"So?! What I can't have friends? I can't hang out with anyone but you? You know you're starting to sound as crazy as Deku." Kira spat his name out like a curse.
"Take that back." Bakugou said in shock.
"No! You're not my boyfriend, you wanted to stay friends! You can't control me if you haven't even told me you loved me." She pointed at him. She seemed mad but there were tears in her eyes.
"Fine. I love you." Bakugou shrugged.
Kira stared at him. Almost like she was in shock. He stared back, face red as the words sunk in.
She hesitated but...
"I... I love you too." She whispered softly. Forgetting about what was going on before this. Forgetting why he said it in the first place. Because he said it.
I love you.
"That's..." Bakugou chuckled and shook his head. "That's pretty fucking awesome." He whispered, rubbing his neck.
"Yeah it... It kinda is." Kira smiled nervously.
"What the fuck am I doing?" Bakugou laughed and Kira did too. She rubbed her eyes and let out a bubbling little laugh.
"I love you." Kira covered her mouth in shock. Smiling broadly. "I love you."
Bakugou tackled her in a hug and she sniffled and laughed. "I fucking love you Kira Kokoa. You drive me insane and I fucking love it."
He whispered into her neck. Kissing up her neck and peppering her cheeks and forehead with kisses.
"Katsuki-" Kira laughed before he claimed her lips. He kissed her more passionately than he had before. Holding her face gently and guiding her lips with his own.
"I love you."

Hard to tell if it was a daydream or torture.
Thinking of what could have been. What she should have done. Over and over again. Replying her her mind, every time she could have taken a different step. Every different scenario that leads to a different outcome.
She shouldn't have hit Bakugou.
She should have forgiven him.
She shouldn't have walked away.
She shouldn't have left her room.
She shouldn't have left the dorms.
She should have told Naomosa she was coming.
She shouldn't have talked to Todoroki.
She could be with Katsuki right now. Snuggled up in his arms after telling him over and over how much she loved him.
She might not ever see him again.
She could have been at UA. How dumb was she? Thinking leaving campus was a good idea. She could be on her bed with Miso right now. Ready to apologize to Bakugou when morning came.
What if she died?
What if she died and the last thing she did was yell at him? She loved Bakugou with all of her heart, but he didn't know that. He had told her and she had slapped him for it.
What seemed like such a big deal in the moment seemed so insignificant now it made Kira want to laugh. It had only been about an hour, maybe less since she woke up. She wasn't sure where she was. Everything was dark, cold. She couldn't move. Couldn't see.
She could only think.
Her mind torturing her with images of what could have been. Paths she should have chosen.
There were no thoughts other than her own. Everyone was silent and it was driving her insane. There was nothing. Nothing but her. Her and her mistakes. Her and her imagination.
It was hell.

Aizawa entered the classroom. His students who had been waiting quite impatiently scrambled to their seats. He was obviously in a horrible mood and they didn't know why.
Iida's hand shot in the air. "Kokoa is unaccounted for and late!" The class representative information his teacher.
It felt like a stab in Aizawa's chest.
"I know that Iida." Aizawa snapped. His tone was sharp and rude. Normally he was stern but tired. Now he was just angry. Quick to snap at them.
Iida's mouth shut and he fell into his seat. Face red. He didn't understand why his teacher was being so harsh, he couldn't help but think he had done something to get on his bad side.
He looked down almost shamefully and adjusted his glasses.
Aizawa looked at the boy and sighed. Rubbing his face. "I'm sorry Iida." He admitted. "I've been harsh with all of you this morning. You don't deserve that."
"It's not their fault."
"He's apologizing?!" The class thought in shock. They had never seen their teacher like this.
He grabbed either side of his podium. "Kira left campus last night." He admitted. "Completely."
"What are you saying?" Iida asked nervously.
"Is she... In trouble for leaving or something?" Denki asked, almost hopefully. Like Kira had just been suspended and Aizawa was mad at her.
"She's just suspended right?" Kirishima asked with a chuckle.
Classic Kira right? Getting in trouble for a dumb but also surprisingly reasonable reason.
"I'm sorry but... She hasn't come back. Aizawa said, he looked at his students. "She ran away."
Everyone's demeanor changed as they moved to sit up more. Eyes wide, some glanced around at each other to gauge their reactions.
"Y-you're kidding... Right?" Mina asked. "Why would she do that?!"
"She left behind a note in my office saying she had to leave for an undisclosed reason. We're currently involving the police to launch a missing person investigation. But it won't be in full swing until she's been missing for a full twenty four hours."
Aizawa explained.
"So wait, she didn't even tell you why?" Ojirou asked.
"No." Aizawa answered. "Detective Naomasa is coming, we're going to ask you all a few questions. If you believe you know why she may have left I need you to speak up as soon as possible. I also want to speak with a few of you that were seen with her soon before she left."
"Is that all we can do to help?" Jirou asked. "Can't we look?"
"At this point? No." Aizawa shook his head. "But we'll see how Involved you can get later on. As of now this is a professionally investigated runaway. It's best to leave this.to the professionals."

Bakugou had sunk down in his chair. A blank look on his face. Classes were over and now if you looked out the window you could see several police officers walking around campus.
Around their dorm. Around the woods and around the gate. He didn't doubt they were all in Kira's room and the dorms. Trying to find any clue about where she might've gone and why. But there was nothing.
"It's gonna be okay Bakugou." Kirishima stood next to his desk. "Kira can take care of herself. I'm sure she has a good reason for this." He smiled nervously, but didn't seem to be convinced of this himself.
"This doesn't make sense." Bakugou whispered. "It doesn't-"
"Bakugou Katsuki. Would you come with us please?" Detective Naomasa asked, standing at the door.
Bakugou got up and shoved his hands in his pockets.

"The security footage shows both you and Kira were on the roof a few hours before she ended up leaving campus." Naomosa stated, looking through a pictures and papers. "I understand you two are very close friends."
"Y-yes..." Bakugou whispered, his voice almost breaking. "Yes we are...." His voice trailed off as he stared forward. He seemed to be in shock.
"Do you know what could have caused her to leave?" Naomosa asked.
Bakugou's head was down. Which to him screamed suspicious. But that was just how Naomosa's mind worked. He had no doubt that Bakugou was innocent. He actually assumed none of the kids were guilty of anything. He was just here to see if they knew anything important.
"This is all my fault. We got in a fight." Bakugou raised an arm to rub his eyes. The detective could now tell that he was crying.
"We yelled and shit, it was bad but..." Bakugou shook his head. "I didn't think it was bad enough to make her run away?!" He looked up and horrified watery eyes.
"It's alright Bakugou." Naomosa said, putting a hand on the boy's shoulder. "I'm sure it wasn't your fault."
"It was. I'm so dumb, I started it." Bakugou cried. "She left and said she needed some air. I was mad at her so I didn't got after her. I went to sleep instead... I should have gone after her." He whispered with a sniffle.
"We both know Kira, she's not the type to just run away from her problems like that." Naomosa reasoned.
"Well yeah but... Damn it. I still could have done something to help her if I hadn't been so fucking mad." Bakugou held his head in his hands.
That had replayed in his head dover and over again. How if he had done just a few things differently maybe she wouldn't have left. Whatever had made her leave wouldn't have happened if he had just been a good friend. Or a good whatever he was.
"I'm sorry." He whispered, rubbing his eyes.
He couldn't help but feel like this was all his fault. No matter what the detective said. Just like how he had felt with All Might...
"It's a possibility. But I really don't think she would leave because of that Bakugou." The detective reasoned again. "Plus if she put her mind to something you wouldn't have been able to stop her. You know how stubborn she is." He chuckled.
Bakugou did too and wiped his eyes. "Yeah... But if it wasn't that..." He stopped and looked up with a completely different expression.
"THEN WHY THE HELL DID SHE LEAVE?! WHAT IS SHE AN IDIOT OR SOMETHING?! IM GONNA KILL HER WHEN SHE GETS BACK!!" Bakugou shouted with an angry expression.
Naomosa flinched back. But couldn't hold back a smile. He wasn't sure if it was a good thing or not. But the boy seemed to be acting more like himself now.
Hopefully he made him feel better.
