Do you remember the first time we met? You walked into my book store
and asked for a certain book
that I don't remember because
I was mesmerized by your beauty.
I thought that an angel walked in.
I'm sure you noticed that I was dumbfounded because you smiled shyly.
I really thought that a masterpiece was in front of me that was forbidden for anyone to touch.
I still think that.
I remember asking you 'Do you live in this neighborhood because I haven't seen you around?"
You nodded and answered 'I moved here recently.'
I still remember how happy I was.
I was only 18 and you were 16, now I'm 25 and you're 23. We were together for three years then we were dragged here but it's fine because we're still a couple even though we're far away
from each other.
I keep telling myself that it's fine, as long as you're ok and
we'll be together again.
I'll keep waiting for you.
