(I'm alive!)
"Ayumu, that's not how you do it!"
"But what if I wanna add my own little style to it?" Ayumu asked with a pout and yelped when his sister kicked him in the butt, "Ow!!!"
"If you hold the bow like that, the arrow will hit something other than the target, you know this!" Kaori shouted at him, "Do it right!"
"Kaoriiiiiiii"
"You're a grown man, stop whining!"
"Grown?" Gramps inquired from where he sat beside y/n on a bench as they watched Kaori try to teach her brother how to hold a bow, "He's hardly grown. If anything, Ayumu is still a child."
"Hey! I'm almost 21!" Ayumu said sharply, pouting as he waved an arrow around like a wand, "I'm no child!"
"He's right, Gramps." y/n hummed then fix Ayumu with an exasperated stare, "He's a man child!"
"Just who's side are you on here?" Ayumu demanded with a scowl, "Sui!"
Haiyang, who had been staring at the little pond with fish in it, turned his head to give Ayumu a glare.
"Don't 🚚ing call me that."
"Damn, okay-"
Everyone was enjoying the free time they had since the Tenryou Commission was currently busy with preparing a ceremony of some kind.
Ayumu and his sister had spent a lot of time together and Kaori, despite occasionally fussing at her brother, seemed much happier.
Haiyang mostly chilled in y/n's garden but he would join the odd little family whenever they were all together.
"I heard that there will be fireworks tonight to celebrate the Summer Festival." Gramps announced, "How about you all go? Kaori needs a break from that Shrine, y/n hasn't been home in a very long time and Ayumu's been away from society for a while. I think it'd be good for you all."
Kaori's eyes lit up, "Ooo, yes! Ayu-nii, let's invite Yoimiya to go with us!"
Ayumu smirked, "Oh~? Does my wittle sister have a cwush on Yoimiya?"
Kaori growled and drop-kicked her older brother, "Shut your damn trap!"
"That does sound nice..." y/n murmured then smiled at Haiyang, "I think you'd enjoy it, Haiyang. Wanna go with us?"
The God blinked once, "Sure."
That's how Haiyang ended up at one booth at the Summer Festival, staring at some fish shapes dango with wide eyes.
Kaori and Ayumu were darting around like excited children up ahead while y/n watched on in amusement.
She noticed Haiyang's reluctance to eat the dango and smiled at him, "You really don't like fish, huh?"
"No. They look so dumb, it causes me physical pain to look at them." Haiyang grumbled, steel blue eyes narrowed.
"Oh. In that case..." y/n took one of the sticks and began nibbling on the fish-shaped dango with a pleased expression, "Don't mind if I do~!"
Haiyang watched y/n with an affectionate expression as she ate, the two of them beginning to walk again.
"Hurry up you two, the fireworks will start soon!" Kaori called from up ahead, waving wildly to the duo.
"Oh! Right!" y/n exclaimed, grabbing Haiyang's hand and dragging him along.
Inazuma was a very pretty place, Haiyang had to admit. But there was something about it... there was constantly tension in the air.
And y/n, those two 🍑holes who had messed with her a while back...
Haiyang frowned, eyes landing upon... you guessed it! The two 🍑holes!
There they were, a distance away, glaring at y/n from where they stood under the shade of a sakura tree.
'What's their deal?' Haiyang wondered, 'With how much they harass y/n, you'd think they're obsessed with her.'
The God blinked as the answer came right to him, 'Oh. They are, aren't they?'
Creeps. He'd deal with them later.
For now, he was going to see just what was so great about the fireworks y/n and Kaori were so excited about.
~~~ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ•°*
As the group of four stood amongst the crowd and waited for the fireworks, a gust of wind suddenly blew through.
"Ah! 💩!" Kaori snapped when you ribbon holding her hair back came loose and flew off.
She stared ruefully at the dark red ribbon as it fluttered down onto the sand below the spot where they stood.
"Damn it..." Kaori grumbled and began to turn away, "I'll go get it. Be right back!"
"I can get it for you." y/n offered then smiled, "Wouldn't want you to miss the fireworks."
"But what about you?" Kaori questioned.
Y/n shrugged, "I'll be quick."
And with that, the h/c haired train wreck took off in search of that damned ribbon.
She went around the group of hilichurls lurking around the area and immediately went to the spot where she'd seen the ribbon fall.
She found it right where she expected, a few inches away from the water.
Y/n picked it up with a triumphant little smile them paused when she heard footsteps. Two sets of them.
Curious, y/n looked over her shoulder and her hand drifted to her sword that craved bloodshed*not really*.
She deadpanned, "Not you two again!"
WHY WERE THESE JERKS HERE???
THE SAME ONES WHO DRAGGED HER TO JAIL FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER.
The didn't seem happy.
They didn't wear their usual creepy 🍑 smiles nor were they snickering like they usually did.
They were upset about something.
"You ♀️🐶!" one shouted, startling y/n when he hecking shoved her.
She almost fell but was able to regain her balance, "What was that for, huh?"
"You don't know how to keep your damn mouth shut, do you?" the other demanded.
"I don't know what you're talking about???" y/n tried to say, puzzled.
"Kaori, you dumb 💩, Kaori!" the first one spat, "You went crying to that crazy bastard's sister and she burned our houses down!!!"
Y/n inhaled sharply, "...huh?"
Kaori? Kaori burned their houses down?
She wouldn't... would she?
"You can't just let people like them get away with 💩, y/n." Kaori hummed with a sweet smile, "You're too forgiving."
"Holy 💩, no way-" y/n wheezed and yelped when she was grabbed by her clothing and shaken violently.
"What do you have to say for yourself, huh?!" one of the two idiots demanded furiously.
Y/n scowled, "First of all, I didn't go crying to Kaori. She found out all on her own. Second, don't insult Kaori and Ayumu like that. Third, you're the ones always harassing me. I don't even know your names yet you hate me so much."
"Tch..." the one who had grabbed y/n looked as though he were about to hit her.
The young woman prepared to fight.
They could insult her all they wanted but she'd never let them talk bad about her friends.
"Hey... y/n's got a vision, doesn't she?" the other one questioned then grinned, "Why don't we take her on over to the Tenryou Commission?"
Y/n tensed, "Huh? No! I got rid of it."
"We're not idiots, it's right on your sword! But that is a good idea!" the one who had grabbed y/n exclaimed before grabbing her by the damn hair, "Hear that you little pain in the 🍑?"
Y/n was going to 🚚ing piss herself-
"You... THIS IS WHY NOBODY LOVES YOU 💩BAGS!!" y/n shouted, tears in her eyes, "LET ME GO, DAMN IT! 🚚ING 🚚🚚🚚!!!!"
Y/n began thrashing and kicking, sparks of electro flying as she managed to punch one of the two men in the gut.
He let go of her hair, keeling over in pain as she ducked past him and began to run.
She could stay and run but with the Vision Hunt Decree... she'd be at more of a risk of being caught and having her vision taken.
It would be best just to get tf out of there, hide and handle it-OH 💩
Y/n yelped when she was grabbed and dragged back, a hand slammed over her mouth to keep her from making noise.
🚚ING 💩💩💩
Y/n kicked, her muffled screaming surprisingly increasing in volume when her vision was taken from her.
Okay, that wasn't good.
"Stop thrashing, damn it!" one of the two men snapped and y/n bit his hand, "OW!!! YOU ♀️🐶!!"
"BLEHHH, WHATD YOU STICK YOUR HAND IN, DOG 💩???" y/n snapped but her voice was drowned out by the fireworks, 'WTF, NOT AGAIN-'
And so, for the second time since y/n had gotten back to Inazuma, y/n was dragged to jail. Kicking and screaming.
