That particularly starts now. *Warning and shit*

Besides a few scarce words, Levi had been eerily silent since my confession. It was clear that our date night was over. He had led me back to his room and then he avoided looking, touching, and talking to me further. It was very unlike him.

The pain within my ankle had subsided. So instead of bugging him for responses, I opted to continue my night as I would have if he wasn't there at all. I took my time in the shower and watched myself in the mirror while I brushed my teeth absently. It was interesting to see myself for who I was now versus the first time I had seen myself.

I had gained weight and my skin had gained color. Despite my near-albino white hair, I looked rather healthy. I touched my cheek and then my lips, pinching myself as if I wasn't sure I was completely here. When I closed my eyes and focused, I could see images of other faces; familiar and unknown at the same time. But when I opened my eyes again, it was only me.

I walked across the bedroom with ease, turning slightly to peer at Levi. He was sitting unmoving within one of his sofas, a book in hand. I could tell he wasn't actually reading it because he never turned the pages. I could also tell he meant for me not to bother him. I frowned, but then crawled into bed, content to grant him the solitude he obviously wished for.

When I began to doze off, I felt a weight shift slowly next to me on the bed. I turned without thinking, crawling easily to close the space between Levi and me without waiting for permission. I sighed as my body lined with his, enjoying his alluring touch.

Levi shifted against me, drawing me in closer so that our legs intertwined comfortably. He trailed his hand over my hip and then the small of my back, holding me against him. I leaned my head back and opened my eyes slowly to gaze at him warmly.

"Say it again, Katia," Levi whispered to me, his eyes unusually vulnerable.

"I love you," I confessed without hesitation, heat rising over my skin almost nervously.

Levi closed his eyes at the words, an unknown expression crossing his features momentarily. Whatever it was, I felt the heat bite at my veins in response, pooling dangerously low as my heart beat rose unexplainably.

He leaned forward fluidly and I lost my breath. Levi brushed his lips over mine briefly and then he deepened his kiss expertly. I felt suspended, hot and cold all over as if my body had malfunctioned. The kiss was only for a moment, but it had sent my mind reeling.

"Again. Say it again," He demanded, his voice a hushed hunger.

"I love you, Levi," I responded with shaky words, whimpering with anticipation when he immediately pressed forward to claim my lips with his once more. The fire in my soul was raging and the glow on my skin was vibrant under his touch. His lips released me, but he didn't pull away.

"Again," He could only say; his voice thick with unspoken desires.

"I love you." The words caused a pleased growl to rumble through Levi which sent a heated chill over my skin. He closed the small space between us, taking my kiss for his determinedly and stealing my breath all over again.

Levi's touch traveled over my flesh seductively, tugging at me and caressing me all at once. He shifted against me and then was on top of me, causing a sharp gasp to escape me. His lips moved over mine to my jaw and then lower. I leaned my head back, baring my throat to his trailed kisses eagerly.

I wanted him to sink his fangs into me, to tear into my flesh and devour me, but he resisted. He was all touch; no teeth. I panted as he lifted my top from me, baring me to his lustful eyes. And then his mouth was on my breast, a warm tongue teasing my bared nipple as his hips leaned into mine pleasurably. I moaned quietly, heat throbbing throughout me.

Levi payed my breasts special attention, moving from one to the other and drawing out blissful noises from my throat with ease. And then he began to trail his lips over my stomach sweetly, taking his time as he continued lower.

He tugged lightly on my bottoms and I lifted myself obediently to let him remove the last of my clothing without hesitation. My body was trembling underneath him; the desire that heated my skin was overwhelming.

I sighed as his lips ran over my inner thigh, his hands softly coaxing my desire over my skin. He parted my legs, leaving me immensely vulnerable. I watched him as he eyed my naked form with thick hunger, my body flushed and my heart throbbing with it. And then he carefully lowered his kiss over my core, the sudden and surprising pleasure shocking my body abruptly. I moaned with ecstasy, throwing my head back and tightening my grip over the bed sheets.

As Levi delved into my desires, my hips began moving on their own accord against him. My breath sharpened, the pleasure pulsing overwhelmingly throughout me. I couldn't last. Between the fire of his touch over my skin and his tongue driving purposeful delight through me, I was a flame on the verge of explosion.

"Levi," I panted, a panicked desire spiking within me. He didn't pause to save me. If anything, he only pushed forward more determinedly. I felt the fire build under my skin, pooling under my stomach dangerously. My breath shortened to panicked gasps and I lifted myself as if I could escape from his grasp though I knew I didn't truly want to.

"Levi," I whimpered desperately and suddenly I was gone in a blinding passion. I felt as though the flame released all at once, claiming me with it for the longest time, before returning all over again. It was only partly satisfied in the moment. And Levi wasn't satisfied at all.

His lips were suddenly against mine, the taste of my own sweetness on them. I reached for him, pulling him against me and lifting my own body to absorb as much of his flesh against mine as I could. He snaked his heated touch under my body, holding me to him as he aligned his hips against mine ever so carefully.

"Sorry, darling," Levi growled against my lips and before I could question his apology, he was pushing into me. Despite his gentle advancement, the pain was sudden like a lick of fire within me. I tensed, yelping sharply, and his mouth was claiming mine coaxingly. He paused, caressing me with kisses and soft massages over my flesh gently.

When I began to relax, Levi continued with care, pushing that dangerous flame through me affectionately. I gasped, rolling back my head as his mouth traveled over my throat once again. He pulled away from me slowly and then sharply buried himself within me again. I moaned and writhed under him, the pleasure of him filling me so completely overwhelming the initial pain. He stifled his own moan against the flesh of my throat.

Levi slid an arm under one of my legs, parting them even further before he began to thrust into me repeatedly. My skin was alight with lust and my soul was burning with endearment. As Levi gave himself to me, gentle and yet firm with hunger, I could feel that fire building within me again. This time, I didn't fear it.

I dug my fingers into his skin as if I would fall through the Earth if I let go. And then I was a burning star; spiking in the darkness with immense passion. Levi stifled another moan, tensing against me as if he had been lost as well.

After a few moments passed, his lips began to slowly trail over me. They worshipped me, covering me with gentle tenderness, and leaving my flesh alight with mystical luminescence. I couldn't think beyond the exhaustion of his desire. And as Levi's touch stroked my body so fondly, I realized that I had finally found something I yearned for from the men I had come to love since falling into their possession: a love returned.

~...~

I rested comfortably within a sitting room, touching my hair absently. Levi had just been about to take me out when Sebastian appeared, wishing to speak to him in private for a moment. Now I waited for him where he had left me, staring at nothing in particular and feeling quite content and safe.

Occasionally, my mind would wander. A heat would paint my skin as I recalled Levi's passionate night with me; something he had yet to repeat since then. But even as I thought about his lips on mine, there was something my instinct craved that had been missing. There was a satisfaction that hadn't been met. Or perhaps I was someone unable to be completely satisfied, despite any efforts.

I sighed, my soul buzzing pleasantly as I reveled in my memories.

"Katia," I heard Theo's voice interrupt my thoughts and I nearly jumped from my own skin. I looked over my shoulder at him who stood at the door of the room. And then I ducked my head shyly as if afraid he could read my thoughts.

Love came easy to me and Theo was another I was sure I had fallen for.

"You're alone," Theo announced, looking around as though Levi might be hiding under a chair somewhere. I nodded, but pushed myself to speak.

"Sebastian is speaking to Levi right now," I told him, swallowing my heart nervously, "Would you keep me company until he's back?" Theo watched me for a moment, acting as though he had stepped into a potential trap. Seeing his reaction was enough to relax me. I smiled, amused.

"I'm not the one who bites here," I said teasingly, laughing quietly. Theo hesitated only a moment longer before submitting. He took a seat on an adjacent chair, watching me carefully. I twisted my hair quietly, peeking at Theo occasionally.

"I have a question," I suddenly stated, but Theo didn't respond accordingly. "The first night I came here, you said in order to keep a pet everyone had to share. And then you said something about... remembering what happened last time."

Theo tilted his head forward, guarding his eyes behind his dark hair without a word.

"What happened last time?" I asked inquisitively.

"Sometimes I think I prefer when you were void," Theo said slowly, avoiding my gaze intently. But when I didn't show signs of changing the subject, he continued, "We used to barely interact with each other; some of us taking in pets whenever we liked and hunting however we desired. Back then, our family consisted of eight vampires; seven from Genesis and then me." I widened my eyes, curious about the possibility that there were more vampires with the addicting touch of my current company, Theo excluded.

"I'm sure you've been told about the effect of isolation when it comes to vampires," he continued cryptically, "One of ours turned wild and killed another. After that incident, Seb put in the rules we have now: share, don't hunt alone, family dinners, and the occasional hosting of a gathering."

"What were their names; the two you lost?" I asked curiously. Theo sighed.

"They're ghosts now, Katia. I'd prefer to keep them that way," He replied simply before allowing himself to look at me once again. "I've got a question for you." Theo was suddenly kneeling close to me, startling me enough to make my muscles tighten anxiously for just a moment.

"What is it?" I inquired breathlessly. Theo inspected me carefully, lifting his hand as if he meant to touch my cheek. I didn't move, afraid any movement would frighten him away.

"How are you?" He asked me, his voice low and quiet. I blinked in surprise.

"What do you mean?"

Theo glanced away for a moment, obviously fighting a battle with himself.

"I know what Levi did to his pets before the rules," Theo admitted carefully, taking his hand away from me with restraint. He caught my gaze, his eyes intense suddenly. "It... worries... no, it concerns...." Theo struggled, looking momentarily lost. My heart twisted sharply in my chest. I quickly moved forward, grasping his face in my hands affectionately to gain his full attention. He froze under my grip, reverting back into that cold statue.

"I'm okay," I told him sincerely, smiling sweetly before leaning forward to rest my forehead against his. Theo closed his eyes, not moving, and then lifted his own hands to remove mine from his face.

"He hasn't touched you, then," Theo sighed in relief. I tensed abruptly, my body betraying me at his words. He hesitated only a moment before locking his eyes on mine. And then a look so dark came over his features that my heart nearly halted in mid-beat. "He has."

"Theo," Levi had returned with epic timing. Theo hesitated to release me, but the dark emotion that painted his form was enough to allow him to move away from me slowly. And then he turned on Levi, a low growl rumbling within his chest dangerously. Levi tilted his head. "Do you have a problem, Teddy?"

"I would prefer any of the others to lay a hand on her than you," Theo snarled, his statement confusing me. For a moment, I had thought he was angry at me; for accepting Levi's love. Or perhaps he hadn't wanted anyone other than himself to touch me. But his statement alone was enough to tell me something about Levi specifically bothered him.

When Levi took a step forward, Theo shifted in front of me as if to guard me from him.

"She's mine," Levi's tone darkened dangerously.

"I won't let you do to her what you did to the others," Theo replied determinedly. He turned only slightly towards me. "Did he tell you how he likes to entertain himself, Katia? He binds women to him, fucks them, and has them love him like some sick narcissistic monster. And when he feels nothing in return-"

"Shut up," Levi snapped, suddenly furious. "That's not your story to tell, Theo. You shut the fuck up. She's mine and I'll do with her as I wish."

"I won't let you warp her mind and tear her to pieces," Theo snarled, stepping forward slightly as if preparing to attack Levi. "I won't let you punish her for not being enough to get your humanity back."

Levi crouched threateningly and the realization of what was about to happen finally hit me. In a panic, I leaped from my seat. But before I could utter a word, they attacked. I gasped as their forms collided viciously, shocking me terribly.

"Stop!" I cried out, uncertain of how I could halt their fight. My panic was increasing as they growled at each other, tearing into one another furiously.

"Stop!" They collided into the furniture, breaking wood and bones sickeningly.

"Stop, please!" Blood splattered over their forms and onto the floor, but still they ignored my pleas. I felt a turmoil of fire burning under my skin as their battle rose familiar screams within my memories. I lifted my hands to cover my ears, my breath shortening with fear. I could smell smoke. I could hear the growls over my terror. When I closed my eyes, I could see the pain of familiar chaos echoing in my subconscious.

"Stop!" I screamed, high and terrified. It came from my very soul, rising around me like the same flame that had burned me into existence. It burst forth, sharp as the blade of a sword, and reverberated around the room with terrible power. The material of the walls tore under my scream, splitting loudly around me.

My scream was cut short when my own power, something I had released without any proper aim, returned like a boomerang slamming into my body with immeasurable force. I was knocked viciously to the ground, stunned and suddenly numb.

"Katia," Levi was above me, a deep concern over his features as he swept his eyes over my body anxiously. I opened my mouth to say something, but nothing came. I swallowed and tried again, but it was as if I had lost my voice entirely.

"Don't move," Theo told me, leaning next to Levi before ripping at his shirt. Theo took the fabric and pressed it against my shoulder, over my collarbone, and down to my sternum. It was then I began to feel a sharp and terrible pain over my body.

"Theo," I choked in fear.

"Don't move," He ordered again. When he removed his hands temporarily, there was fresh blood not belonging to Levi or him in his grip. He meant to grab more fabric, but suddenly he was looking at his hands with intense focus. Theo's nostrils flared dangerously, a hunger beginning to cake his features.

"Get out of here before you kill her," Levi snarled, shoving Theo away roughly before ripping at his own shirt. The pain in my body was rising rapidly and my mind was becoming panicked with black terror. What had I done?

Theo had stood quickly, backing away as he held his bloodied hands away from him with restraint. He watched Levi lift me onto his lap carefully before applying pressure to what was a large gash across my chest. And despite his previous stance on Levi's sins, the last thing Theo heard was my terrible scream of pain before he fled from the room, afraid of what the monster in him wanted to do to me.
