Faith Faltered

Free De La Hoya is known to be a peculiar person. People are having a hard time understanding him because of his odd action and emotionless facade.
Oh well, like he cares about what other people think about him.
The spin-stealing blader found himself meditating, seating in a perfect lotus position in a healthy and clean grass, he's hidden far between the trees of the forest, where no BC Sol members would dare to disturb him.
Closing his eyes slowly he let himself sink into his subconscious, taking a deep breath to savor the tranquility and peace around him, he let his body release the tension, as the time fade away as he was simply breathing.
Something is bothering him at the back of his mind.
He always honed his sense to the point of making it sharp and accurate, where people joke about him being not a human and can see something others couldn't like in the future.
Well, that was half truth
And now a part of him is telling him that something isn't right with the things happening around him.
Like there is something that shouldn't happen and yet it does otherwise.
Never in his life did he feel so bothered and intrigued at the same time
It all starts with the mysterious hoodie person.
He still remembers how a not-so-noticeable guy is standing amidst a crowd, but unlike the loud and cheerful people who are watching the battle, his expression is the most interesting one. He looks so serious and agitated like he's the one battle in the tournament.
It's so rare for him to be interested in the person, let alone a stranger. He's not sure but for some unknown reason, his heart is aching when he's looking over that person.
There is only one meaning to this.
"The world of beyblade is changing" Free mumbled ominously to himself and the moment he said that the previous tranquil surrounding ends when the ferocious wind breaks through, as he open his eyes to reveal golden hues orbs, with a golden resonance around him.

"I know who you are" A deep voice spoke tensely with a bittersweet dripping in
The mysterious hoodie person smirked - darkly and coldly - in acknowledgment.
"You are always ahead of others, Shirosagi," The other boy said sweetly turning into poisonous candy as he spoke his name
The said person, Lui Shirosagi, forcefully maintain his composure to hide the uneasiness and dread feeling flowing on his body. Wariness colored his face with his heart beating faster
"How is this possible" Lui asked forcefully with the absence of hostility, royal purple eyes narrowing in disbelief and wonder. He still can't believe what he's seeing.
Because this is not supposed to be normal or rather possible based on his knowledge
But it just shows how great and big his potential is.
This guy never fails to amaze him whenever they meet. He's always full of surprised that always make him stunned
Just how far this guy can go?

Valt sighed in disappointment
He never meets the mysterious hoodie person and now he can't return the umbrella to the owner
He steps his foot inside the BC Sol headquarters, the warm atmosphere and the beautiful sunlight greet him and make him smile wistfully
"Where did you go Valt?"
The bluenette whips his head at the person who calls his name. At his back, is the second in command of BC Sol: Free De La Hoya
The prodigious lone wolf tilts his head in curiosity, emotionless void eyes glint in mysticism, whenever he looks into his eyes he feels like he's staring at his soul.
"Just outside, to return this umbrella to the owner," Valt said hesitantly, he gulp in nervousness, for some reason he feel tense
Is this because of how Free is looking at him?
"What's the owner look like?" The free question again with a hint of eeriness
Valt can feel something is off. Free is not the type of person who would be curious and care about other people's life.
It's unnerving and surprising at the same time.
"Uhmm... I don't know what he looks like other than he wears a hoody" Valt explain but not clear, leaving the blond unimpressed at his answer
"Ok! That's all! Bye!" Valt doesn't know what overtakes his body when he suddenly runs away.
He continue running away inside - and received a scolding from Kristina "No running in the hallway" - as managed to go inside his room
Kit and Honcho are out of sight, he walks toward his bed and lay down.
In the corner of his eyes, he spots a clean white envelope on the desk.
Curiosity takes over him as he grabs the envelope and his eyes widen in disbelief.

From: Owner of the Umbrella
The bluenette quickly open the envelope in excitement and read the letter inside
Dear Valt Aoi,
Congratulations on being the champion and bringing back your best friend on the right path. Everything will change from now on. Just you know, you can overcome all the obstacles you face as long you believe in yourself.
This letter is for you. You that's having a hard time. You don't know how much longer you can hold on. The you that blames yourself for everything that goes wrong. I want you to know that you are wonderful. You still have a lot of time in this world and many good things are coming into your life.
Never give up, never give in!
We gotta fight for what we believe in!

PS: No need to return the umbrella.
A single tear roll down his eyes as he smiles in joy. The heartwarming letter makes his heart touch and brings him mixed feelings of happiness.
He's not sure but the burden that has been weighing his heart seems to lift. He never knew such simple words can him this happy. Or maybe because these are the words he wanted to hear but was unable
Valt failed to notice how Valkyrie glim in sadness and discomfort

"BREAKING NEWS! THEODORE GLASS IS DEAD"
That shocked everyone in the room the moment they hear the television announcement, but out of everyone there is someone whose reaction differ from everybody else
Free narrows his eyes suspiciously. He has an inkling idea who did it.
It feels like his faith has been shattered and faltered for a moment. He never intervenes because he thinks it's a good idea to go with the flow. But with the unexpected situation, he must act now before it's gets out of hand.
It hurts to do this, especially when the threat is your own friend.
