Unbreakable Vow Completed

Part 7 Weird Solution

Subhadra got struck... as she was facing an unexpected situation. She planned something... before she executed her plan, she got to know how stable Arnav was in his decision of marrying Chutki.

"You can't take her to London..." Subhadra said.

"Why shouldn't I?" Arnav asked shrinking his eyes.

"You lived in London for ten years. So, you can accept its culture because you used to its different values. But Gupta women are not like you. They are very much fond of Indian culture. According to them, marriage is not just a ritual but life." Subhadra put her point which no one can deny.

Arnav folded his hands and looked at her sternly.

"What's your point Dadi? What do you want me to do?"

Subhadra looked at the Pandit and gestured him to talk. He nodded yes and recited what she taught him.

"I can give you a solution if you permit me." The Pandit said and Raizadas' concentration went to them.

"What?" Arnav asked plainly.

"You don't want to be the reason for a girl's death, that's why you don't want to get married and planning for LIVE IN life, right?"

Arnav nodded yes.

"I agree there is no redemption to the problem which is seen in your horoscope but we can win over destiny by using our mind." He said with excitement.

Arnav and Ratna spared a glance whereas Subhadra asked him,

"Whatever it is, tell us..."

"As per your horoscope, your first wife will die..."

Arnav was keenly listening to him.

"I mean the girl will die if you marry her... why not you marry a girl who is going to die in a day or two?" The Pandit stopped and looked at them one by one.

"What do you mean?" Arnav asked frowning.

"Marry a girl who is going to die and make your horoscope true. However, the girl will die no matter whether you marry her or not. So there is no room to be guilt. Then you can marry who you like..."

Arnav's face brightened with the idea. But Ratna was scared.

"Don't know what ply is there in the idea..." She thought inwardly.

"This sounds good..." Subhadra said looking at Arnav's expression.

"But where will you find a girl who is going to die in a day or two? Who knows when will someone die?" Arnav asked a valid question.

"There are many people who die in hospitals every day. Find a girl who is at the end of her life and get married to her." The pandit gave the idea.

"It's easy to me..." Subhadra said happily.

"Really?" the Pandit asked.

"Haannn... my friend Kamini runs a group of Hospital. Don't you know the hospital Oxygen?"

"Ohh... yeah... who doesn't know one of the best hospitals in India?"

"Exactly... she will surely help me in this matter," Subhadra said confidently.

Arnav was listening to them silently. The problem which was standing in front of him like a giant a few minutes ago became nothing now. Is it that easy to solve those problems? He looked at Ratna whose face was being covered with suspiciousness. Hearing Kamini's name itself she lost hope. These two old ladies are much dangerous than anyone she has ever seen. Don't know what plan Subhadra is plotting to join hands with Kamini. She became nervous. Subhadra noticed it.

"What do you say, Ratna? Is not my idea good?" she cornered Ratna directly before she tells anything to Arnav. Without any choice, Ratna nodded yes.

"Then I will talk to Kamini and ask her regarding."

Ratna nodded ok. Subhadra paid to the Pandit and he left the house.

They saw Arvind coming who went to attend a house warming function. He wondered, seeing his beloved ones in the living room all together. Usually, there would be a problem where Subhadra and Arnav are. But today, the living room remains silent. He smiled at them. As he didn't expect, Subhadra left the place which made Ratna amaze. She thought Subhadra will call Arvind to her room and talk to him about what they just discussed. But she didn't... why? What's there in her mind?

"Chotte... I want to talk to you about something." Arvind said.

"Yeah, tell me, Dad..."

"Why not you join the AR Delhi branch?" He asked him with excitement.

"I will surely join AR after meeting Chutki."

Arvind felt himself like an airless balloon.

"Chotte... however, it will happen..." Arvind said.

"Let it happen, Dad..."

Arvind looked at Ratna and pleaded through his eyes.

"You can do whatever you want... but what harm in joining AR? You may give your suggestions to Dad which will be helpful for him... you also getting bored sitting at home..." Ratna said thoughtfully.

"Haan Chotte... you are free to do anything you wish...just come to AR to pass your time, till you stay in India."

Arnav nodded ok and went to his room.

"Anything I should know?" Arvind asked Ratna, looking at Arnav's retreating figure.

"I don't know what to say..."

"Anything serious?"

Ratna nodded yes and told him the whole scenario. Arvind was dumbfounded. Why his mother is doing this now? What is she trying to do? They discussed Arnav's horoscope when he was born. The Pandit hadn't said anything that time, then why suddenly this drama... and that too with Kamini Devi...

Arvind was scared. What if his mother does something which hurts Arnav? Arnav will never forgive him and he will lose his son forever.

"You had never said anything about Chotte's horoscope problem?" Ratna asked him.

Arvind was silent.

"Please don't do anything which makes Chotte furious. I will never forgive you if you do anything against his wish."

"I think she is trying to get him married to Kamini's granddaughter..."

"What do you say...?" She asked him with a horrible expression.

"I heard her talking to Kamini Devi about getting her granddaughter married to our Chotte once."

Ratna gulped hard.

"Could you guess what her plan is?"

"I think she won't bring any girl who is going to die. Instead, she will bring Kamini's granddaughter..."

Ratna's shock was not estimated.

"Then she will say the girl doesn't die and live with accepting her as your wife until she dies... "Arvind predicted what his mother's plan could be.

"Being a soft-hearted guy, Chotte will accept her as his wife..." Ratna said sadly.

"Yes... I too think the same..."

"Oh, God... I don't know how Kamini's granddaughter looking like... I have not seen Kamini's granddaughter before..."

Arvind's face lit.

"Wait... I think I have her pic..."

"Really?"

"Yeah... when I went to Kamini's Birthday Party with mom, I capture a photo... in that photo, Kamini's granddaughter also was there."

"Please search for it..."

Arvind searched for the girl on his mobile. He found the photo at last.

"She is the one..."

Ratna looked at the photo. She looked not so beautiful but the grandness of her dress told that she is a princess. Ratna sent the photo to her mobile.

"I won't allow Chotte to get married if this girl is the bride," Ratna said.

Arvind nodded his head in an accepting manner. Ratna sighed in relief as Arvind didn't oppose her.

Garima extended the receiver towards Khushi. Taking it from Garima, Khushi spoke.

"Hello uncle, how are you?"

"By God's grace, I'm fine. I heard you have completed the graduation with ninety-two percentages..."

"Yes, uncle."

"Congratulations..."

"Thank you, uncle."

"Why not you join our company? Garima will be relaxed if you will be with her."

"Amma also suggested to me the same uncle. But I would like to search for a job on my own." Khushi said hesitatingly.

"I'm glad about it. But don't forget Ranade Company's door is always open for you. You can join anytime if you want."

"Thank you so much, uncle."

She disconnected the call.

"Govind uncle wants me to join in his company," Khushi said putting the receiver on the phone.

"I too want the same," Garima said.

"Mom, please... I don't want to be pampered. Let me grow like a forest tree." She said curiously.

"I know why you don't want to be with me..."

Khushi looked at her questioningly.

"You want to enjoy your space... want to get wet in the rain... want to share your food with your co-workers... and want to be independent right?"

"You are so sweet mom... without I'm telling anything, how beautifully you understand me..." Khushi kissed her cheek, circling her neck.

"I will give you two months time. If you don't get any job till then, you should join Ranade." Garima put a condition.

"Hey, Devi Maiya... please, give me a good job before two months get over." She prayed, joining hands, looking up.

Subhadra rushed to Arnav's room while calling for Arvind and Ratna. She saw him getting ready to go somewhere.

"Arnav..." she called him.

"Haan Dadi... what happened?"

Arvind and Ratna also came to Arnav's room.

"Kamini called me... she said a brain dead patient has been admitted in her hospital who is a girl."

Arnav looked at her dumbfounded. Ratna and Arvind also got alert.

"We know no one can recover from brain death."

Of course, they knew that.

"Her mother has been decided to donate all the organs of the girl it seems. I asked Kamini to talk to her about your horoscope as the woman seems broad minded."

"What did she say?" Arnav asked curiously.

"She agreed..."

"Really?"

"Yes... just now Kamini called me. The girl is almost dead. There is not even a single percentage of chance for her to be alive. This is the best chance for us. What do you say?"

Before Ratna said anything,

"Ok fine... go ahead..." Arnav agreed to it.

Ratna and Arvind looked at each other. They were scared to death. They didn't know how to stop the marriage if Subhadra tries to get Kamini's granddaughter married to Arnav.

"Let's go to the hospital. I will call the Pandit and ask him to come to the hospital."Subadra said.

"Is it necessary to call Pandit?" Arnav frowned.

"Of course, Arnav. This is a kind of redemption. So he is a must."

She called the Pandit and conveyed the message. Pandit readily agreed to come to the hospital.

Raizadas reached the Oxygen Hospital and Kamini was waiting for them. Ratna clutched Arvind's hand nervously. Ratna remembered Kamini's granddaughter's face once again before entering the room.

Ratna and Arvind sighed in relief seeing the girl as she was not Kamini's granddaughter. They smiled at each other contently.

But... Arnav was horrorstruck, seeing the girl who was lying on the bed, with the oxygen mask on her face. He was standing with an unbelievable expression. She was the same girl who he saw in the market area two days before... who he wanted someone to call her CHUTKI. Yes... the girl is none other than Khushi Gupta.

Marriage Plan

Arnav gulped seeing the girl, lying on the bed. Is he going to marry this girl? Without thinking anything, he readily agreed to marry a girl who is going to die. So then, he could marry Chutki after that. Though he had not had belief in those rituals and horoscope stuff he agreed to it because he wanted to keep his promise by marrying Chutki. He just wanted to fulfill his grandfather's wish. His only motto right now is marrying Chutki.
