36: 𝐻𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑟𝑦
Class 1 A had pulled it off.
Capturing all members of the other team in the last round and winning completely without any of their own teammates being taken down. Meaning One A had completely won the entire exercise. Though Kira really couldn't care less about that.
"Hey. Nice job out there." Kira bumped Shinso. Whispering to him as Aizawa and Vlad concluded the day of training. Oddly enough Aizawa asked Monoma to stop by later and meet Eri. Who was scheduled to move into UA some time soon.
Which Kira was overjoyed to hear about. Though currently it was just a thought and wasn't actually happening yet.
"Yeah... Thanks." He mumbled. "I really wanted to be at her... And Midoriya. But I failed at both."
"That's not your fault. I'm just awesome." Kira shrugged. "And Midoriya is unfortunately overpowered."
"That's for sure. I mean... That was basically a whole new quirk he used out there." Shinso frowned, obviously jealous.
"Yeah. The kid barely even knows much about his quirk though. I'm not surprised something new is popping up." Kira admitted. She didn't want him too get to suspicious about what happened.
Midoriya was already struggling to come up with a logical explanation.
"Boohoo." Shinso mumbled with a small smile. "Well... Guess I should get going."
"The hero course is so awesome... I already knew that... But now that I have a taste of what it's actually like, man I'll do anything I can to get in."
"I'm sure you will. Aizawa really likes you, and that's rare. It means you have serious potential." Kira smiled. She pulled out her phone. "I heard Tenya invite one B to our dorms to hang out tonight. You can come too."
He blinked a few times. Shocked and flattered by the invite. "Like... A party?" He asked. "No one ever invites me to parties..."
"I mean not a crazy one. Not with Iida around. Just a chill get together, we're probably gonna eat dinner and shit." Kira said, she showed him her contacts.
"Put your number in."
"O-oh okay." Shinso said nervously. Taking her phone and typing in his contact. He saved his number as simply 'Hitoshi Shinso' and handed it back.
Kira smiled and took a picture of him from above.
"Hey!" He said, swatting his hands around his head to try and hide from the camera.
"Got it. Come on I need to picture. So I can tell you apart from all the other 'Hitoshi Shinsos' I know." She said, Rolling her eyes.
"Whatever." He Mumbled, pulling his scarf up. "I'm suing you for taking my picture without permission."
"Can you do that?" Kira asked with a chuckle.
"Maybe." Shinso shrugged with a smile. He was really happy, dispite his slightly less than optimal performance. He was finally living his dream. Finally fighting with the hero course students. All of which seemed a to actually like him.
Or most of them.
He could feel the heat coming off of one students in particular. Whose red eyes glare was nothing to sneeze at.
Bakugou Katsuki was a few feet behind Kira, with his arms crossed and eyes bent in a glare. Directed at Shinso in particular.
"Ignore him. He's Hangry." Kira said with a smile. Hearing him nervously think about Bakugou.
Though she knew that obviously wasn't the case. Apparently he was just pissed about Shinso in general. Or rather the amount of attention Kira was giving the new student.
Kira didn't know if she should feel flattered or annoyed by the attention. She decided she'd figure it out later. "See you soon Shinso." Kira smiled and waved as Aizawa started to pull him away.
"Yeah." Shinso raised his own hand.
"See you later."

Bakugou had surprisingly ended up stomping off after All Might and Deku. Telling Kira he wanted answers. He wanted her to come too, but she declined.
She had heard enough about one for all today. He had heard enough for a lifetime actually. She didn't want to sit through one of their 'One for all Club' meetings. Not right now.
Right now she wanted a nice calming shower. Maybe a nap, and a snack before dinner. Besides, she needed to give Miso some attention. She was left alone all day today.

"Who is this?" Shinso asked, scratching the cat on the head. "I didn't know we could have pets here."
"Miso. She's my cat, they only let me bring her because I was the only one she had to take care of her." Kira explained, holding her up.
She had taken Miso downstairs to hang out with everyone. None of her classmates minded, in fact several missed their own family pets. They liked being around the cuddley furball known as Miso.
"What about your parents?" Shinso asked with a frown.
"Wow, you just assumed I had parents." Kira raised her eyebrows. His face went red in embarrassment.
"Is that... Is that a bad thing?" He asked. "She had to have come from somewhere!! She didn't just spawn here... Did she?"
"I'm just messing with you. But I'm an orphan, I lived with my uncle... Who lives here." Kira explained.
"Oh shit I'm sorry." Shinso rubbed the back of his neck.
"Nah don't sweat it." Kira shrugged and put Miso on her lap. They were sitting on the couches, close to Denki as he enthusiastically chatted up Pony from 1B. Who was a very sweet American transfer student who was still learning Japanese. Because of this most of her thoughts were in English.
"So um... Where's..." He hesitated. "Bakugou? Your crazy possible boyfriend?"
"Bakugou, is with Midoriya. Doing some extra training." Kira said, with a frown.
"And he's my friend."
"Right." Shinso nodded. "A crazy protective one."
"So what about you? I mean... How's Tammy? We haven't talked since the pageant." Kira asked.
"Oh. She's fine. At least as far as I can tell... She's... You know her." He shrugged. "Did you know she dropped by training today?"
Kira raised her eyebrows. "What do you mean?"
"She watched with everyone else. She did her weird teleportion-Spirit-world... thingy." Shinso said, holding his hands up like he was showing Kira. "Watched our whole match and then dipped."
"That's... Kinda creepy actually." Kira admitted. "Like she's nice and all but... That's unsettling."
"Yeah I know. She's a little odd, but so am I. It's probably why we're friends." Shinso shrugged. "She really supports me. I'm glad to have her."
"That's sweet." Kira smiled. She heard the door open and some talking.
"The hell is going on here?" A voice snapped.
"Some of class 1B are staying to hang out after training! Shinso too!" Iida explained. Bakugou scoffed just a little and walked over to Kira.
He frowned at Shinso. Not knowing what the hell he was doing here. Or why he was always right next to Kira. He was starting to piss Bakugou off just a little.
Kira turned her head. "Hey pop rocks, how was training?" She asked. He walked around the couch and flipped down. Purposely in-between Kira and Shinso.
"Oh great... That guy." Shinso thought with a frown, moving farther away from him.
"Shitty." Bakugou crossed his arms and sent Shinso a glare. Though he was an okay guy, Bakugou wouldn't have much of a problem with him if he didn't follow Kira around like a lost puppy. He'd probably be in a better mood, but he was tired and pissed at Deku for having two quirks. And the potential to unlock even more than that.
Stupid one for all. Why the hell does he have it and not Kira anyways?that didn't make sense to him.
"Sorry to hear that. You hungry?" Kira asked. He shrugged and leaned back, closing his eyes. "You tired? It is way past your bedtime."
"He goes to bed before Nine?" Shinso asked, pointing at Bakugou. Kira nodded.
"Pretty much every night. Meanwhile I don't go to bed... Ever." She shrugged.
"Same." Shinso nodded along and yawned. "Tammy lectures me about it all the fucking times though." He ran a hand through his messy hair.
"Who the hell is Tammy?" Bakugou asked. Eyes still closed, but he was definitely listening.
"His friend. Remember her? From the pageant?" Kira said, nudging his arm.
"I only remember you from the pageant. I didn't care about any of the other boring chicks." He snapped. Shinso raised his eyebrows and looked over at Kira. She didn't even need to read his mind to interpret the look: "And you're saying you guys are 'Just friends'?"
Kira lightly rolled her eyes and pat Bakugou on the head. "Thanks Kitkat."
