Lisa woke up when she heard knocking - pounding - in her door. She had fallen asleep on her couch so she rubbed the sleep from her eyes and got up to see what all the ruckus about.
When she opened the door, she was met with the four Bae's standing in the hall with trays, bags, containers and boxes in their hands. All of them wearing matching Christmas sweaters.
"Seriously, Lisa, you were sleeping?" Irene said exasperated.
"What are you doing here?" she closed her eyes and sighed. "OK, that came out wrong, but seriously, shouldn't you be at your place doing all kinds of Christmas stuff?"
"We should but we're not and now excuse me but I need to sit down." Siwon passed through the door setting the bags he was holding on the table.
By then all of them had made themselves at home. Seohyun and Irene on the kitchen getting all the food out of the containers. Siwon was still at the couch and Jack was moving around setting a bunch of Christmas lights all around.
"We heard somewhere that you were spending the day alone so we decided to get the party here and spend it like the family that we are." Siwon giggled.
"Why didn't you tell us that you were spending the day alone?" Jackson put Lisa in a headlock and ruffled her hair.
She playfully punched him in the stomach and pushed him. "I- I don't know."
"Let's not dwell on it, we are here and we're going to have fun."
Irene got closed to her and hugged her.
"So, we are going to eat here, but we're all going back to the house at night to open the presents tomorrow morning." Siwon informed her.
"Yeah, of course, I understand. It's already great that you came to spend the day here with me, I couldn't ask you to stay the night too."
"You are coming with us so by the end of the night have a bag ready."
She looked at Siwon surprised by his statement but nodded anyway.
There was no place in the coffee table that wasn't filled with food, drinks, and desserts. There was no place where they all could sit down to eat so Siwon, Seohyun and Irene took the couch with their plates.
It was a weird setup and even weirder to look at these people who were accustomed to eating at a proper table, with proper utensils and not plastic plates and cutlery but they looked fine with it. They looked happy.
And Lisa was happy, she really was, she went from wanting to spend the whole day in bed sleeping so she couldn't notice that for the first time she wasn't with her cousin to be laughing and joking around. She couldn't remember the day she felt like this since her parents died.

Meanwhile, Rosé was bored out of her mind and heartbroken. Since the day her grandfather told Suzy to go away she hadn't been answering her calls or texts. She hated herself for not standing up against them.
She just wanted a family, someone who'd be there for her, supporting her, wanting the best for her and her happiness. She just now realized that that family she wanted so much was Lisa. She had been there for her through everything.
It was late and Rosé knew it, but she needed to go home, her real home where Lisa and Suzy were. When she got there, she saw all the Christmas light and the tree and she got sad. Lisa had done all of this and she wasn't there to help her.
She immediately went to Lisa's room, she had forgotten that Lisa told her a few days before that she was spending the day at Irene's - Lisa lied though -. Sighing in defeat she went to her room and sent messages to the most important people in her life, Lisa and Suzy.
She fell asleep without getting a reply from any of them.
--------------------
The days went by and it was Rosé's turn to be alone, neither Lisa nor Suzy had answered any of her texts. She knew and understood their reasons, they had every right to be mad at her.
As soon as Lisa found that Rosé was back at their apartment, she asked Siwon if she could stay at their house a couple of extra days. Of course, they absolutely said yes, Siwon even told her that she could stay there forever.
And Suzy, well, Suzy wanted to run at Rosé's arms the moment she got one of the many "I'm sorry" messages but after a talk with Lisa and Irene, she decided to wait, she loved Rosé but she had hurt by not standing up for her. So, she needed for Rosé to think about everything.
It was weird being at the apartment without seeing Lisa hunched over her desk. She couldn't stand another day without Lisa and Suzy, she had to talk to them and apologize. Deciding not to sulk anymore, she went to Suzy's apartment. She was standing at the door, knocking and waiting for it to be opened.
Having no luck there and not knowing where Suzy was, she decided to go to Irene's house instead. She got there and pushed the intercom button, a voice asked her who she was and what she needed. After answering the questions she was buzzed in.
Walking inside Rosé saw Suzy's car parked next to Jack's, apparently, her luck wasn't that bad.
When the maid told them who was at the gate, Lisa and Suzy started an argument. Lisa didn't want to see her or have a talk with her, especially at a house that wasn't hers. Suzy on her part, wanted to see Rosé and hugged her so bad.
Irene told both of them that they needed to talk to Rosé and then decide if they wanted to forgive her or not.
Rosé was really nervous when she walked towards the door, when she got here, she knocked.
"You can take a seat." Irene offered whilst sitting next to Lisa and grabbing her hand.
"Thanks." She sat and put her hands on her lap. "So, um... I guess I owe you guys an explanation and an apology." She chuckled nervously.
None of them laughed with her. They just stared, waiting for her to say something else other than her lame attempt at smoothing things out.
Rosé sighed. "Um... I really don't know where to start, so I'll just say everything as it comes to my mind." She looked at Lisa and Suzy before looking down at her hands.
"I fucked up, I uh... I wanted a family so bad that I didn't notice it. I didn't need one since I already had one. You guys are my family." A tear rolled down her cheek.
"My mom was such a nice person that I thought she had learned to be like that because of her parents but I was wrong. You were right, Lisa, so you can tell me 'I told you so'. In such a short time I allowed them to change me and everything around me just to get them to like me. I let them do and say things I shouldn't have."
Rosé lifted her gaze to Suzy. "I'm sorry, I let my grandpa say those things to you and I didn't do or say anything to him, I didn't defend you." She stood up to walked towards where Suzy was seated and kneeled down in front of her. "I don't deserve your forgiveness but really, I'm sorry. You mean the world to me and I love you so much."
Suzy's heart broke at the sight of her girlfriend crying and she couldn't take it anymore. She took her in her arms and hugged her hard. Rosé hugged her back and nuzzled her head into Suzy's neck. It felt great to be back in Suzy's arms. "I love you too, Rosie. And I forgive you, just promise me you won't pull this shit ever again."
Rosé nodded. "I promise." She turned to look at Lisa who wasn't even looking at her and returned to look at Suzy, "I also promise we'll talk more about it alone, but can I talk to my cousin now?"
"Of course." Suzy kissed Rosé in the forehead.
Once Suzy was out of the living room, she turned to Lisa who was holding Irene's hand. "Whatever she needs to say to me, she can say it in front of you," she told Irene pulling her to her side.
Rosé sighed but she took what she could. "I'm sorry." Rosé started.
"I told you nothing was going to change but everything did, especially me. I betrayed you and I behaved like a bitch to you and I'm sorry for that. I'm sorry that I took you for granted, it wasn't my intention to hurt you and replace you with them but I know I did. I hope one day you will forgive me, I know it won't happen now coz is different than what happened with Suzy."
"I told you that you'll come back crying and that I wouldn't be there for you." Lisa said coldly.
"I know you said it and I understand now. I understand everything you said to me back then. I was an idiot for not listening to you, I know and I know was selfish. I don't expect you to forgive me now but I really hope you will eventually. You are my sister and I love you, Lisa."
"I told you knew nothing about them but yeah you didn't listen. I may sound like a jerk now but honestly you deserve all of this. And not because I want to hurt you but because I wanted you to open your eyes." Lisa snapped.
"I probably shouldn't, but I forgive you, Rosé. I was there for you when you were so nervous about your first day at school. I was there when uncle died. I was there to defend you against everyone when you came out and got your first girlfriend. I was there for your first heartbreak. I've been there for you through good and bad and I'll be here for this too. But you didn't see it and I really hope you will now."
Rosé moved from the spot she had been sitting since her conversation started, at a really fast speed she hugged her cousin.
"I love you, baby, and I'm really sorry."
"Get off of me, you're heavy." Lisa pushed Rosé jokingly.
"You can spend the night here if you want. Suzy will be here with her parents too." Irene told her.
After more hugs and kisses from Rosé to both of them, they walked out of the house giving some privacy to Rosé and Suzy.
Inside of Irene's room Lisa just threw herself on the bed and didn't move at all. Lisa was shaking, a clear indication that she was crying.
"It's okay, baby. Let it all out." Irene whispered into her ear and rubbed soothing circles in her back. She knew Lisa's talk with Rosé had been an awful thing to witness. She knew nothing about everything Lisa said to Rosé. She did know Rosé's grandparents were horrible family.
Irene stayed there, lying next to Lisa. They both had things to do for tonight's dinner but she was sure her parents would understand they weren't helping them.
It felt like couple of hours later when Lisa moved again, she turned to lay on her side and Irene did it too.
"So, your parents will get mad knowing that we're up here napping. Or Jack will probably think we're doing something else." She tried to joke.
"They won't." Irene shook her head.
"Don't worry they'll understand. Do you wanna stay here or wanna go down to crazyville?"
Lisa laughed. "Yeah, let's go down. I don't wanna be up here thinking about shit."
Irene giggled and kissed her cheek. She was starting to stand up but Lisa grabbed her hand.
"Thanks." When Irene give her a quizzical look, she elaborated. "For being there with me."
