Ugly hats and long coats were everywhere.

It was graduation day.

After three and a half long hard years of training, battles, laughter and exams... The legendary class 3-A was finally graduating.

All the students in their year were older than they ought to have been. It was one of the latest graduating classes UA had ever seen. Their late graduation was one of the few reminders of the famous war with the league of villains.

There were other small reminders... Battle scars, stories told to inspire the freshmen, statutes and missing quirks.

But life had moved on.

Aside from... The occasional sleepless nights... Kira rarely thought of the horrors she faced throughout her first year. Rather she dwelled on the good and friendships she had made.

"Can you help me clip this ugly hat on Kira??" Mina Ashido whined. She had the same pink hair. The same black and yellow eyes. She was the same lively young girl she had been just more... Mature. She held herself in a way that made her seem taller. Her hands faded from pink to brown from using her quirk so much over the years. Other than those though, her skin was just as vibrant as ever.

"Alright hold still." Kira said, helping her clip her hat with Bobby pins after she tucked it to make it look less horrifically ugly.

Kira's own hair was down to her back now. She hadn't cut it since the war. It was long and soft, but often unruly. Currently pulled back in a braid to keep it neat. She frowned in concentration as she helped her friend prepare for their class pictures.

Kira had a few extra fabrics hanging around her neck. Symbolizing her status as Valedictorian. It had been a close call though, she barely beat Momo for it. She almost gave it up, knowing how much it mattered to the other girl. But Bakugou wouldn't have ever let her do something like that.

"You doing a speech?" He asked, looking up at her as she walked back to him after finishing with Mina.

"Maybe." She shrugged, sitting down and playing with his hair. Her fingers delicately weaving locks of it into two small braids.

"I can't wait to get out of this place." He said with a grumble. "Start an agency with Riot and blow this class outta the water. Those old pros won't know what hit em."

"I've been here so long... Living with all these people... It feels weird knowing I'm leaving it all... That we're going our separate ways."

His thoughts were cutely sentimental. Kira smiled softly and tuned them out.

After years of training, Kira actually had the ability to weaken her quirk on command. She could now completely dim thoughts without trying much. And even do the opposite, purposefully increase her range and allow more in. Like opening or closing an eye.

"I can't wait to be your sidekick." Kira giggled.

"I still don't see why you need to go to college. You already fucking know everything." Bakugou scoffed.

"You can always learn more. It's a good school. Besides I bet I can graduate in half the time it would usually take. Until then I'll work with you part time as a sidekick and then be a full fledged pro when I get my a degree." She shrugged. "It'll be fun."

"Yeah yeah. You and ponytail and Wednesday can keep on hitting those books. While I go out and hit the actual bad guys." Bakugou smirked.

"Come on you two!" Kaminari said, waving them over with the hand that wasn't clasped in Jirou's. "We're about to head out! We only have an hour for pictures!" He called.

His hair was also longer, though it still had its signature bolt in it. He had added a few earrings thanks to Mina's piercing gun. Jirou was the same, except her hair was shorter now than it had been.

"Yeah love birds. Stop holding all of us back!" Shinsou called them. He looked like a full-fledged Aizawa now. Long hair, tired eyes. Crazy smile. All of it, even though Kira had gotten them both DNA tested... There was no actual blood relation between the two.

"You're just jealous because Tammy isn't in our class." Kira teased, walking with Bakugou towards the bus.

"Everyone please sit in an orderly fashion!!" Iida lectured them. "And quickly!!! We're behind schedule!!"

Iida was still pretty much the same. Aside from the fact that he grew several inches taller and just as many wider since freshman year. He was built like a tank, but a thousand times faster.

"Shut up four eyes." Bakugou said with a glare and a smirk. Just as he had been doing since they first met. But now he said it with a certain fondness.

"Don't tell him to shut up. Can you please behave yourselves for the last day I'm in charge of you?" Aizawa asked from the front seat next to the driver. Despite his newly acquired grey hairs that may or may not be their fault, and the new prosthetic leg and eye. He was still the same man who had pulled Kira from the fire all those years ago.

He was still his grumpy self, with a regrettably mushy heart.

"Jesus Christ I'm going to miss this... At this point I'm not even sure if I want another class next year... Nothing could actually replace these idiots. I should have known keeping the same class until graduation was a bad idea."

Kira tuned in to his thoughts and smiled softly. Patting his shoulder as she walked by. Giving him a knowing smile.

Besides it's not like he'd be getting rid of them. Midoriya was already planning on getting his teaching license. And half the class was planning on signing in to teach the occasional hero course class when necessary. While they wouldn't be official teachers, they could be invited in to help training.

They already did it with the freshmen half the time. Why not do it while they were Pros?

"I'm so nervouss!!"

"I can't believe I actually made it this far... I'm gonna be a real pro soon! I'm so excited!"

"Cant... This class... So... Lucky..."

Kira sat down in the seat in front of Todoroki. The boy had hair almost as long as hers tied into a ponytail, and his signature scar over his eye.

"I'm glad they decided to let you walk with us." She smiled. "It's just like the first year, well except Shinsou is here."

Todoroki wasn't an official member of Class 3-A. Since he had been replaced by Shinso. Instead he was an online student. Where he did most of his classes online while traveling. First it was because of his community service after the war. Then it was because he had to help his family in managing several of their affairs. It just turned out to be easier for him.

But he still lives in the dorms and participated in training like everyone else. Making their class unofficially 21 students.

"Which means it's better." Shinsou said, crossing his arms.

"Better than 3-B that's for sure." Bakugou smirked and crossed his arms. "Biggest class,  best grades, valedictorian. We're officially the best UA class."

"Don't tell me you're STILL into that whole rivalry thing." Uraraka said with a frown. "I thought after the war we were over all of that?"

She still looked pretty much the same. The same bright smile that lit up everyone's life. Same blushing cheeks and hopeful eyes. Now she just had an overpowered quirk with the fighting ferocity of an angry tiger.

"Right? Come on Baku-bro! That's so unmanly!" Kirishima grinned. His hair spiked up just the same as the first time Kira saw him. Some people never change, and aside from a few extra training scars Kirishima definitely was the same old sunshine he always had been.

"Kacchan has hated them since the prank war last year, you know when they snuck in and filled his room with rubber ducks?" Midoriya said with a smile.

Midoriya was now an actual normal human being. That's right, it only took a traumatizing life event for him to get his act together. He was calm, nice, helpful and even trying to date other people. Though he still seemed to have some small lingering feelings for Bakugou, Kira figured he probably always would. But he understood perfectly that... Is just wasn't going to happen. And he was okay with that.

He was over the tears and the petty bullying. He was happy and a close friend of Bakugou's.

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO TALK ABOUT THE FUCKING DUCKS!!!" Katsuki snapped.

"Right sorry." Izuku laughed.

"It's important that we remain calm and collected today. It would be best to not mention the ducks." Momo said softly.

Kira couldn't believe that she went through middle school and highschool with Momo, AND was accepted into the same University as the girl. Kira couldn't believe she hadn't gotten along with her in middle school. Not when she was such a good friend to her now. Same with Iida. And all do her classmates.

Things have changed so much since middle school. And yet so much was exactly the same.

Bakugou yelling at people.

Momo's calmness, Uraraka's sweetness. Iida's stiff rule following behaviors.

Kirishima still shined Brighter than any of them. Even Aoyama, who was still pretending to be french. Complete with a small mustache that he often attempted to twirl.

Sato still baked and Ojiro still walked around barefoot. Hagakure still liked him and he still liked her. Though neither ever made a move.

Tokoyomi still watched Sophia the first, but recently he'd been watching it with Kouda. Who still wrote. But he moved on from fanfictions more or less. Kira caught wind of a new storm he was writing. A real one.

About them.

Sero was still chill and best friends with Denki. Who was still unreadable and yet completely loveable.

Shoji was still the rock, keeping their class calm in hard situations. But he no longer worse a mask to hide his scars. He still was doing all he could to help other heteromorphs across Japan. Prepared to be stationed in a remote town close to where he was born.

Tsu was still as logical as ever, and still was insecure about cleaning her stomach around other people.

Everything was still... The same as it had been since the very beginning. And Kira hoped that some of these things would never actually change. That she'd still hang out with these people. She'd still fight beside them. Argue with them. Laugh with them.

She knew graduation wouldn't change everything. Instead it was giving them all a chance to finally fulfill their dreams. After years of training hard and waiting and studying and practicing...

They were finally going to be heroes.

The greatest heroes in the world.
