Aether had seen a lot of weird stuff ever since he'd first gotten to Inazuma.
But this had to be the weirdest.
No... not the weirdest.
The scariest.
Aether and Paimon had just left Ritou and got to the Komore Teahouse to talk with Thoma.
Things were going fine, Thoma pretending to be the cute little dog sitting on the counter of the Teahouse.
Aether and Paimon saw right through his little joke and it was all good.
They met Kamisato Ayaka and were given the task of fulfilling three wishes.
As of now, they were on the third and encountered a Shrine Maiden with hair like cherry blossoms and eyes like jewels.
Kaori was her name. She had asked Aether something. Something he definitely hadn't expected to hear.
"Why would you come to a place like this?"
Aether halted and looked back at Kaori curiously who stood in front of the Narukami Shrine as the traveler was leaving.
There was a small frown on her tired face as she silently awaited an answer.
"I'm trying to search for my sister."
"You certainly won't find her in the state that Inazuma is currently in." Kaori pointed out, "Why not search Sumeru?"
Aether scowled, "Believe me, I would, but I've already gotten involved and dug a hole for myself."
"I see..." Kaori murmured, "Oh well, I'll be sure to keep a look out for your sister."
Aether had spoken to her very little but he felt as though he'd made a mistake.
And he couldn't help but feel like someone was watching him very intently...
His theory was proven when he returned to the Kamisato Estate.
"I have heard all about how you helped out three friends. My sincerest thanks to-" Ayaka had begun to say but was interrupted by a explosion outside.
"What was that?!" Paimon cried.
There was the sound of people shouting and a blade hitting another in addition to someone shouting, "Hey! You can't go in there!"
Aether noticed how Thoma tensed just as someone yelled, "💩! It's that old man's student!"
"Ah, crap..." Thoma murmured.
Paimon looked alarmed, "Crap??? Thoma, what do you mean by that? Is someone coming?"
Just as she spoke, the door to the Estate opened very slowly, allowing smoke to waft on into the room.
Aether, Paimon and Thoma watched, wary of what was coming through while Ayaka merely smiled.
They all flinched simultaneously when a hand grabbed the door and someone peeked on into the Estate, their one visible turquoise eye glowing ominously.
"You... the blond ♀️🐶 next to the floating child." the newcomer said in a low voice before they threw open the door.
Paimon hid behind Aether, too fearful to complain about being called a child.
"M-Me?" Aether squeaked.
The newcomer narrowed their eyes.
Thoma smiled nervously, "Ahaha... Ayumu... what brings you here?"
The newcomer opened the door fully to reveal a rather irritated looking young man, with fluffy pink hair and jewel-like turquoise eyes.
"Would you mind explaining why the 🚚 you were talking to my sister?" the newcomer, Ayumu, questioned.
Aether deadpanned, "Your sister?"
Pink hair... turquoise eyes...
Ah- Kaori-
"Oh-"
"YOU BASTARD!!!" Ayumu shouted, punching Aether out of nowhere, "HOW DARE YOU BREATHE NEAR MY PRECIOUS BABY SISTER!!! YOU SHITTY NOBODY!"
Ouch.
"A-Ayumu! Calm down!" Thoma protested, attempting to help Aether.
"🚚 OFF, DOG BOY!" Ayumu snapped, landing a painful punch to Thoma's gut.
He halted to give Ayaka a sweet smile and a, "Good afternoon, Ayaka-san, I hope you don't mind me borrowing these two for a moment."
"I-"
"Thanks, you're the best!" Ayumu chirped before grabbing Thoma and Aether by their feet, "YOU TWO LITTLE 💩S ARE COMING WITH ME!!!"
The last thing Arther expected was to be attacked by a scary pink rabbit.
'Inazumans really are insane.'

Y/n was thrown in prison.
Prison.
I mean, she wasn't alone.
Haiyang had joined her.
"Hey."
The two Doushin who were dragging y/n away halted and looked fearfully up at Haiyang.
He glared down at them with an intimidating expression before holding out his hands with a, "Take me too."
Itto deadpanned, "Huh-"
Y/n was dumbfounded, "Eh-"
Haiyang blinked once, "Well?"
The two Doushin exchanged a look before dragging Haiyang along too.
"You're a dumbass, you know that?" y/n said flatly, arms crossed as she pouted.
"Mhm." Haiyang replied.
"You could've just beat them up."
"Mhm."
"I wouldn't have to had thrown my sword into a tree if you did."
"Mhm."
"We're gonna be stuck here for a bit."
"I know." Haiyang murmured, "But, since we are, we get to talk. I've been meaning to discuss something with you."
The duo were chilling in a cell within the police station after Haiyang scared the guards enough to get them to piss themselves.
Y/n let out a quiet hmph, "Well I don't feel like talking to you."
Haiyang only smirked, "Is that so?"
Y/n inhaled sharply when she felt strong arms wrap around her waist and Haiyang's lips near her ear.
"It'll be rather difficult for us not to talk of we're this close." he rumbled, the noise literally causing y/n to shiver, "Isn't that right, y/n?"
'DAMN YOU, SUPER HEARING!!!!' y/n screeched internally as her whole body began to warm up, "Hey... uhm, Haiyang?"
"Hm?" the cerulean haired man murmured, literally not paying attention as he absent mindedly held her a little closer and buried his face in her hair.
'💩!!!' y/n thought in alarm, "A-Ah... uhm... fine. We can talk... j-just-"
"Just what?" Haiyang inquired, his steel blue gaze meeting y/n's, 'Oh.'
The God found himself smiling, comparing the trembling y/n in his arms to a rabbit.
'How cute.'
"Erm... just please stop teasing me..." y/n mumbled, looking away awkwardly.
Haiyang froze, silent.
Y/n gave him a weary look as he sat there in silence, still holding her close.
"H...Haiyang?"
Y/n let out a little squeak when Haiyang tugged her close once more, burying his face in the crook of her neck this time.
"H-Hey!!!"
"Damn it, you're so cute." Haiyang grumbled, "I think you'd be even cuter if I were to just gently nibble-"
'NIBBLE WHAT!???' y/n screamed mentally, "Wha- ah, Haiyang, you-"
"-away at you until you admit that you're cute." Haiyang caught himself.
"Huh?"
"Don't question it."
As Haiyang held onto the whiny y/n, ignoring her complaints about how he was being too vague and not making any sense, someone had walked in front of their cell and stopped.
Y/n heard their footsteps.
She knew those footsteps.
"Ahem..."
Y/n didn't wanna look.
She didn't wanna look.
But she looked anyways.
There, on the other side of the bars, was Kujou Sara. Observing the duo with an unreadable expression.
"Ah... Sara..." y/n's voice was quiet.
"Y/n." Sara replied in an even tone.
Haiyang raised a brow as he rested his head atop y/n's, "You know each other?"
Sara's golden colored eyes narrowed slightly when Haiyang held y/n a little closer almost as if he were protecting her.
"Uhm, yes!" y/n replied, "Well... we used to I guess... it's really complicated."
His blue gaze was cold as he smiled a not so friendly smile, "Complicated, huh?"
In that moment, the Tengu Warrior and the God in disguise had similar thoughts.
'I don't like this guy... he seems off.'
'A Tengu, huh? How bothersome.'
