RANDHIR POV
I looked at my wrist watch. She should be reach by now. I picked my phone from my left side and opened the dial pad but my phone vibrated with message. I pulled the notification its from her.
Sanyukta: I drive safely and reached home :)
I chuckled she sent me smile emoji. She is so naive and innocent. I start typing the reply.
I: Okay and don't forget what I said. U are going to give me what I asked.
Smile or kiss emoji ?
Kiss.
I ignored my inner voice and put smile emoji at the end.
U know u r idiot. U kissed ur wife twice and still smile emoji.
Right. I erased the smile emoji and put the kiss emoji. Sent. I start again typing.
I: Yes! and don't blush cause I m not there to see 😉.
Sent. I put aside my phone and a wide smile formed on my lips. Lord! What she is doing to me? I was not like this. Romantic and giddy typed person.
May be u never know this side.
I pursed my lips and throw my head back on chair. I closed my eyes and start replaying today's events. How I was disappointed and then my disappointment turned into shocked. When I heard her sweet melodious voice at my door. I was happy or say more than happy when I saw her but there was also a concern that how she manage to reach here. Then we talk or says I teased then I took her by surprise into a kiss. And not a one kiss but I kissed her twice. Actually my urge to kiss her was then only when how cutely she said " GPS told 25 min but I reached in 35 min". But I controlled myself not ruined the moment when we are alone and no one is going to barge in without my permission and then she got up suddenly and said she wants to go. I made my mind I don't want to lose opportunity too. I twirled her and closed the gap between our lips. I start kissing her with so much of urgency and passion. I didn't give her much time to overcome from our kiss. Her lips taste like cherry and my desire pooled inside my body. I start rubbing my tongue on her lower lip but she didn't opened her mouth to me and I thought of making her gasp but maybe she will get scared as I already understood this is the first time she is kissing. So I stopped and looked her flushed red face. She was blushing profoundly and I loved that. I really loved it when she blushed all cause of me. Crimson red color really suits her and her eyes was sparkling. But when our second kiss happened she reciprocated my kiss whether she slowly moved her soft petals like lips but I got to know one thing one day her lips become my addiction. She is beautiful and...
My intercom rings and with closed eyes I put it on speaker. I heard Katherine's voice from other side.
Katherine: Sir Mr. Carter's PA mailed the contract.
I opened my eyes and
I: In my cabin now.
I cut the call and waited to Katherine to enter. I composed myself and door knocked. Katherine comes with papers. She sits and handed me one set. We start going through the contract.

SANYUKTA POV
I was smiling like an idiot when I left his office and everyone is watching me like I had two heads especially the receptionist. But when I reached home I composed myself and put neutral face like I really came from college but from inside I was feeling giddy. I was feeling different and different in very good sense. I never feel like this before. These foreign feelings are like that someone touched my strings and they continuously ringing. But I put all these emotions under my control as I didn't want that Naina got little suspicious about my lie to her. She will freaked out when she got to know. I know lying to ur best friend is not a good option but she and her romantic stuffs make me to kill her. But that girl surprised me as she didn't lectured me on my half and hour late coming. She just grinned and smirked widely and left me in hanging about her nature. I was in shock that what happened to her lately. I feel like to questioned but then drop the idea cause my one question made her doubtful so I play along with her.
And currently, we are watching second movie- "Breathe" and she is lying on my lap and munching french fries. Actually she purposely laid on my lap as I always walked out in between of romantic stuffs. But if asked me personally this time I didn't feel like to run instead I liked both movies are watchable. I should watch sometimes. I felt some air near my left ear.
Voice: Boo...
I startled and dropped Naina on the floor and start screaming on top of lungs.
Naina: What the hell Sanyukta...
She yelled in pain but my ears heard some familiar laugh. A male laugh. I immediately stopped screaming and switched on the light. He was there standing by clutching his stomach and laughing. He was in his office attire and his tie is not loose and vest buttoned up too. I stared him blankly and his laughed. His eyes were crinkled at the corners. He looks so care free. I forget that I was annoyed and lost in his beautiful laugh.
Naina: Jeej. What it is ?
Her shrilled voice stop me drooling on his laugh. I looked at her she was rubbing her bottom with irritated frown lines on her forehead. I muffled my giggles inside my mouth. He stopped laughing and raised his hands in surrender.
Randhir: Sorry ... R u okay ?
She rolled her eyes.
Naina: I m fine. But please don't do next time.
He chuckled.
Randhir: Sure.. so what r u doing ?
He looked at the TV and smiled.
Randhir: Good choice.
We looked each other. His eyes twinkled and sly smile formed on his lips. He narrowed his eyes.
Randhir: U took out my night clothes ?
I bit my tongue. I forget.
I: I do it now.
I smiled.
Randhir: Sure.. Naina would u mind if I borrow ur best friend for a while?
Naina: Nope. She is all urs.
She winked at me and I glared her. I walked out and he was trailing behind me. I entered the room and I heard shut sound of the door. I turned around and found him leaning on the door. He was looking at me with glint of mischievous eyes and smirking lips. I gulped I know what he is up to. He start approaching me and my heart beat raced up. I licked my lips and step backward. He didn't stopped he was approaching me till my back didn't hit the closet door. He put both hands to box my face and stood very close to me and my breathe hitched in my throat. Our close proximity really made my heart to jumped out in his hands soon. His knuckles brushed my right cheek and I closed my eyes. He was softly and gently rubbing there.
Randhir: U read my message ?
My eyes opened and looked at him. A coy smile was curving his lips. I feel warmness in my cheeks and I bow down my head. He lifted my chin with his index finger and made me looked into his eyes. His grey beautiful eyes were shinning and twinkling. They are not dark like when we kissed second time.
Randhir: Answer me. yes or no ?
I shook my head in positive.
Randhir: So where it is ?
He leaned towards me and immediately my hands land on his chest and stopped him. He looked at me confusingly.
I: I ... umm.. I..
He chuckled.
Randhir: M I making u nervous ?
Yes. I want to say aloud. His scent, his close proximity, his body heat all making me nervous.
Randhir: Sanyukta?
And the way his tongue rolled my name all the time. All make me nervous and flustered.
I: No.
With small voice like whisper I replied.
Randhir: Then?
I swallowed.
I: Umm.. Naina is out there.
Randhir: And I locked the room.
My heart stop beating. He did what ? He locked the room. Means she is not going to barge in. Now who is going to my survivor?
Like u want it.
My inner voice mocked at me. I looked at him. He was staring at me so beautifully. His nose touched mine and our breathe got mixed up. I closed my eyes to welcome what is coming next. His lips touched mine and start devouring my parted lips. I felt butterflies in my stomach and my knees turned into jell-O. My hands clutched his shirt's collar for the support like they are my lifeline. He stopped and I felt his forehead touched mine. I slowly opened my eyes and locked with his. They were dark hooded like dark night.
Randhir: U r flushed.
A silly smile formed on my lips and I averted my gaze. I could felt redness in my cheeks. His nose brushed mine.
Randhir: What u r doing to me ?
I instantly shot up and looked at him. A massive smile lingering on his lips and his grey were shinning. I bit my lower lip.
I: Umm.. I.. Umm..
He leaned more to me. I can feel his aqua menthol breathe on my face. I gathered all my courage but my heart was still beating like a bullet train.
I: I think we should go. She will be waiting.
He leaned to my side. His hot breathe felt near to my ear and whispered.
Randhir: and about me ?
He brushed his lips and I closed my eyes and tightly clutched his collar.
I: Please...
I said with so small voice that I doubt if he heard that. His cheek brushing mine.
Randhir: It doesn't mean I m leaving u. At night compensate it.
I widely opened my eyes. A playful smile was there and his eyes sparkling and I found myself blushing but I nodded shyly. He walked aside and I walked outside. God... What our kiss did ? It changed our equation. Till now he was sweet and gentleman type but now.. How will I handle him? This version on my husband. I rubbed my cheeks to remove the color.
Naina was already sitting at the table and Mary put the bowl of our dinner.
I: Thank U Mary. U can go.
Mary: Good Night.
I: Good night.
She left and I sit opposite of her.
Naina: What take u so long ?
She played with eyebrows and I immediately put my fist at my mouth.
Naina: Ooohh.. Aaahhh...
My eyes immediately shot up. She was grinning wickedly. I immediately throw the napkin her side. She caught and send flying kiss with winks.
Randhir: What's going here ?
I heard him and turned to look at him. He was in brown V-shaped T-shirt and Olive track pants. I averted my gaze from him and down my head. He seated on his chair.
Naina: Nothing just waiting for u.
We start with our food.
Randhir: So how was ur day Naina ?
She looked up.
Naina: It was all good except when she left for her college and back in 1.5 hours.
I coughed. He handed me water and I drank the whole.
I: I'm.. I'm fine.
He looked at me concerned eyes. I assured him and then turned to Naina. She smiling sheepishly. I glared her. My best deathly glared but she shrugged.
Randhir: U went to college? U could tell me I would drop u.
He was narrowing his eyes playfully and coyly smiling. I feel warmth in my cheeks. I down my head and concentrate on my eating. Where they start talking animatedly about college and her joining. He asked she replied.

We finished our dinner. I collected our plates.
Randhir: I m in study. I will be back soon.
He smiled. I nodded.
Naina: So could I take her for that time ?
Randhir: Yes... As u are here for 2 days only.
He winks at my side so she couldn't see. She jumped on me and made me stumbled on my feet.
I put the plates in washer and she linked our arms and we walked to one of the guest room side. We sit on the bed with crossed legs.
Naina: Can I ask u a question ?
She asked me in serious tone. It made me confused cause she rarely got serious.
I: Yes.
Naina: Is something happened between U two ?
I: Why ?
Naina: Cause he allowed u here. Is he angry for the morning incident ?
I chuckled.
I: No. He is not angry. May be he have some work. U know he owns a company.
Naina: Hmmm....
We laid and stared the ceiling.
Naina: So it means I will hear thing soon ?
I spin my head to look at her confusingly. She rolled her eyes.
Naina: Ur screams.... Oooo... aahh...
She said while roaming her hands on my body. My eyes widen at her gestures with a jolt I sit up. She was laughing hard. I took the pillow and throw at her. It hit her face but she didn't stop with her laughing. She didn't get anything else to embarrass me. She and her stupid romance novels.
Mad Woman.
I got up from the bed.
I: I m leaving...
Naina: I know...
She start adjusting her pillows and laid on that with huffed.
Naina: And please tightly shut my door. I m not ready to hear ur screams or ur moans.
She winks and I gaped at her. God how bold and shameless she become. I immediately ran out and shut her door with a loud bang. I stopped at my track. He was coming at my side with wide smile. I was panting. I start taking deep breathes to make them normal. He stood in front of me. I gulped and
I: Ur work completed ?
Randhir: yes... it just few mails replies. But what happened to u. U r red ?
I cursed Naina for her boldness. God her mental romantic mind reached this stage. What she keep thinking. I really need to talk her mother.
Randhir: R U fine ?
I stopped my thoughts and I looked at him.
I: Yes...
He smiled to me.
Randhir: So shall we go for sleep?
I chuckled.
I: Yes.
We walked to our room. He got aside and made me entered first. I smiled and walked to bathroom. My face is pink and all cause of her stupid remarks. I splashed water and brushed my teeth. I came out and he made his way to bathroom. I laid on my side of bed and closed my eyes. Door knob clicked. My heart start beating fast. I felt his side dip. His hand snaked to my waist and he pulled me to his side.
Randhir: I know u awake.
And I m caught again.
I slowly turned into his arms and face him. His finger remove my some fallen locks on my face and put behind my ear instead of taking back he rested his palm on my cheek. I savored the moment with closed eyes. When I opened back he was smiling genuinely. No word is there to define our silence right now. It felt like our silence and eyes were talking. I was so lost in his eyes. They were full of emotions of caring, tenderness, admiration and adoration. I found my hand to reach his cheek. His eyes dropped down and I caressed his cheek. His skin is soft and his small hair of beard making my palm tingling. I start closing the gap between our face and gently kiss the corner of his lip.
I: Good night.
I smiled and he opened his eyes and smiled. I lowered my head and adjusted myself in his embrace but he rolled me so I m top on him. I squeaked and looked at him with shocked eyes. He was smirking. I start wiggling but he tightly hold me there and smiling.
Randhir: Don't struggle there is no use. Just lay ur head on my chest and welcome our sleep.
I shyly did as he said and he kissed in my head.
Randhir: Now this is my good night.
I smiled in his chest and welcome my sleep. My safest and protective sleep in his arms like ever.
NOTE:
I know I m hell late but blamed my second thoughts who ruined my timing. As this part was going to post yesterday but my second thoughts ruined and cause of that I have to write whole new version of her and the result in your front.
Sorry from next time I will watch my second thoughts before so I will not be late anytime.
