"So?!" Mina asked, sitting on Kirishima's desk the moment she came into the classroom. They were both pretty early, Bakugou and Kira hadn't even showed up yet.

"Oh uh hi Mina!" Kirishima smiled up at her. "So what?" He asked in confusion, glancing over at Jirou. Who had just walked over with Mina.

"So how did it go?! You went over to Study with Kira and Bakugou right?!" Mina asked, kicking her legs.

"Oh..." Kirishima said, thinking about last night. "Actually it was pretty... Nice. I had a good time." He said with a smile. He wished he could tell his friends about what Bakugou said about Midoriya. He wished he could make them understand everything he's been through.

But Bakugou specifically told him not to. There was no way Kirishima was going to break his trust, especially not RIGHT after he confided in him.

But... Bakugou never said Kirishima couldn't tell anyone about what happened before that conversation. Bakugou never said he couldn't tell them about how calm he had been. Or how he was an excellent cook.

"Really?" Mina raised her eyebrows. "What about Bakugou? He was there right?"

"Yeah totally. He was actually pretty helpful, barely even yelled." Kirishima shrugged. "It was pretty nice."

"Helpful?"

"Didn't yelled?"
Both girls asked, looking at each other.

"Really?" Mina asked. "Like you're not just saying that to make sure we don't feel bad about you not being in our groups?"

"Or to make us like Bakugou more?"
Jirou asked with a frown.

"You think I'm lying?" Kirishima asked, mildly hurt by the accusation.

"No..." Mina said looking away. "But you gotta admit, it's unexpected."

"Yeah I was pretty surprised too. But they're both actually pretty great people." Kirishima said with a smile. "And they're really smart."

"Well we already knew Kira was smart." Jirou said with a smile. "I don't know who's smarter, her or Yayorozu. God I already feel smarter after her tutoring. Hey where is she? Is Momo here yet?"

"Yeah, and we all worked great together. We watched a documentary while eating first, then we started on research for the paper." Kirishima smiled and looked down.

"Wow, sounds nice and Bakugou being calm? That's crazy." Mina said, putting a finger to her mouth. "So what's the scoop? Are they an item or not?"

"Oh uh... Sorry Mina. I forgot to ask." Kirishima said, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"Oh come on!" She whined. "You had one job!"

"Sorry, I didn't come up! And I forgot about it. But I really don't think they are." He shrugged. "I mean they obviously care for each other, but they didn't even touch each other all night."

"Did they flirt?" Mina pressed.

"Not really, just picked on each other. There was one time that he yelled at her for not eating right." Kirishima remembered.

"He's trying to control what she eats?" Mina asked in disgust, immediately thinking of the worse possible interpretation.

"No no, he yelled at her when she said she had only eaten ice cream all day. Then he gave her a bigger bowl of food." He shrugged. "He just seemed concerned."

"Oh... Well that's actually kinda sweet." Mina said with a frown. "God, you have to ask them for me!" She said with a pout.
"Please?"

Kirishima blushed a little and looked away.
"I'll try to remember it."

"Sup sparky!" Kira said practically tackling Bakugou from behind.

"AH OFF OF ME!!!" He yelled ducking away from her. "You complain all the time about me not calling people by their name!!! Why do you keep calling me these stupid nicknames?!" Bakugou said dodging her again when she tried to poke at him.

"Fine!" Kira groaned with a pout then it faded.

"Hi Katsuki~" She flirted with a sly grin and a batting of her eyelashes. "Is that better?"

He stared at her for a second, just long enough for his face to get red. Then he glared. "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"

'Cute.' Kira thought, but she just cackled and leaned against him.
"I'm fucking tuckered bro." She whined.

"Tuckered?! The the actual fuck does that mean?" He shoved her off.

"It means I'm gonna need to swipe some coffee from the teachers lounge." She nodded over. "Wanna be my lookout?"

"Wanna get detention?" Bakugou scoffed back. "For cheap coffee?"

"Nah, Aizawa has the good stuff. I know where to find it." She said with a grin.

"You're on your own. Moron." He said, shoving her face backwards by her forehead.

"Hey did you bring you glasses?" Kira asked, pointing at his bag.

He squn around with a glare and looked around frantically to make sure they were alone. "Shut the fuck up." He hissed at her. "Why the hell would I bring them here?!"

Kira shrugged with a smile. "I don't know. They look cute on you, that's all." She said with a huge grin. Kira was starting to realize that Bakugou was actually very fun to flirt with.

He stared at her, face red from embarrassment. "Why- what- why is she acting like this?! I'm not... She called me cute?! I'm not cute!!!! She's cute- NO!!! I can't! I... Hate her! Yeah that's it!"

Kira giggled and covered her mouth with a snort.

"SHUT UP!!! STOP SAYING WEIRD SHIT!!"
He yelled at her, shoving his hands in his pockets and stomping away. "She's laughing - it was a joke... It was a joke... Calm down Katsuki."

Kira laughed again as he continued to scream at her. Covering her mouth, but she could feel how warm her cheeks were.

Why did she like this? Why did she enjoy teasing and flirting with him?

Kira didn't have much experience with friends, but she was pretty sure this feeling she had wasn't completely platonic. This heart of her beating a little too fast. Her face getting a little too red. The feelings she had were unknown to her.

But Kira did what she always did with the unknown.

She ignored it.

"STOP FUCKING LAUGHING BITCH!!!" He yelled at her. "Whatever she's doing she needs to stop. Like right now. If she keeps this up I don't know what I'll do... But I don't want her to stop. I want her to say my name again."

"Fine!" Kira said with a smile. "Come on Katsuki, we're almost late."

"Stop... You can't call me that. It's annoying."
Bakugou said with a frown. "It's adorable."

"WHAT do you think you're doing?" Mrs Bakugou said as her son tried to rush past her into his room.

He rolled his eyes and turned. Normally he'd try to sneak past his mom and hide out in his room until dinner, but there were days when she caught him. "Going to my room. I have homework." He lied. He didn't have homework, at least not any he had to do right now.

"Would it kill you to say hello to your mother?" Mrs Bakugou asked, sipping from her tea.

"Hello mother." Katsuki said with an eyeroll. "Can I go now."

"Fine." Mrs Bakugou said. Katsuki rolled his eyes and started to walk away. "Oh wait, I'm going to need your help cooking this weekend."

Katsuki turned, his nose scrunched up in confusion. "Why?" He asked.

"Because, we invited the Midoriya's over. It's been so long since I've talked to Inko." Mrs Bakugou sighed.

"W-what?" Bakugou snapped. "Both of them?"

"Yes?" Mrs Bakugou asked with an eyebrow raised. "Is there a problem? What? Are you and Midoriya fighting again? Come on Katsuki you know the boy is sensitive."

Bakugou rolled his eyes. But nodded. "We just haven't talked in a while." He said honestly. Now that Midoriya wasn't his only friend... Maybe he could start to let his mom in on the fact that they didn't actually like each other.

Mrs Bakugou sighed and set her cup down. "Katsuki. I know you're happy to have other friends, but that doesn't mean you can just throw Midoriya aside. You've known each other since you were toddlers -"

"I didn't throw him aside." Bakugou sighed. "He just hangs out with this big group of people most of the time." He said honestly. Mixing the truth with half truths. "And they don't really like me."

"Well then maybe this Saturday will be good for you two. Have some one on one time with each other, maybe talk about it." His mother advised. She meant the best, really she did.

But she truly just didn't know about how Midoriya actually was and the green haired demon had her so wrapped around his finger. Even if Bakugou DID tell her about how he really was, she probably wouldn't believe him. She had seen the 'Innocent' boy grow up.

She couldn't comprehend that the sweet little boy who used to give her and his mom tiny clover flowers at the park grew up to be incredibly unstable.

"I can't though, I have plans." Bakugou lied.

"Plans?" His mom raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, me Kira and another... Friend are still working on that project. We were gonna finish it Saturday." Bakugou hesitated before calling Kirishima his friend. He was still nervous about it, still unsure. Despite the fact that he poured his heart out to the boy just a few days ago.

"Well you can't miss this!" His mom said. "I want the whole family here!"

"Fine... then..." Katsuki glanced up. "Can Kira come over too then?" He asked his mom.

Mrs Bakugou scoffed "What about Izuku?" She crossed her arms. "What's he supposed to do while you two study?"

"We won't study, if anything we can just get what we need to do finished before Deku gets here.." Katsuki shoved his hands in his pockets. "Please?"

"How do they get along?" Mrs Bakugou asked. "You said you two don't hang out anymore. Is that because of your new friends?!"

"No... Kira and Deku get along just fine. Actually they... They get along just as well as me and Deku do." Katsuki said. Technically Kira and Midoriya did get along just as well as Bakugou and Midoriya did...

They got along horribly. But Bakugou was willing to lie his way out of a night alone in his room with Deku.

"Really?" His mom asked, then she smiled. "Both Izuku and Kira are such sweethearts." She sighed. "You're very lucky to have two very nice friends."

Katsuki sighed and ran a hand through his hair. Her words were nice enough, but it was her tone. Her subtle implications.

Like he didn't deserve them.

"Yeah... I know." He said, looking away. At the ground. "Can she come?"

"Yes, she can." Mrs Bakugou nodded. "I like her, she seems very... Mature. And very pretty."

"Yeah whatever." Katsuki said, rolling his eyes. "Don't be fucking weird."

"Don't curse at me Katsuki!" He mom snapped.

"Whatever old hag." He grumbled. I'm going to go do my damn homework now!! So don't bother me!!!"

"Don't yell, you brat!! Your father is asleep!"
His mom yelled at him. Bakugou groaned and stomped up the stairs to his room. He shoved open the door to his room, walking past the sign on his door: 'Warning, explosive awesomeness inside.'

He was given the sign for his birthday when he was very young. It had been there forever, and he couldn't bring himself to take the thing down. He walked in and just threw himself in his bed, covering his eyes with the palms of his hands.

Why did the universe have to torture him like this? Why did she have to invite him over?! Why couldn't he tell her everything?

He didn't know what he was going to do if Kira couldn't come. But he highly doubted she would miss it. Kira rarely had plans that weren't with him, and she understood him and Midoriya's relationship.

How did she though?

He wondered, arms flopping to either side of his body as he stared up at his popcorn ceiling.

She always just knew. It was kinda odd when he actually thought about it. He never had to explain to her why he hated Midoriya.

She knew he was fake and annoying, she probably just picked up his tendencies to bully him along the way. Kira was smart, and she was damn good at reading people.

Bakugou wished he had her talents. He sighed and rubbed his eyes.

"Katsuki~"

The way Kira said his name that day in the hallway had been stuck in his head for a while. Over and over again. He knew she was just picking on him but damn... He couldn't get her out of his head.

He sat up suddenly and stalked towards his desk. Grabbing a case and walking over to his dresser. He took out the contraption of plastic and glass. Something he'd hated ever since he was a kid.

He looked at himself in his small mirror, his glasses set over his nose. His red eyes peeled out from under them. "They look cute on you."

She thought they looked cute? He hadn't had the nerve to wear them around anyone other than family until that night. He carried them around constantly, just in case. But he didn't have the courage to use them until now.

He looked at his reflection for a little bit. Taking in the features that he liked, hated and ignored. Then he snatched the glasses off and tossed them on his desk.

"What the fuck is wrong with me?"
