
Umalalay si War pababa ng pamangkin at inabot ni Cas ang kamay ko para umalalay patayo.
He pulled me softly and smiled as he guided me in front of the waiting priest.
"Surprise, babe," he whispered. "Gulat ka 'no?"
"Bakit biglaan?" Natatawang bulong ko.
"Binigla mo ako sa proposal mo, hindi ako papatalo kaya binigla rin kita sa kasal," he murmured, grinning.
"Bida-bida ka talaga," I scoffed with conviction. He grinned.
I coudn't keep my smile when ring bearers are Riu and Caspian, the dog. Kagat-kagat ni Cas ang basket ng singsing habang tumatalon-talon habang naglalakad si Riu, gina-guide ang aso sa pwesto namin.
It was a bliss. Parang lumulutang ako sa seremonya ng kasal, nakangiti at parang nasa alapaap.
It also felt extra special because it was the night, our favorite part of the day.
"I do..." Just two words from me and Caspian's already sobbing.
Nagtawanan ang mga bisita at ang pari sa biglaang hikbi niya.
Inangat ko ang singsing at inangat ang kamay niya.
"Take this ring, babe, as a sign of my undying love for you. Accept this ring for my true love, the love that forgives. The love that embraces mistakes and gives a chance. The love that promises to be true, loyal, and eternal." I slipped the ring on his finger and then looked him in the eye.
"Thank you, Cas, for not giving up, for always loving me, for accepting me for who I am. For loving me, Sirius, Castor, and our new baby..." I said. "I promise to give you the love you deserve for the rest of my life. Mahal na mahal kita, Cas. Mahal na mahal."
He was still shaky. It took him time to remember his words.
"Unang-una sa lahat, gusto ko lang sabihin na maraming salamat. Salamat sa pagmamahal na ibinigay mo sa akin. Thank you for another chance, I thank you for forgiveness, for opening your heart to me and giving me the opportunity to show you my love the second time around.
"Salamat, Reev, for being a part of my life. Salamat dahil sa 'yo natuto akong magmahal, maghintay, maging matatag, at magtiwala," he said. "I know that you wasn't enough because you made my life amazing. You blessed me with our sons, Castor and Sirius, and for another blessing..." Nahulog ang tingin niya sa tiyan ko.
He touched my cheek and stared lovingly.
"Let me make it up to you for the rest of our lives, let me show you how much you shine for me. You were the light of my dark life, kung wala ka, nasa dilim lang ako." Iniangat ko ang daliri ko at pinunasan ang luha niya.
"I love you, Cas..." I whispered. "Tama na iyak, cry baby."
"'Di ko maiwasan, e, mahal na mahal kita..." He chuckled lowly. "Thank you, my star..."

When we kissed, the promises were sealed. Maingay ang pagpalakpak at sigawan ng mga bisita pero wala nang mas lalakas pa sa tibok ng puso ko sa saya na nandito kaming dalawa.
"Wanna know the reason why I chose to have our wedding this time of the night?"
"Why?"
"So, Castor can watch and join us," bulong niya at humalik sa tenga ko. "I want the stars to witness my love for you again."
"Mimi! Papa!" Napahiwalay kami nang tumakbo si Sirius kasama ang aso palapit sa amin. Sinalo kaagad siya ng Papa niya at binuhat.
I grinned and reached for the dog wagging his tail excitedly.
"Congratulations, Mimi and Papa! Sirius and Castor, and Caspian, the dog, loves you both!" My son exclaimed and hugged us.
Mapayapa ang puso ko nang niyakap ang mag-ama. Sumubsob sa balikat ko si Riu. Gano'n din si Caspian. Inangat ko ang tingin sa maliwanag na gabi at sa buwan at mga bituing nagnininingning para sa 'min.
I gasped when a shooting star appeared out of nowhere I had to close my eyes quickly, not to wish but to thank them instead for its mark on the skies and for still shining, no matter how dark it gets.
"When we look at the stars, we'll remember our promise, the promise of love that will never ever break," Caspian added.
When I opened my eyes again, the brightest star winked at me like there was a secret between us. The cold and comforting wind wrapped around us and it felt like an invisible hug.
I believe the days will get better. That this is finally the start of our happily ever after.
This is it. The wishes we once whispered, the promises the stardusts listened to, and the prayers the stars had finally heard.
