Armor covered Nova's shoulder. Protecting the area she had just popped back into socket.

Bakugo stared at her for a few moments with a very shocked expression. As if he had never in his life expected to see someone use their quirk to manually fix a dislocated shoulder. Without flinching either.

Nova used this to her advantage. She ran and then soared, metal plates floated and she jumped in them. Suddenly gaining the higher ground. She touched one and it formed a small staff. Her fingers wrapped around it as it was still Morphing its forms.
She lept over Bakugo and swung. Hitting him in the shoulder.

The metal plates fell to the ground as Nova went into the offensive. Swinging her staff over and over. Suddenly Bakugo was forced to defend himself from her attacks. Dodging and trying to blow her away with his explosions. But metal was everywhere, his hands hit it when he aimed a blow, his explosions were blocked by it and Nova swung it at every opening she got.

With her quirk Nova was able to hold up metal without use of her arms. Making herself both a sword and shield. Deadly ones at that.

Nova kept her breathing even and calm. She focused on her goal. She wanted to win this.

"You really think we were gonna let you get anywhere close to winning our school festival?"

She felt fear still... Beating Bakugo down. She felt as though the only way to get his voice out of her head was to win. It was the only way to free herself from the shackles he placed on her mind. Every hit she heard his voice.

There was another explosion, aimed at her gut the moment Bakugo saw an opening under her arms. He had been holding off on his explosions, building up one big enough to blast her and her weapons away from him.

The attack hit it's mark. The explosion took up all of Nova's vision. She closed her eyes tightly as she was blown backwards, but she gripped her staff in a tight hold. Feeling as it shifted shape again under her command. She hit the ground several paces away with a heavy thud. Body rolling again until she was anchored in place with a chain.

The other side was connected to Bakugou. Wrapped around his wrist. She pulled him after her, a leash around his arm. When he got close enough he stumbled and stepped on a metal panel she had left on the ground. It popped up like a steel trap and wrapped around his leg.

Suddenly Nova pushed him to the side, her chain whipping around as she forced Bakugo towards every peice of metal she had left. Trapping every inch of him. Chains nailed to the floor, metal wrapped heavily around his legs. A plate snapped over his mouth like a muzzle. Bakugo wraithed on the ground, explosions went off in his hands but the metal changed shape when broken, or was replaced immediately when destroyed.

Both hands were attacked to chains that Nova bolted to the ground, he pulled with wrath in his eyes but his shouts and screams were muffled. Nova didn't want to hear it. His legs were locked up. Joints unable to bend.

He was completely restrained.

"Bakugo. Can you move?" Midnight asked as though the boy could answer. He struggled harder, screaming like an animal as he pulled his body in every direction. It took a huge amount of concentration on Nova's part to keep him restrained. If her mind slipped he'd chip away at the metal she had placed around him.

There was a few seconds as the judges waited to see if he could free himself. And then suddenly the buzzer went off.

"BAKUGO KATSUKI IS COMPLETELY RESTRAINED!!! THE MATCH GOES TO NOVA KURAYAMI!!"

He ran.

Until he couldn't.

He took the train, his heart pounding just the same as it had been. Tenya's mind could only think of all the possibilities.

His mother had called, all she knew was that there was a villain attack on his brother  Tensei. She was contacted by the hospital. Every pro had several emergency contacts that the police could find either in their system or on the pros person. On a band or necklace.

Iida panted, holding onto a rail on the train as it sped towards Hosu. He stood infront of the door, waiting to arrive was absolute torture. What could have happened? His brother always faught alongside his sidekicks. How could no one have known where he was or who he was fighting? Did he go off on his own? His brother rarely did that... Was he off duty? No. He had told Tenya he was working today, that's why he couldn't come to the festival.

What happened?! He was hurt... But how? His mother I've the phone said it was bad. He was in the operating room when she called Tenya. She called their father too, but he had to stay home with the others. Tenya imagined his whole family was on edge just as badly as he was.

The sports festival was completely forgotten. It had seemed so big, so important. Now it seemed completely insignificant. He hardly remembered it at all, seemed like his fight with Nova was years ago.

After that one phone call... Everything changed.

"UA's most controversial sports festival yet moves into its finals! Everyone in on edge waiting to see who will pull up in top."

Tenya had been in some type of trance before he was pulled out of it by the droning of a news reporter.

There was a boy standing beside him. Wearing a simple blue jacket, looking down at his phone as it showed the news. The volume up just loud enough for himself and those right next to him to hear.

Iida glanced over at his phone. He knew it was impolite, but in his haste he had almost forgotten about his classmates...

"Hey... You were at the festival weren't you?"

Iida must've leaned a little too close to the boy watching in his phone. Catching his attention.

"Oh- um... Yes." Iida nodded stiffly. "I'm Tenya Iida."

"Right... What are you doing here?" The boy asked with a curious frown. He had white hair and eyes that were an interesting yellow in color.

"I have a... Family situation i need to tend too. In Hosu." Iida said. He glanced down at the phone that the stranger was still holding, though he seemed to no longer be paying attention. "May I ask... Who the finalists are?"

"Oh. It's the boy with the ice and fire. Todoroki I think, and um... Kurayami. The girl you were fighting." He held up the phone to show Tenya. There was a small break before the final match, where it showed a commentator from a random news outlet talking about the festival.

He was right, this festival was one of the most controversial and eventful festivals of UA's history. Nova's mere presence insured that.

The train suddenly shook as it came to a stop. As if on que a phone call from a saved contact popped up on the stranger's phone; 'Momma'

Iida backed away and gave the stranger a small nod in thanks. Before rushing out the moment the doors opened.

He ran, his mind straying from his brother to the sports festival finals...

Kurayami vs Todoroki...

A/N: also I find it funny that I get comments about certain things possibly being foreshadowing so often...

So now when I actually want to foreshadow I have to make it like... So subtle... And you miss it. Like..

Nova's Dad's hair being chopped off in the flashback was a small... Wink at Nova losing her own.

Does that count as foreshadowing? Or was it too small?
