Trigger warning: She's kidnapped so... Bad things are gonna happen.
........

Kira was leaning back with her eyes closed as the door creaked open. She knew it wasn't Zane. He had just left five minutes ago. The moment the person walked in her anxiety spiked but she tried to stay calm.

The door shut behind him. "We're gonna have a talk kid." Someone walked up. Opening the lock on the door to Kira's cell.

"What makes you think I know anything? I've been in here for two weeks." Kira asked, eyes still closed.

"Doesn't mean you're useless." Dabi walked up to her. "How did they find out Shoto did it?"

Her eyes opened. "You mean... They actually caught him?" She laughed a little. "Holy shit..."

Dabi narrowed his eyes. But he actually was starting to buy it. Kira was a damn good actress.

"They did. I want to know how." Dabi stated. Standing over her.

"How dumb are you? I've been gone for two weeks. I have no clue. But I'm glad they got the little bastard." Kira glared at him. Dabi stared down at her with Icy blue eyes. She felt like they could see into her very soul.

"I don't know... But I feel like it had something to do with you. Did you leave a clue behind? Maybe you got Mommy's boy or birdbrain to send a message out." Dabi thought. Kira was terrified that he was actually close. That he somehow knew she was involved. Even from her cell.

Kira scoffed. Choking down her fear. She was an actress, and she had to be one. "Zane is an okay person. But we both know he lacks the spine for that sorta thing. And Hawks is such a dirty bitch i wouldn't trust him to do anything. As for a clue... How the hell would I do that huh?"

He stared at her for a second. Thinking. Staring at her and contemplating her response.

Then he kicked her. Right in the side, kicking her sore ribs. Kira coughed and turned to her opposite side, still coughing. The dull pain that had been in her ribs increased significantly. "Damn it man." She coughed. "The hell was that for?"

"Tell me about Hawks." He bent closer. Not caring much about her pain. Dabi crouched over her and grabbed her shoulder. Turning her around again.

"Really? Hitting kids? The apple doesn't-"

Dabi cut off her rude remark about his family by slapping her across the face. Which was bad on its own, but he hit her on her left side. Targeting her injuries.

Kira coughed again. "Okay that one I may have deserved." She admitted. The pain in her face made her head spin.

"This doesn't have to be hard. Cut the sass." Dabi snapped. "I don't find much amusement in hurting people. Especially kids. But you are one of the last people on this earth I care about. So I won't hesitate to hurt you for information."

Kira didn't say anything so he gripped her jaw. "Tell me about Hawks. You've met him before right? Weird how you didn't pick up on the fact he was betraying the heroes. Unless of course he isn't."

Kira shook her head. "I met him months ago. I'm assuming him joining you is a recent development. Not like he just goes around thinking about how he's a dirt bag. I almost trusted him at first, though he did seem a little off."

"Off how?" Dabi asked Narrowing his eyes.

"Enthusiastic about everything. Except when I asked about his job. Seemed more concerned with how I shot down stain." Kira shrugging.

Dabi stared at her. "I don't believe you. I think you're covering for him."

"Why the hell would I do that?"

He hit her again. Kira's face felt like it was on fire. Then he grabbed her arm. The broken one. Holding it with loose pressure as a warning. "I don't believe you." He repeated.

"Why would I cover for him when he watched Oshita tear me apart huh?! Even if he was an actual hero. Why would I support one who was willing to watch me die?" Kira asked, her head jerking as her body tried to process her pain. She felt like throwing up. Her face burning.

"Heroes watch people all die the time." Dabi shrugged. "Besides remember that whole speech you made?" He squeezed her cheeks and she grunted. Pain flaring. "You don't live for yourself... You're so determined to put yourself aside for others... It's almost pathetic."

"I wouldn't do that for a traitor. Believe it or not I don't support all the heroes just because they're pros. I support their side in spite of people like hawks." Kira whispered. "He's a showboat. Became a pro for the attention. And because it was a gateway out of his shitty life. He doesn't need it anymore so he's onto the next thing. Which is this apparently. I can't guarantee he won't jump ship if things get tough. Be there's no way in hell he had loyalties to us."

Dabi stared at her and then sighed. "I can't tell if she's telling the truth of if she's just really good at making herself convincing. But she had a point. Why would she protect a man willing to watch her die?"

"Alright then. UA. Tell me about that." He decided to move on.

Kira frowned. "What?"

"Whose the most likely to find out what happened to you? That Shoto was involved." Dabi asked.

"Probably a detective?" Kira suggested.

"It wasn't a detective. It has to be someone in that damn school." Dabi whispered. "You got a boyfriend or something? Makes sense if someone close to you found out."

"I'm not telling you shit about UA." Kira snapped. "No matter how insignificant."

"Bet it's that crazy explodo boy." He mumbled. "He's smarter than he lets on. Likes you a lot too. If he found out... He might know too much more." Dabi said, his grip on Kira's arm tightening. She grit her teeth and didn't say a word.

He wasn't even making any sense anymore. He was just angry. Angry that Shoto got captured. In reality he was angry AT Shoto. But he was out of reach.

Kira was very much within reach.

"Might have to kill them... Might have to kill them all..." He Mumbled. His grip on her arm hard enough to make her cry out.

"What do you want from me?!" Kira yelled out. Wanting him to stop.

"I don't actually know... You're right you don't know shit." Dabi chuckled. He pressed down on her arm. "It fucking pisses me off. The all powerful mindreader is useless too us. Thought you were supposed to help out with all the secrets you know."

"I-" Kira was cut off.

"Tell me something... Tell me a secret." Dabi leaned forward over her. Face hovering over her's. Her good eye widened. "Something good. About a hero. Some good blackmail."

"Go fuck yourself." Kira whispered. "I'd rather die than tell a crazy bastard like you anything."

Dabi stared at her. "Wrong answer." He mumbled. "Useless bitch." He grabbed her head and she struggled. Confused as to what he was doing. Until he ripped off the bandage over her eye.

"Hey!" Kira yelled out, struggling with her good hand waving around. He pinned it easily.

"How ugly." He Mumbled when her bandage was off. Looking at her eye. "Bet your boyfriend won't be too happy your pretty face was all scarred up."

"You're disgusting." Kira spat, tilting her head away.

"Open it." Dabi said with a smirk. "Open the eye. I want to see if it's all messed up or not."

Kira had been keeping her left eye closed tightly once it was exposed. She refused.

He slapped her. In the same spot, this time right on the jagged cuts across her face.
"Looks like you're bleeding again. My bad." He said in mock apology. "Open."

Kira complied. Opening her eye slowly. The faint light in the room burned the eye. It hadn't been exposed to light since the day it was injured.

But she could see... She could see perfectly well out of it. Dabi hummed. "Looks fine to me. Least you don't have to worry about that."

"What do you think your mother would think of you now?" Kira asked. "You've been scaring Shoto into protecting her for months... All for what?"

"I don't give a damn what she'll think of me. I'm the monster Endeavor created. She doesn't have to like me. I just want her and the others to stay alive." Dabi whispered. Staring at her scars. "I may be a sociopath or a psychopath or whatever the hell you want to call me. But I do care a little about my family."

"She would hate me if she knew what her kid had become... But I don't ever plan on seeing her in person. I'll remain a ghost while she stays a memory." He thought, looking at her wound still. Hands twitching as the urge to touch them and see her reaction hit.

He lifted his hand and then there was a light scraping sound as the door was pushed open. Bathing them in light from the hall.

Kira closed her eyes and flinched away while Dabi lazily looked over.

"What are you doing?"
