ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ 24: ᴀᴏɪ'ꜱ ᴘʟᴀɴ
Nene POV:
The next five weeks went by in a blur.
Nobody recognised me or believed me when I tried to tell them I was Yashiro Nene. Even Kou didn't. The only person who believed me was Aoi.
Aoi really was my lifesaver throughout this change. I had absoulutely no idea what to do, and I spent most of my days bawling in Aoi's room. But she helped me set up a profile and got me a position at school, so I could try and ease into my new face while we tried to figure out an antidote to the potion.
Aoi helped me figure out a new personality and she set up a fake persona for me. I didn't want to at first, but she told me it was the best way to make everyone less suspicious and figure out more about Sakura.
So my new name: Ayoma Tizuki.
I went to school everyday as Ayoma-chan. I made myself out to be a friendly, charming, sweet, innocent girl who had nothing to hide. Aoi told me I should act as normal as possible and see if the potion's effects drained with time.
Everyday I attended every class. But I never gave up on convincing Hanako-kun.
I went to find him everyday I could, trying to persuade him, trying to talk to him, but everytime he shyed away, looking mortified and confused. He just couldn't see. God, I couldn't make him see.
Was this somehow part of the potion's effects?
