What if y/n never met Kokushibo?
She would've been able to help Muichiro fight off the demon that entered their home. Y/n wouldn't have been exhausted or suffering from blood-loss.
In the beginning of the fight, at least.
Rather than Yuichiro being harmed, y/n would've been the one to lose her arm since her automatic reaction to a demon would be to shield her younger brothers.
Either y/n dies or is well enough to explain to her brothers what to do and how to stop the bleeding.
Let's say she dies.
Yuichiro and Muichiro bury her, a while later Amane and her children arrive and offers the twins a chance to be Demon Slayers.
I mean, their sister was just killed by a demon and she'd probably say "hell yeah, let's go" so they agree.
Two months. Two months and they're both Hashira.
I imagine that Yuichiro meets Kokushibo at some point and just learns his breathing style because why tf not?
So when Tanjiro gets there, we've got a meanie Moon Hashira and a Mist Hashira who's an actual sweetheart.
Yuichiro votes in favor of killing Tanjiro and Nezuko but switches up real quick, with some complaint, when Muichiro votes for allowing the two siblings to live.
Muichiro is the nicer one out of the two but he can be a little 💩 sometimes. He has his big sister's foul mouth.
He gets along well with Giyuu.
Yuichiro and his crow fought so often that he was given Shiori instead. They're besties.
If y/n lives, she's still gonna find a way to be a demon slayer. Even if she's missing her entire right arm.
She learns to fight well with her left arm alone and has figured out ways to use her legs as well.
For Yuichiro and Muichiro, it's the same as if y/n had died. They become the Moon and Mist Hashira in two months and by the time that happens, y/n meets Uzui.
She spars with him for fun but is able to keep up with him. He offers the opportunity for y/n to be his tsuguko.
She'd never said yes so fast in her life.
Y/n still wants to protect her brothers and before long, she's on the same level as they are. Her missing limb doesn't hold her back and she's as strong as ever.
When Uzui retires, y/n is very hesitant to become the next Sound Hashira and almost considers refusing.
But, in typical Tanjiro fashion, our favorite forehead boy convinces her that she can do it and boom.
Sound Hashira y/n.
All three siblings survive the battle against Muzan and they return to their home in the mountains. They do make it a habit of visiting their friends often.
All three end up with Slayer Marks and croak and die by the time they hit twenty-five.
What if y/n won the fight against Kokushibo?
As if she 🚚ing would have you seen this man???
He gives off one final boss energy than Muzak.
Anyways— let's say she does by some 🐂💩 miracle.
Y/n beheads him just as she swore she would and boop, we've got ourselves a nice lil Moon Hashira.
Y'know. Since she killed Muzan's right hand man.
Since she's familiar with Kokushibo's attacks, y/n is able to fight him alone. Of course, she's a bloody mess by the time she's done but she manages to do it anyways.
She would hang on to the broken flute for him and probably keep his kimono because what type of successor would she be if she didn't steal his drip right off his corpse. Y/n even made a mask which resembled his face.
During the Battle against Muzan, some deaths early on are avoided. Muzan tries to turn y/n into a demon.
It doesn't work. Since his blood is like poison to humans he just goes and gives y/n a 💩 ton of it in order to slow her down so he could kill her.
Yeah, that doesn't work either.
She'd built up an immunity to his blood so it doesn't act as a poison to her nor can it turn her into a demon.
Everybody say "Thanks Kokushibo!"
What if y/n never tripped at the Hashira Meeting?
She would've fought Sanemi.
Like, actually had a fist fight.
Uzui and Rengoku would be 🚚ing cheering.
What if y/n never met Sanemi?
She would have eventually encountered Tanjiro instead after nearly attempting to kill his sister.
As soon as she realizes the situation, she decides to help them since the journey would probably make her stronger.
Y/n is very monotonous and the only emotion she consistently shows is anger and she's just one big 🍑 hater.
She proves herself to be real damn strong and beats Inosuke's 🍑 whenever he demands a fight.
The boar respects her.
Zenitsu is genuinely terrified of her when she's angry but a huge simp either way because she treats him so nicely and gives him dating advice.
Nezuko loves her.
Tanjiro admires her a lot and is very grateful that she's helping them. He's kinda scared of her though.
Especially after she backhanded Kanao so hard that the girl hit a damn tree(at Natagumo Mountain)
Y/n kicks Uzui in the balls at the Hashira meeting and drop kicks Sanemi when he tries to stab Nezuko's box.
Himejima ends up having to hold her still because literally nobody else can keep her violent behind in place.
Y/n apologizes afterwards but that blank look on her face and her natural 🍑hole voice doesn't make her apology very convincing.
The only Hashira she's nice to at first are Rengoku, Himejima, Mitsuri and of course Muichiro.
Borderline emotionless up until the Swordsmith Village Arc when Muichiro finally remembers.
She encounters Kokushibo several times too.
She fights Kokushibo by herself during the battle against Muzan but can't kill him because she's begun to consider him as one of the last family members she has.
It's only after he hurts Muichiro that she starts attacking to kill. Muichiro, Sanemi, Himejima and Genya help her out and they manage to behead Kokushibo.
"You're done, old man. Rest."
That's all y/n had to say to get Kokushibo to stop regenerating his head when they cut it off.
Her and Muichiro live near Tanjiro and the rest of the Kamaboko Squad after all the bad demons had been killed.
What if y/n kept Kokushibo in a box?
Let's say Kokushibo gets emotionally attached to his great great great great great great great granddaughter.
He's sticking with her, even if he's in a box.
Y/n becomes a demon slayer and rises in the ranks because of her additional training with Kokushibo.
He doesn't help her on missions and after y/n buys a place, he just stays there. Occasionally he'll tag along to watch her murder other demons.
Him and Shiori surprisingly get along well.
Y/n is rank Kinoe when she meets Tanjiro and the others at Natagumo Mountain. She's busy helping Inosuke and Kokushibo recognized Tanjiro's earrings so he goes to help the idiot when he's fighting Rui.
Giyuu shows up, Kokushibo scares the living 💩 out of him. Shinobu too when she gets there.
They attack anyways cause, y'know, they're Hashira. That's their job.
Kokushibo only breaks their swords since y/n would probably call him all sorts of mean names if he killed them.
Literally tells them to sit tf down.
Y/n arrives and Kokushibo gets back in his box.
Next thing you know, they're on trial and when it's y/n's turn to be questioned, she states that Kokushibo is her great great great great great great great grandfather.
She's keeping quiet about the fact that he killed an obscene amount of people in the past few centuries.
Y/n explains that he's still training her and both of them only want to help the Demon Slayer Corps.
Kokushibo is allowed to live but it's not like they could kill him anyways, lololol
AHEM
Everyone goes on business as usual, y/n and Kokushibo annihilate every single Upper Moon they come across and Kokushibo is nice enough to give Tanjiro some pointers regarding Sun Breathing.
From memory alone, can you believe it?
After the swordsmith village, Kokushibo spends some quality time with his great great great great great great great grandson and granddaughter.
He's unbothered by their foul language.
Kokushibo says okay to becoming a human again right before the fight against Muzan because why not.
He protects his sweet lil great great great great great great grandchildren and reluctantly defends the Hashira as well.
Either he dies in the battle or lives.
I like to think that those with the mark lived after Muzan was killed so let's just say that Kokushibo chilled with Muichiro and y/n as he aged.
Mf fought everyone who proposes to y/n.
Muichiro did too so y/n either never gets married or gets married after ignoring the two for a month as retaliation.
What if Yuichiro never died?
Muichiro keeps his memories.
Yuichiro joins the Kakushi.
And y/n stays a menace rather than going soft.
What if y/n was gender bent?
No change aside from y/n being a bit more like his/her Father and a bit less of a 🚚ing menace.
Much more polite and less socially inept.
What if y/n wasn't Muichiro's sister?
She'd probably be his cousin or some 💩.
She's still a descendant of Kokushibo but doesn't necessarily have to be kelphead's sibling.
What if the Hashira saw y/n and Koku fighting?
Chaos.
What if Yoriichi met y/n?
I feel like they would get along well.
When y/n isn't angry and cussing someone out or apologizing enough, she's very relaxed.
She wears a solemn and rather uninterested expression which doesn't really change much.
Y/n would probably ask a lot of questions about what Kokushibo was like as a kid or if Yoriichi could spar with her some time.
Yoriichi would just be real happy to see his great great great great great great grandniece and meet her friends too.
Shiori probably chills out around him.
What if y/n could turn into a demon?
This could go one of two ways.
Let's say Kokushibo showed up at her home after y/n and her brothers had been attacked by demons.
She'd end up being the one to receive blood and a 💩 ton of it as well. Y/n would've turned into a demon then.
Yuichiro would already be dead because the three of them would've been laying there for several days by then.
Even if Kokushibo isn't there, y/n is able to keep her humanity long enough to register where she was and wtf had happened.
Yuichiro is dead so her main priority is to find Muichiro some help, even if the sun is out.
Let's say y/n turned into a demon during the fight at the red light district. Since she's stronger at this point, it'd be at least a day before she fully changes.
So y/n is able to help the others out before kinda just dropping when the fight is over and everything is clear.
But, two days later, she's a demon.
Docile and rather miserable but still a demon.
Everyone is distressed about it but they all, even the Hashira, come to an agreement to allow y/n to live since Tanjiro shared that they're super close to finding a way to turn demons into humans again.
Politely asks to be beheaded on a daily basis but Tanjiro refuses, constantly insisting that she'll be human again.
It never happens.
She remains in the sun after Muzan is defeated and Tanjiro is back to normal. I mean, her brother kinda just...
Yeah.
So she stays in the sun and dies with a smile.
It's like it doesn't even hurt.
What if Kokushibo was pocket-sized?
Y/n would actually carry him everywhere.
He'd sit on her shoulder at night and during the day, he would chill out and rest in her pocket.
Kokushibo would never really speak but he wouldn't get upset if y/n would poke his face repeatedly.
What if y/n got a crow instead of Shiori?
She'd hit the thing at least fifteen times out of reflex after is caws in her ear without any warning.
They eventually come to an agreement for the crow to announce its arrival before giving y/n her missions.
The crow reminds of her Kokushibo.
The put a bell on it.
What if Kokushibo lived with the Tokito Family?
Y/n's Mother would be a little frightened at first but is delighted when she learns that he is related to her husband.
Yuichiro pretends like he doesn't like him but actually enjoys watching him practice his breathing style.
Muichiro is absolutely dazzled but tends to hide behind y/n when she's speaking to him about swords.
Y/n's Father is a little wary of Kokushibo but is friendly and welcoming regardless, though he does get a little worried when he catches Kokushibo showing the three children how to swing swords.
When y/n's Mother gets sick, Kokushibo offers to turn her into a demon but the woman declines.
Y/n's Father goes out to get herbs in the middle of a storm, Kokushibo goes with him and they both come back safely.
Y/n's Mother gets better after that and everything is fine and dandy until a Hashira shows up.
Y/n's parents manage to get the Hashira to go away while y/n hides Kokushibo in a different spot in the forest.
It's when they're watching the Hashira leaves that y/n first shows interest in becoming a Demon Slayer.
Kokushibo, of course, helps her out.
1. She's his great(x7???) granddaughter
2. She needs to learn to defend herself
3. Someone to learn his breathing style
Y/n becomes a Demon Slayer at 17, with her parents' permission, and happens to meet Tanjiro.
Kokushibo leaves the Tokito family, only after teaching them all some basic swordsmanship skills, and only meets y/n again at the Infinity Castle.
