𝗜 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗔 𝗚𝗢 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘 ✦ 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 [OLD]
𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗴𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝗮𝘇𝘂𝗺𝗮
"Remind Paimon why we're here-"
"We have to ask y/n about Inazuma, remember?" Aether told the pixie.
"Yeah, but, didn't y/n say she didn't like talking about it?" Paimon questioned.
The duo were waiting outside y/n's door. They meant to knock about five minutes ago but Paimon kept stalling.
The reason the pixie kept stalling was that y/n's house had an awfully menacing aura around it. It was like there was an invisible wall with a big, "get tf away from here" written on it.
"...she did say that..." Aether mumbled, "But she still does owe us a favor-"
"Hey! Paimon planned on using that favor for lunch!" Paimon protested.
"I'll buy you lunch later, this is more important." Aether said simply as he went to knock on y/n's front door.
"Nothing is more important than lunch-" Paimon snapped back just before the door flew open and whacked the poor little pixie right in the face.
"Paimon!" Aether began to say but froze under the ice cold gaze of the man standing in the doorway of y/n's house.
He clearly wasn't happy about seeing Aether there, steel blue eyes narrowed. His long cerulean hair was messy and the ruffled state he was in gave off the impression of-AHEM
Something.
"Who are you and want do you want. Speak quickly." this strange person ordered.
"W-We're y/n's friends! We came here to ask her something!" Aether managed to say, 'Why does it feel like this guy wants to kill me...'
The young man made a quiet humming noise, narrowing his eyes at Aether, "Friends, huh..."
"Sui! What happened to the kitchen!?" y/n cried from inside the house and this scary dude flinched.
'Ahh, so that's his name.' Aether realized.
"Y/n! I told you not to call me that in front of other people!" he shouted.
"My bad, BUT THE FOOD IS ON FIRE-!!!"
The scary guy, having completely forgotten about Aether and Paimon, hurried back into the house in a bit of a panic.
"What a weirdo! He just ran off after hitting Paimon in the face with the door! Hmph!" Paimon huffed, "C'mon, sounds like y/n is in there too. Let's go see what's happening."
"Isn't this technically trespassing?"
"Not if the door is open."
Paimon was the first to float on inside towards the frantic shouting in the kitchen.
"PUT IT OUT, PUT IT OUT-!!!"
"Just wait a second-"
Aether and Paimon peeked into the kitchen just as the tall man from earlier dumped a bucket of water on the raging fire that was apparently food.
Both y/n and the strange man stared at the food in silence before y/n heaved a sigh, "Mm... guess we'll just stop by the Wanmin Restaurant and grab food from there."
"We wouldn't have to buy anything if you'd just let me take you there." the blue eyed man said with a frown.
Y/n smiled at him, "I know, Sui, but I don't want to cause you any trouble. Besides, do you still have your powers?"
"They're coming back slowly but surely." the man hummed then blinked, turning his head to glare at Aether and Paimon, "Tsk, don't you two have any manners. First you barge into our house then you eavesdrop on our conversation?"
Y/n peeked around her friend, "Oh... hey Paimon, hey Aether! What're you doing here?"
"Ah, well, we came to ask you something!" Paimon chimed then peered at the burnt mess which was supposed to be lunch, "But it seems like you're busy..."
"Yeah... I was making some food to give to Ningguang, Keqing and Ganyu as a gift." y/n said with a sigh, "You can see how that turned out."
"Maybe we could help?" Aether offered.
"Nope, I can do it myself." y/n said with a shake of her head, "Just give me another two hours."
So they did.
Y/n was done within ninety minutes.
It took her the remaining thirty minutes to deliver the food to her former co-workers then settle down on her couch with Aether and Paimon.
The two travelers sat quietly in front of the Inazuman girl as she used her sleeve to rub dirt from her face after being assaulted by a geovishap.
"M'kay, what do you want?" y/n sighed.
"Well, we wanted to ask you about Inazuma." Aether began and flinched when he saw the look on y/n's face, "eh... y/n?"
"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU ASKING ME ABOUT INAZUMA, HUH!???" y/n shrieked, "YOU AREN'T PLANNING ON DRAGGING ME BACK AND TURNING ME IN?!!!!!"
"Wait, y/n, no-"
"I REFUSE, I REFUSE, I REFUSEEE!!!!" y/n shrieked, tears streaming from her eyes.
Haiyang ended up chasing Aether and Paimon from the house with a broom.
Upon returning, he basically threw y/n onto her bed along with her blanket and demanded that she go to sleep.
Y/n obeyed, wanting the day to be over.
She sure didn't expect to wake up to the sound of the see and the distantly familiar sound of wind chimes.
Wind chimes...
Y/n sat up in alarm, looking around widely, "Wha- where, where am I!?"
She wasn't in her bed.
She wasn't in her house!
She was on a beach!
What the fu-
"AH! HAIYANG!!!" y/n shrieked when she spotted Haiyang beside her, resting peacefully on the sand, "IS HE DEAD!????"
"Hm?" Haiyang mumbled, blinking open an eye to stare at y/n, "I'm not dead."
"HE'S ALIVE!!!!"
Y/n started rolling around on the sand, screaming while the drowsy Haiyang watched her in silence.
"HAIYANG! WHAT DID YOU DO?!"
"I brought you home."
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN!?"
Haiyang blinked once, "Inazuma."
Y/n froze, "...eh?"
...
"INAZUMA!? WHAT THE HELL-"

Turns out, after y/n cried herself to sleep, Haiyang had carried her to a boat he'd prepared in secret.
He tossed her in there and the two of them got to sailing while y/n was snoozing.
Haiyang managed to get them past the storm but it took a bit of a toll on him.
Like, seriously.
You'll see how.
"Why, just why!?" y/n demanded as her and Haiyang got off the beach, the h/c haired girl dragging a sleepy looking Haiyang.
"Well, you've been muttering a lot in your sleep recently." Haiyang commented, "Something about a Gramps or a Kaori or somethin."
"YOU WATCH ME WHEN I SLEEP!???"
"Mhm." Haiyang confirmed then smirked, "I don't see anything wrong with it. After all, we will be sharing a bed soon."
Y/n was puzzled then remembered how she literally promised to marry him, "S-Sui!!!"
"Hehe~"
Haiyang was just teasing again.
"Hmph, telling from our surroundings, we're not to far from where Gramps lives..." y/n murmured after recovering from Haiyang's comment, "We can go there."
Haiyang nodded, "Lead the way."
As y/n began walking again, the God behind her seemed to lag behind a bit.
It was a moment before y/n noticed a change in the air and glanced at Haiyang with a, "Sui, you okay?"
"Mm... no."
"Huh-"
Y/n let out a shriek when Haiyang collapsed and was quick to hurry over in order to support him.
"Hey! Haiyang!" she shouted at him, "Wake up, damn it!"
No reply.
'NOOOO, IMDGONNADIEEJWKWHW'
