Weylyn Filtiarn And The Half Moon Pack

Edward felt dizzy. Surely, he was not dead. He looked around confused. What had happened? He didn't remember. Just a couple of big dogs. Big dogs. He suddenly felt sweat trickle down. He looked left and right to see any sign of movement.

"How're you feeling, son?"
It was his dad. He looked ragged. Tired.

"Wh-what ha-happened?" asked Edward, not sure if it really had happened.

"Here, drink this."

His father handed him a glass of water.

Mm.. It tasted good. He didn't realise how thirsty he was.

"Mother?" asked Edward, knowing that he couldn't conplete the question.

"She," said his dad, pausing for a moment, "She was badly hurt. But, don't worry she has been admitted to the w-..a special hospital."

"Special?" asked Edward, wondering what did he actually meant.

His dad seemed at a loss of words. Edward got up from his bed with difficulty. He looked questioningly at dad.

"And where's Albert? What happened to him?" asked Edward, hoping for an answer this time.

"Um.. He's-he's actually...a...-"

They were interrupted by a couple of footsteps which came from outside the door. The door opened. Edward saw a muscular man with a square face. What was weird was that he was shirtless. Now, he could see two others who too were shirtless.

"Strange people." thought Edward.

"Sorry what?" the first guy who entered his room spoke.

Edward didn't say anything. It was just that he was too stunned to speak anything. Did he know what he thought about them?
The guy glared at Edward for a moment and then turned to James.

"Sir, we need to talk about your son, Albert."

James now really looked pale. He nodded. Edward couldn't control himself.

"What's happened to my brother? Is he alright Who-"
The guy didn't answer his question. He just turned away and gesturinv the others to get out of the room. James followed them. Edward quickly jumped out of his bed and put on his slippers. His head ached and his legs felt as if turned to stone. He shaked his head to remove the dizziness and ran after them.

They were heading to the sitting room downstairs. There was no Albert to be seen. At a moment, Edward thought that he should enter Albert's room to see if he was there. But, remembering his mother in that terrible position and Albert not being there... He gave up the thought. He was too horrified and felt shivers go down his spine. He followed his dad instead.

They all sat on the sofa.

"Sir, we are really sorry. We didn't detect anything. Maybe the human odour of this family is too much which masked the odour of your son." said the first guy.

James listened.

"We really feel most agrieved, sir. The headmaster would be disappointed with us. I don't something is wrong about this area. I mean, there has never been a point that a young werewolf was able to harm his family unknowingly."

"Werewolf?" Edward blurted out.
Again, giving no notice to him, the guy continued speaking rubbish in Edward's view.

"Hey Seth! Let's first introduce ourselves to them. Poor humans don't even know about us. Of course we have kept the secret for centuries." said a guy sitting next to the first guy now called Seth.

"Yeah, sorry." said Seth.
"I am Seth Wolf. This is Tim Wolf, my brother," said Seth gesturing towards the second guy, "and this is Mr. Marcus Clearwater, the Professor at The Half-Moon Academy."

James nodded.

Edward couldn't hold his patience any more. First, a couple of big dogs come into his house, second, his mother is injured and third Albert, he was missing. And now he gets to know that Albert is a werewolf. A werewolf? Seriously? This was really some big hoax or just a stupid, crazy dream.

"What did you say? Albert...Albert's a werewolf? I never saw him turning to one. I didn't see him changing into a werewolf at full moon. And I think you're just playing gigantic prank on us and I say, that just get out of our house." said Edward with immense hatred in his voice. He didn't even realised that it was him speaking. So much had had happened in the last few hours that he just didn't know what he spoke.

The guy named Seth just glared at him. Edward noticed that his eyes changed colour. First they were black (normal colour) and now they had changed to a deep shade of red. Bloody red. He huffed furiously.

"Sorry sir. He's just-just freaked out, you know." pleaded James.

Professor Marcus put a hand on Seth's shoulder to calm him down. Soon, the sofa on which they were sitting was vibrating so fast, it now scared Edward.
"Weird folks." thought Edward. He couldn't help thinking that after all.

"What?" yelled Seth. Edward saw that Seth was really angry and tried to close his mind. How did Seth know what he thought?

"I just knew it," said Seth, clutching the arm of sofa so tightly that Edward feared that it may release its stuffing.

"W-why don't you go back to your bedroom, Ed?" said James.
This wasn't a suggestion. James really wanted Edward to go to his bed. Edward never disobeyed his father amd turned around. He could still her Marcus and Tim trying to calm down Seth. Edward closed his eyes in anger and stomped up to his bedroom.
