Waking up with a lizard laying on top of your face is both the worst and best possible way to wake up in the morning.
Because you can't breathe.
And because you can't breathe.
Y/n didn't bother moving at first, simply lying awake until the lack of air became unbearable for her as she nudged the lizard aside with a, "OKAY, I'M NOT READY TO DIE-"
The tiny reptile squeaked when y/n nudged it off of her face, sitting up with a yawn.
Y/n wasn't going to question how her lizard friend got in her house, simply because she was too tired and she had a really long day ahead of her.
"What to do first..." she mumbled, "Well, there's a simple answer to that one."
The lizard hopped onto her shoulder, nearly falling off but managed to hang on long enough for y/n to assist it.
As soon as she neared the bathroom, the lizard hopped off her shoulder and decided to wait outside the door instead.
"Breakfast can wait, I've got a few things to do!" y/n exclaimed after she left the bathroom just under half an hour later, dressed and ready to go.
She glanced at her sheathed sword which was leaning against the wall, heaving sigh as she returned it to its little spot at her side.
The lizard watched as y/n waved to it before leaving the house. It was a moment before it sighed quietly.

Y/n's first destination was Bubu Pharmacy. She was sure to bring coconut milk for Qiqi and medicine for Baizhu.
It was something y/n, Ayumu and Kaori would take whenever they were sore or in pain after training. It was actually tea since the only way y/n would willingly take medicine was if it had a nice taste.
She figured she'd share it with Baizhu, hoping it would help since he sounded as if he were in pain the last time she saw him.
"Hey, anyone here?" y/n called and smiled when Qiqi peeked at her from behind the counter, "Hello there Qiqi."
The zombie hummed quietly, observing y/n for a moment before replying, "Ah, y/n, it's you. Are you here to make a delivery?"
"You could say that." y/n chuckled as she wandered over before offering the coconut milk to the child, "This is for you."
Qiqi's eyes seemed to brighten, it was only a little yet still noticeable as she took the coconut milk away from y/n and stared at it.
"Thank you, Miss y/n."
"No problem." y/n replied, patting the child on the head, "Where's Baizhu right now? Is he busy?"
"He wasn't feeling well today so Qiqi is in charge. I asked if he wanted you to come and take care of him for the day but he didn't want to be a bother." Qiqi explained.
"Oh, I see..." y/n murmured, going through her schedule for the day to see if she had any time to return and take care of Baizhu, "Let's see... I might be able to come back tomorrow and take care of him if he's still unwell then. In the mean time, give this to Baizhu with every meal he eats. It should help out if he's in pain or if he's feeling weak!"
Qiqi accepted the medicine y/n had made and nodded, "Okay, I'll write down a note so I don't forget. Thank you."
"Of course! I'll be back later!" y/n exclaimed, waving to the child, "Bye-bye now!"
"Bye-bye, Miss y/n." Qiqi echoed as the young lady ran off to her next destination.

Y/n was supposed to provide a list of funerals that were going to take place within the next three months.
After staying up late all night a week before, she was able to finish the list but couldn't get it to Hu Tao due to...
AHEM
The weird blond she kept seeing and carefully avoiding around Liyue.
Y/n cautiously entered Hu Tao's office, being sure to prepare to be scared. Hu Tao had a habit of popping out of random places and scaring the jumpy h/c haired girl.
Once, y/n passed out on the spot.
'There's nobody here.' she realized.
No heartbeats aside from her own or breathing. There was nobody in the room with-
"Oh, y/n, you're here!" Hu Tao chirped, opening the door to the office from behind y/n.
"HOLY-" y/n began, jumping a good five feet away from her Boss, "DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT, DAMN IT-"
"I didn't even intend to scare you this time! You really are a jumpy one, aren't you, y/n?" the brunette teased, y/n's cheeks heating up with embarrassment.
"Stop it..." y/n grumbled before offering the papers to Hu Tao, "A-Anyways, I brought the list you requested. Let me know if you need anything else. You know where to find me."
Y/n began hurrying to the door, on her way to her next destination for the day.
"You're going already?" Hu Tao inquired and y/n gave her an apologetic look.
"Mhm! I have a lot of things to finish today so if you have any more work for me, I may have to complete it the day after tomorrow." y/n explained before waving, "I've gotta get going now!"
As y/n hurriedly exited the office, Hu Tao found herself pouting. She was a little disappointed.
"Aw... I was hoping to ask her if she wanted to have dinner tonight..." Hu Tao murmured, "Well, I see her almost every day. I have plenty of chances to ask her!"
Y/n was a busy person and probably had a filled schedule. Hu Tao didn't want to overwhelm the already occupied train wreck.

"Ganyu!" y/n called, feeling breathless as she finally caught up to the Adeptus who had been in the Jade Chamber the entire time, "Do you need any help with anything?"
The Adeptus seemed a little surprised by y/n's sudden arrival, "Y/n, you didn't run around Liyue looking for me, did you?"
"Hah... it's not that obvious, is it?" y/n asked breathlessly, smiling awkwardly.
"Maybe just a little." Ganyu chuckled, "No, I don't need assistance with anything but thank you for asking. Ningguang may need your help though. She asked me to send you to her if I spotted you."
"Oh! Okay! I'll go right away!" y/n exclaimed then beamed, "Let me know if you need anything, Ganyu! Don't be afraid to ask me for stuff!"
Before Ganyu could say anything else, y/n was already running off in search of Ningguang.
Y/n found the woman quickly, Ningguang deep in thought while reading a book.
Y/n recognized it as the one she had lended to her a couple days before.
"You should read it! Whenever you're troubled, read a page or two! I always got the courage to do something I didn't want to when I picked it up and read a bit!" y/n had advised, smiling.
Ningguang had regarded her for a moment before averting her eyes, cheeks turning pink, "Alright... I'll read it."
"O-Oh, don't read it just because I recommended it! You read it only if you want to!"
"Well, I'm quite curious now. I'll read it."
"Good Afternoon, Ningguang!" y/n said, interrupting the woman's thoughts which just so happened to be about her.
Ningguang certainly wasn't expecting y/n to be there but was still delighted.
"Y/n, you're here." Ningguang said with a hint of relief in her voice which y/n caught.
"Yeah, is there something you need?" y/n asked and the woman shook her head.
"Oh no, I just wanted to make sure you were settling in well. I... am a bit worried about you." Ningguang admitted.
Y/n's brows raised and she beamed with an aura filled with sunshine and rainbows, "You were? Thank you but don't worry! I'm settling in just fine and I've grown familiar with everything!"
"That reminds me, you wouldn't mind making a quick trip to Mondstadt for me, would you?" Ningguang asked.
"Of course but... what for?"
"I just need you to deliver a message to the Grand Master, that's all." Ningguang replied with a soft smile, "Do you need someone to come with you? I've heard you've been having a bit of trouble with geovishaps lately."
"H-Huh!? When-" y/n began, eyes wide.
Ningguang chuckled as the h/c haired woman began spouting unintelligible sentences, trying to explain her problem with the annoying creatures before giving up.
"Ahem, yes, I would like that..." y/n sighed as Ningguang placed the book she was reading down on a table.
She picked up a letter and passed it to y/n who tucked it into her bag where it'd be safe.
"Is that all?" y/n asked and Ningguang hesitated for a moment, thinking about asking the h/c haired woman if she wanted to have lunch some time.
'She works several jobs.' Ningguang reminded herself, 'She's probably very busy and needs time to herself.'
"That's all. Thank you again for your help, y/n." Ningguang replied.
Y/n grinned, "My pleasure! Farewell!"
With that, y/n hurried out of the Jade Chamber and leapt off the side, being sure to use to her glider to safely glide down so she wouldn't fall to her death.
Since she was going to Mondstadt, she'd have the chance to thank Kaeya for lending her the glider. She used it mostly for running away from Geovishaps and to deliver things quicker.
She also had to see Albedo since the Alchemist was fascinated by her able to sleep-fight(?) and what may cause it.
Paying Diluc a visit wouldn't hurt either. Though the Wine Tycoon was a bit scary, y/n could have pleasant conversations with him.
When y/n finally landed, she stumbled and nearly fell over but managed maintain her balance.
Now she just had to leave the harbor!
~~~ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ•°*
It wasn't as easy as she thought it'd be.
She ran into a ton of geovishaps and they all insisted on chasing her into Mondstadt.
You can imagine Diluc's surprise when he spotted y/n sprinting past the Winery, screaming bloody murder with geovishaps relentlessly chasing after her.
He wanted in since as the screaming girl jumped into a tree to escape the creatures, shouting profanities as they continued trying to kill her.
Y/n was clinging to the branch she was on for dear life, eyes welling up with tears.
Usually she'd just scream at the top of her lungs until a sleepy Ayumu wandered over to help her but he wasn't here.
Nor was Keqing who would come running in at the perfect moment to rescue her.
'I'm actually going to die-'
Ta-da~! Diluc's here!
(I imagined that in his voice as I was typing it and I'm gonna cry-)
Y/n watched in amazement as the claymore wielding angel beat the 💩 put of those annoying vishaps until they scurried away like the little 🐱ies they were.(Pardon my language)
Diluc looked up at the violently shaking y/n with his usual calm and pretty neutral look, "Are you alright?"
"Y-Yeah, I'm fine-" y/n said, nearly passing out from relief. She managed to stay concious but she accidentally let go of the branch and fell with a shriek.
Diluc was able to catch her in time, y/n clinging to him like a frightened cat.
"You need to be more careful." he sighed heavily, relieved that the idiot didn't hit her head on the ground.
"Mhm, yeah, I'll do that-" y/n wheezed as the man set her down, watching as she dusted herself off and checked to make sure Ningguang's letter was still there, "Erm... could you walk me to the City? I don't want to get attacked by hilichurls..."
"I was heading there anyways." Diluc replied, unintentionally sounding exasperated, "So, what brings you to Mondstadt? Not planning on getting wasted like last time, I hope."
Y/n chuckled, embarrassed as she recalled her last visit to Mondstadt.
She had drank too much after visiting Angel's Share. A couple of people were having a drinking contest, the reward being ten thousand mora and y/n did need a little extra money...
In the end, she ended up winning but passed out. Diluc, being a gentleman, allowed idiot to stay at his place since her own home was all the way in Liyue and there was no way her drunk behind would get there without getting killed.
"Just delivering a message..." y/n replied wearily, "Though... I might stop by the tavern for a drink or two to wind down. I've been running around all day..."
Diluc frowned, "That's fine. Just don't drink too much like you did last time."
"Heh, I'll keep that in mind." y/n exclaimed, smiling brightly.
Diluc made a 'hm' noise in return.
The rest of the walk, the two of them talked about nothing in particular. It was a nice break from the hectic antics y/n had encountered on her way over, though.
Y/n felt at ease despite Diluc's cold outward appearance and Diluc found the jumpy swordswoman nice to be around.
"Will you be alright from here?" Diluc asked once they got to the city of Mondstadt, the duo standing by the fountain together.
"I will! Thank you very much, Master Diluc!" y/n chirped with a smile.
Diluc simply nodded and bid the young lady farewell as she ran off in a hurry.
Y/n made it to the Favonius Headquarters rather quickly, entering Jean's office with a, "H-Hello, I have a letter for Grand Master Jean from-"
Y/n stopped talking as soon as she realized there was nobody else in the room aside from everyone's favorite Calvary Captain who seemed to be working on something.
When he spotted y/n, his one visible eye brightened a little, "What a pleasant surprise! I wasn't expecting to See you here, y/n!"
"Kaeya!" y/n exclaimed as she entered the office, "Is the Grand Master not here right now?"
"She's off taking a break. Did you need something from her?" Kaeya replied and y/n shook her head.
"No, I just needed to deliver a message to her from the Tianquan." y/n said simply, fishing for the note in her bag before pulling it out.
"I see, I could give it to her if you'd like."
"Yes! That'd be great! I'm afraid I can't stay here much longer. I have other things to complete before the day ends." y/n said, feeling relieved, "Oh! And thank you for lending me that wonderful glider! It has helped me a lot!"
"I'm glad! Let me know if you need anything else!" Kaeya exclaimed with that charming smile of his and y/n nearly died right there.
'So handsome...!' she thought with sparkling eyes before bowing hastily, "I'll be going now! I'll send you a letter as soon as possible! Bye for now!"
Kaeya simply watched y/n with a fond expression as she sped out of the office.
'Hm... I'm gonna grab some dandelion wine before I return home!' y/n decided as she left the Knights' Headquarters.
She changed her path so she was heading towards Angel's Share, eager to fetch a bottle of wine to hopefully share with Ningguang, Keqing or Ganyu.
Maybe she'd buy more than one and bring it along with her to the Crux as a gift for Beidou and her crew since they had been the ones to get her to the Harbor after her little boat left Guyun Stone Forest.
She didn't notice how Diluc's expression became less cold when she entered the tavern and wandered to the bar.
"Good Evening, Diluc!" y/n greeted, "I'd like one glass of dandelion wine! Oh yeah, and three bottles for the road!"
Diluc raised a brow, "You don't plan on drinking all of those on your own, right?"
Y/n shook her head, "I plan on sharing!"
Diluc nodded and y/n stayed at the tavern for a little, enjoying her dandelion wine before laying for her drink and the bottles and leaving.
As she was leaving Mondstadt, she spotted Sucrose. Albedo's assistant.
"Ah! Sucrose!" y/n exclaimed, startling the female as she hurried over.
Sucrose immediately recognized her as the woman Albedo often sketched pictures of. Haha, what a simp.
"I hope you don't mind but could you give this to Albedo?" y/n asked, snapping Sucrose out of her daze.
"O-Of course!" she stammered.
"Thank you so much, I have to get going now-" y/n said quickly then bowed, "Have a wonderful evening, Miss Sucrose!"
And with that, y/n sprinted away.
~~~ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ•°*
After dropping all her things off back at her house, y/n hopped in a boat and let the waves carry it to Guyun Stone Forest.
She simply relaxed, staring up at the darkening sky with soft e/c eyes.
"How has your week been?" she asked.
No reply as usual.
"Ah, well, mine has been alright. I hope you don't mind me talking about it."
Y/n began talking about how her week, being sure to go into detail to paint a clear image for whoever was listening.
Though she wasn't aware, there was indeed someone listening. They listened to her talk about her week, wishing they could give her a sign that she wasn't just talking to herself.
They wished they could've been there to catch her when she fainted.
They wished they could've been there to prevent that blond traveler and the pixie she spoke of from dragging her along.
They wished they could've helped her with her work so she could rest.
They wished the could've been there to give her all her favorite food and comfort her during the so called "Shark week" that occurred a few days prior.
It would not be possible.
So all they could do was listen.
Listen and gently push the boat back towards the harbor when y/n finally drifted off to sleep.
'Goodnight, y/n.' they thought as the boat slowly drifted away, 'Please visit again.'
As soon as the boat was out of their reach, the being was lonely once more.
All they could do was wait till the next week for y/n to return once more.
Wait while imagining a wonderful world where they could be there for y/n.
