I left Annu's place after getting Gaurav's number. She looked a bit hesitated but she gave me. It also made my doubt clear there is something which she and Annu hiding. My baby can be naughty sometimes. But this time she is trying to cross her limits. And we can't sit when it is good for her future.
I made my way to Sizzle. It 's a small cafe. Actually I come here to meet Gaurav. Bell chimes and told the inside people about my arrival. I stepped in aroma of coffee and baking reached my nostrils. I closed my eyes as my tummy grumbled. I peeked and found everyone is busy in their worlds. Relief washed over me and I looked around and I found an empty seat. I filled and next moment a waiter standing in front of me.
Waiter: Good afternoon Ma'am. What can I get u ?
I: One latte with fruit n nut cupcakes.
He nodded and walked away. I pulled out my phone and bring out my contact list. I scrolled and my finger stopped. I pressed the dial and it ringed. Directly it reached to his voice mail. I throw my head in disappointment.
Wait for tomorrow's night.
My eyes go wide as I heard my inner voice mocking singing. I can't wait for tomorrow's night. And if Mom dad find out our little fight. What will I answer them.
That u played with their son.
I rolled my eyes. I again dialed his number.
Voicemail.
The beep echoed and I start speaking.
I: Hey. ummm... It's me. Sanyuk-- ummm... ur muffin.
Impressive.
I ignored my inner voice and focused on the message.
I: I m sorry.
I huffed.
I: I know what I did this morning was inappropriate.
I look around to see nobody watching me. My body goes more relaxed form after looking busy people.
I: I was just playing with u. I didn't mean to make u angry but at last I did unknowingly. I m really sorry and I mean it. Please call me back when u get free. I need u.
I spoke the last words like a mere whispered. Just hope he got that too. I disconnect the call and rubbed my face with my hands. I can just pray now. I feel someone presence around me. I peeked between my palms. A boy towered on me. I looked up with raised eyebrow. He is wearing stripped blue buttoned shirt with brown trousers. A back bag hanging on his shoulders. He looked decent and very formal.
I: Yes?
Voice: R u Sanyukta Di ?
His voice is deep and soft. He looked me questioningly and I realized I didn't reply to his question.
I: Yes and U R ?
He smiled and forward his hand.
Voice: Gaurav.
I immediately stand up.
I: Ohh.. I m sorry. Please have a seat.
He nodded with smile. He sit opposite of me and next moment my order arrived. My cheeks got red in embarrassment .
I: Sorry I was hun-
He chuckled deeply.
Gaurav: No need. It's already lunch time. So I can understand.
I tightly smiled.
I: Do you want something ?
Gaurav: I just call the waiter.
He called the waiter and I observed him and his features. He has oval shape face with light stubble. He looked lean and athletic. He doesn't look bad type boy. Even his personality speak he belong to a reputed family. Then why Aayu doesn't want to get marry to him. His eyes turned to me and I composed myself. I tightly give him an awkward smile.
I: So Gaurav tell me something about urself.
He huffed and smiled.
Gaurav: I m 24 yrs old. I got placed in M&M as CPA. I have parents and one younger brother.
I: Hmm.. And what about college? I heard u study with Aayu.
His eyebrows knitted together.
Gaurav: Aayu?
I scoffs.
I: Aayushi who got ur marriage proposal.
Gaurav: Yes.
Is he blushing?
I keenly looked up and his cheeks have light shades of pink.
I: So how was ur college life? As I heard from Aayushi.
I stretched her name and looked at his expression. His cheeks were going from light pink to dark pink. He is really blushing. I smiled inwardly but make neutral face.Something is really hidden.
Gaurav: What u heard from her ?
I heard his soft voice with hopeful eyes.
I: Nothing.
I shrugged my shoulders casually and his hopeful eyes goes blank. My doubt is clear. There is something in him for my baby. His order get served and we munched together.
I: Do u have girlfriend?
He choked his food at my sudden question. He coughed badly and I handed him the water.
I: R U fine?
He rubbed his neck
Guarav: Yea.. Yes.
His voice sound hoarse and I feel guilty.
I: I m sorry I didn't mean to-
But he cut me as he regained himself.
Gaurav: It's fine. And answer to ur question. It's no.
I quizzically looked at him.
I: Never ?
He shook his head in no.
I: Crush or love feeling ?
Gaurav: Crush not but love yes.
My eyes widen. He loved someone ?
I: U loved someone?
He rubbed his nape.
Gaurav: Actually loved is past tense. It's love. And yes I love someone.
It's so confusing. Past and present. What it mean?
I: What do u mean past tense. Do U still love her ?
He blinked his eyes.
Gaurav: Yes I do and I always do.
My mouth hang open. What the heck it is? If he love someone then why he send his marriage proposal to her.
I: In mere future. Means if u got married to my baby?
He nodded in affirmation.
I: R u out of ur mind?
I shouted on him and people gaze move to us. He apologized for my behavior but I m not. How he could like this.
I: How could think of like that. If u love someone then why r u marrying Aayushi?
My voice is full of anger. And he is pressing his lips in firm line.
Gaurav: Cause I want to.
He smiled and munched his sandwich. Where I on the other hand my appetite was lost. I was getting confused and complicated. I m trying to understand his words. He blushed when Aayushi name popped up but he is in love someone and always love her. Is he mad or crazy? Does he know what he is speaking a minute ago and now.
He is mentally unstable. Not good for Aayushi.
My inner voice answered and I agreed. I have to tell Mama ji about him ASAP. I thought Aayushi was wrong but here something else is going on. I got up on my feet.
I: I think I should leave now. It's nice meeting u.
I walked but his voice stopped my tracks.
Gaurav: Don't u want to know her name?
I turned back and expectantly looked at him.
I: Excuse me?
He smiled .
Gaurav: Please have a seat.
He gestured me to sit and without any reply I seated again. He cleaned his mouth and hands.
Gaurav: U don't need to worry about Aayushi. I also care for her.
I: If u do then why are u marrying her.
I hissed.
Gaurav: Cause that girl is none other than Aayushi.
I dumbfounded stared at him. What he said ?
Love. Aayushi.
My mind start registering his words. But my mouth could stopped but it was late as I asked "what" is confusing voice.
Gaurav: I know I never say anything about this. But I want a promise from u.
I raised my eyebrow and he nodded . I heavenly signed.
I: Fine but I can't promise that I will not tell my husband.
He raked his fingers in his hair.
Gaurav: Okay. Here is the thing.
I coolly start listening him.
Gaurav: I was a bad boy first two year. I always got involved in fight. I party freak and drunkard. But then in last year everything changed.
He scoffs.
Gaurav: She comes into my life and moved everything up and down. She was first year that time. I looked at her without her notice. I grew fond of her. Except one day her friend caught me.
He smirks.
Gaurav: She told me that I should stay away from her as she don't like roadside romeo like me. And that day I realized what person I m. If I want her in my life then I have to do something. And the very next day I left for America for my CPA.
My mouth hang opened.
I: Then how u got to know about Aayu now?
He smiled and again pink shade of color appeared on his cheeks.
If Randhir too blush ?
My inner voice interrupt with her dreamy thoughts. I remind her words. My cheeks warmed up. How will he look up when he blush.
May be cute.
Then I definitely will pull up his cheeks.
Gaurav: R u listening ?
His deep soft voice bring me out of his thoughts.
I: Yes. So tell me ?
Gaurav: I saw her at shopping center exact one month before. After that I take help of one of my friend and at last here I send my marriage proposal to her. As I want to her to be mine forever.
My heart fluttered. His eyes held so much truthfulness and honesty. He love her so much that he changed himself from bad to good. He really made me to think that he really want her in his life. Mama ji was right he is good choice for her. And nobody going to love her like he do. Today he made the fact true "Always want a person who wants u not whom u want".
I warmly smiled.
I: U said never say this thing to anyone then why me ?
He laughed lightly.
Gaurav: Cause I see the same care in ur eyes for her which I have in my eyes. She is ur Aayu but for me she is my love and life. Who made me good person and cause of that my parents proud of me.
I give him soft warmly smile.
I: Thanks for ur time. We will let u know our decision.
He smiled and nodded. We got up and greeted each other with Namaste. I walked out of the cafe and made my to home with wide smile and thought of my baby's marriage with him. He is perfect for her. The genuineness in his eyes and the love he is carrying for her touched my heart. And now Aayushi have to agree and I will make that possible. At least before returning I can watch her engagement. Couldn't I ?

RANDHIR POV
Voice: Mr. Shekhawat we will let u know by tomorrow about the deal.
I heard Mr. Fuller shrieked voice and I nodded with smile.
I: Till then-
But my idiotic best friend interrupted us.
Daniel: Why tomorrow? There is result in front of ur eyes and every result is successful as u see still u tell us tomorrow.
I rolled my eyes on his over melodrama voice. Why can't he shut his mouth. I held his hand and signaled him my eyes to keep quiet but he opposed. I glared him and he pressed his lips in thin line. I spin my head to Mr. Fuller.
I: Mr. Fuller we will wait for ur call. Till then-
I forward my hand for shake with smile.
I: We would like to leave.
He smiled and we shook hands.
Mr. Fuller: Until then good day.
We smiled and I was out of his office with Mr. Grumpy face. We stepped into elevator.
Daniel: Why didn't say something?
I heard his angered voice and smile.
I: We will talk about this in hotel room. Let's go.
We stepped out and made way to hotel room.

We entered in our suite and immediately Daniel burst at me.
Daniel: Tell me now.
I throw myself on bed and stared the ceiling.
Daniel: Randhir...
He was fuming in anger and I just smile.
I: First tell me did u tell Katherine to send my jet?
I heard his groaned.
Daniel: Yes. I did and she is sending.
He sounds frustrated and I smirks. I got few chance to make him frustrate him and this is what i want. I smiled broadly. He towered on me with frustrated eyes and I rolled my eyes. I sit on the edge of the bed.
I: Why r so much frustrated? When u know this deal is ours.
I said confidently and he rolled his eyes and pulled his hair. I chuckled and move to closet to bring out my luggage. Finally after three days I m going to see her and feel her in my arms. Her jasmine scent which make me crazy and make me wanton for her. I will do everything today.
But u forget u make her sad.
I rolled my eyes and ignored. I know in morning we talked and my fake anger made her sad..I heard her voice on my voicemail where she asking me to forgive. But for what I forgive her when I m not angry on her a bit. But at last when she asked she need me. I smiled widely but she don't know that more than her I need her. And now I will have her.
Daniel: Earth to lover boy.
I heard again his annoyed voice and I halted my thought. I looked at him. He is grinning widely with loop sided smirked. I shook my head in disbelief and continue with my packing.
Daniel: By the way there was question was popping in my head from the time we came here?
I: What ?
I asked with dishearten.
Daniel: How u come here the very next day of ur marriage when everyone want. U know
He said in teasing tone and I chuckled deeply.
I: Cause work is important and this meeting mean to me something. And she understand that.
He rolled his eyes and turned back with hands on his waist.
I: Do ur packing we are leaving in 5 mins.
Daniel: What the fuck.
His voice boomed in the whole room. He turned to me with surprised eyes.
Daniel: 5 mins. R u crazy? I need more than that.
I ignored his plead or whatever.
I: I m waiting in the car. Come soon or else.
I grinned.
Full mood to kick his ass. Great job.
I patted my back mentally and walked away with waving my two fingers.
