"Bakugou lighten up." Kira groaned from her couch. Bakugou was standing in her small kitchen area, constantly glancing at the door. "He's not gonna barge in and shoot at us."

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!" Bakugou snapped, rolling his eyes. "I'm just sitting here. I don't need to lighten up."

"Just standing with your arms crossed staring at the door." Kira said. "Kirishima will be here in like twenty minutes. And He's probably the nicest guy I know. Everything will be fine."

"Of course it will be. Why wouldn't it be?" He stalked to the couch. "What's this?" He asked as a documentary played.

"A crimson riot documentary." Kira said.

"I still don't get why you picked an old school pro." Bakugou grumbled.

"Because no one else will, because there is a ton of easy to find info on him, because he's Kirishima's idol and the guy probably knows tons about him already. Plus the guy is a solid dude. There are so many fakes now a days. You gotta appreciate the good guys like crimson." Kira said putting up a finger for every point she made.

"Fuck you." Bakugou mumbled. Because those were all good reasons to cover him. Bakugou would have wanted to do a more flashy pro. Someone who really goes out there and just... Destroys all the competition and all of the villains. But not All might or endeavor. Both would be awkward considering their relatives in the class.

"You know, you're pretty dramatic sometimes KitKat." Kira said she shoved his head away as he leaned over the back of the couch. "It was a good idea. Accept it."

"Whatever." Bakugou grumbled. "I'm fucking hungry."

"Make yourself something, I have food here." Kira said, turning her attention back to the documentary.

"You don't have anything good." Bakugou whined, going through her cabinets. But Kira soon heard him mentally compiling everything he could make and he silently started to cook.

"Alright just put- where the fuck are her pans?! How much... It won't be done until Kirishima gets here, should I make enough for him? What if he doesn't want it?"
Bakugou thought, standing still for a few moments. Then he continued. "I'll make enough... Just in case."

Kira smiled and scrolled on her phone. Paying a small amount of attention to the TV. Soon the smell of rice, eggs and chicken filled the air of Kira's apartment. Kira didn't even know she had chicken, it was probably some sort of precooked stuff.
The meal was pretty much thrown together and cooked with soy sauce, but Kira didn't have the makings of a full meal. At least not one for three people.

"They better not hate this." Bakugou thought while pushing some broccoli florets around in a pan. "When is Kirishima getting here anyways?! What if he doesn't even show..."

There was a small timid knock on the door. Kira sensed Kirishima's insecure thoughts right away. "Okay this is it right? I really hope so, otherwise I'm just knocking on some random persons door. Hey I hear something, sounds like cooking."

"IT'S OPEN!!" Kira yelled, sitting up. The door slowly opened and Kirishima stuck his head in, he saw Kira and shot her his usual toothy grin.

"Kinda thought I had the wrong place." He said honestly, stepping in. He glanced down and saw Bakugou's shoes on the ground, so he slipped his Crocs off as well.

He cautiously walked in, looking at Kira.
"Huh... She looks different. Pretty. Not Prettier but pretty in a different way Weird- oh! She's not wearing any eye makeup. That must be it. Hey is Bakugou cooking?"

"Mi casa es tu casa." Kira said, pausing the documentary in the middle of a interview scene with Riot's sister. "Bakugou's making dinner if you want some." She said, pointing her thumb over her shoulder at Bakugou. Who grumbled to himself as he turned down the stove.

"Woah... I didn't know Bakugou cooks. That's totally manly, I can barely make Mac and cheese." Kirishima thought, looking over at Bakugou as he moved a hot pan from the stove to the counter. "Sure! It smells great Bakugou!"

"Yeah well-" Bakugou suddenly paused and looked down. "WHAT YHE FUCK IS THIS?!"
He yelled, Kira glanced over from the couch.

"Oh that's just Miso." Kira said with a shrug.

"WHEN DID YOU GET A FUCKING CAT?!" Bakugou asked crouching down. "The thing came out of nowhere and attacked my foot. I could have stepped on it. I gotta be more careful."

"Uh... Last Friday I think. When I was suspended, it was being attacked by some dog, so I brought her home." Kira said with a shrug.

"Aw, that's so manly Kira!" Kirishima said, picking the kitten up as she tried to pounce on his socks. "Hey Miso." He mumbled to the cat, who just stared at him in response. Limp in his much bigger hands.

"Thanks." Kira said in response to him calling her manly. It didn't take long for her to realize at the beginning of the year that "Manly" equaled "Cool" or "Chivalrous" in Kirishima's vocabulary. "She's still pretty feisty though."

Right as she said it the small cat bit down gently on Kirishima's thumb, which he just hardened. The cat let go and let out an angry "meow" when she had no effect on him.

"Are you even allowed to have pets?!" Bakugou asked, looking at the animal with a frown.

"I don't know. But what my landlord doesn't know won't hurt him." Kira said with a shrug. Kirishima put the kitten back down and it bounded under the couch. Her favorite spot in the house. "Plus the dude practically worships my uncle. He probably wouldn't care if I burnt the place to the ground."

"So you live with your uncle?" Kirishima asked, looking around the apartment for the first time. "It's kinda small for two people."

"Not really. I live alone." Kira said with a sigh, walking to the table that Bakugou had all the bowls at. "He used to travel a lot and was never home anyways, so hes just been paying for this place for me."

"Used to... So he probably doesn't anymore. That's kinda weird, just sticking a kid in an apartment. If he traveled why not let her use his house here? Unless he doesn't have one."
Kirishima thought, but just smiled and didn't ask any of his questions out of politeness. "So you have your own place? That's cool!"

"Yeah it is sometimes. It at least means no one is gonna bother us." She shrugged and took a bowl. "Man, I haven't eaten since school the morning." She said, picking it up.

"THAT WAS HOURS AGO!!!" Bakugou yelled with a glare, pointing at her. "And you just had ice cream!!!"

"What are you? My mom?" Kira asked with an eyeroll. "I wasn't hungry."

"YOU'RE GONNA DIE IF YOU EAT LIKE THAT!!" Bakugou snapped, he took her bowl out of her hands and replaced it with one significantly more full. "She doesn't take great care of herself sometimes. All she eats is junk food and energy drinks. I'll make sure she eats better, even if it means forcing good food down her throat."

'Wow, that's a little much. But I guess it's the thought that counts. Haha the 'thought?' Kira almost smiled at her own mental joke. But she didn't.

"He seems to genuinely care about her, in his own way. It's kinda... Sweet, like at the sports festival when she was bleeding. Wow, maybe they are dating." Kirishima looked between the two of them. He waited for Bakugou to pick a bowl before he did. So he ended up with the last one.

"You're a fucking idiot you know that?" Bakugou snapped, marching to the couch. "Start this over! I wasn't paying attention!!" He yelled, grabbing the remote.

"Ignore him, he's just hangry." Kira said to Kirishima with a smile.

"DON'T TALK ABOUT ME BEHIND MY BACK!!" Bakugou yelled from the couch.

"Don't turn your back on me then!" Kira snapped back. "Have you watched 'The Crimson Cape'? The Riot documentary?" Kira asked Kirishima as she walked after Bakugou.

"Like a million times!"
"Yeah totally! Only Like once or twice though." The boy said, shying away from fully expressing his love for the hero.

Kira sat on the floor by the coffee table, right infront of the couch. Miso jumped on her thigh and bit at the hem of her cropped shirt. Kirishima sat at the far right of the couch, Bakugou sat on the left. There was a comfortable distance between the two.

Kirishima once again glanced around. He noted the crimson riot and pro hero books on the coffee table. All had library tags on them. He also saw a computer and a notebook. "Okay so they're taking the project seriously. They're prepared to do research! Though I should have expected that- WAIT!!! they're both top students! I'm in a group with the girl who scored number one in the practice test!"

Kira could feel Kirishima get happy and calmed. Any nerves he had from this big project melted away. "We'll totally have this covered, I definitely lucked out didn't I?!"
He thought happily. Watching the documentary like it was his first time.
