"KIRA!" Naomosa jogged forward from his car. He turned and saw Bakugou who frantically rubbed the tears out of his eyes.
"Oh thank God." The detective mumbled when he saw the boy, alive and well.
He grabbed his radio and put it to his mouth. "I've found Bakugou Katsuki. He's fine, taking him to the station now." He informed the rest of the group. Which Kira was just now realizing had probably been searching high and low for the missing person. "If you don't mind Bakugou, I'm going to need you to come with me. You too Kira." He nodded at her.
"You're still my responsibility. Who knows when All Might will be back in commission." He thought, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Everything is going to be alright."
"Yeah alright." Bakugou said with an eyeroll. Avoiding eye contact.
Kira looked over and saw the rest of their group about to walk away. Kira followed for a few steps and grabbed both Deku and Kirishima by the back of their necks.
The boys froze in panic, looking at each other and then at Kira who was between them.
"Tell no one of what you saw today."
Her tone was slow and serious, it reminded Deku of that punch in the face he had gotten earlier this year. Her hair was shadowing her eyes and she produced an intimidating aura.
"O-okay!"
"Yes ma'am!"
The boys both said nervously. They both knew what she meant. She was talking about the fact that her and Bakugou kissed and stuff.
Kirishima was really starting to think it was a mistake. A random impulsive display of passion or something.
Kira let them go once she knew they meant it. Then walked back to Naomosa and Bakugou. They walked back to the police car and Kira suddenly became very aware of the fact that she had not slept in over forty eight hours. Even during camp she didn't get a full night's sleep.
Kira slid to the side and leaned against Bakugou's shoulder. Sighing and immediately slipping into a deep sleep.

Kira stayed by Bakugou all day. Sitting curled up beside him at the police station, completely asleep almost the entire time.
Bakugou sat there silently. Complying with whatever the officers told him to do. Telling them all that he could. Answering all of their questions calmly and waiting for his parents.
They ran in less than half an hour after the teen arrived at the police station. Kira was leaning against Bakugou, snoring quietly as he was speaking with Naomasa.
"Katsuki!!" Mrs Bakugou yelled, looking around frantically when she stepped in.
"Mom." Katsuki choked out, trying not to cry. She looked worried, he could only imagine how horrified they had been when they found out he was missing.
"KATSUKI!!" His dad said, both of his parents running over. Kira jolted awake and looked around lazily. Pulling herself off of Bakugou so the boy could stand up.
He did and immediately both his parents wrapped their arms around him. Kira glanced up at the display of parental love.
She could only imagine that's how her family had looked when she had been reunited with them. She smiled softly and closed her eyes. The Bakugou family stayed embraced for a little more than a minute. Then Mrs Bakugou pulled back, tears in her eyes as she shook her son. "How could you do this to me?" She asked while sobbing.
"Oi! IT'S NOT LIKE I WANTED THIS!" Bakugou yelled back and his mom covered her mouth and sniffled.
"Oh thank God he's alright. He's still our Katsuki. I was so worried that they'd do something to change him. Or break him."
She thought, hugging him. "I know baby." She said. Hugging her teen son tightly. Her only son. Mr Bakugou turned to speak with the detective, shaking his hand.
Man Kira was getting some serious déjà vu.
Her mom hugging her tightly and whispering into her hair. "Kira baby, it's okay. You're okay now."
Her father shaking Aizawa's hand thankfully.
Kira could feel them. See them. See her mother in Mr Bakugou's glasses. See her father in Mrs Bakugou's strong words. See herself in Katsuki.
Their thoughts almost tricked her into believing they were here with her.
That her parents were here for her. Here to pick her up. To hug her like they used to do.
But they weren't hers.
She was crying for no reason.
Kira looked down, away from the family and rubbed her eyes. She looked down at her hands, tears dropped onto her gloves. The tears kept coming. She was crying.
Why was she crying?
She got up and snuck over to the women's room. She didn't want to take any attention away from Katsuki. She didn't want everyone to see her cry.
What's wrong with her?
Maybe she was just tired. That's it, she was hysterical from sleep deprivation. It wasn't her, it wasn't her that was taken.
She had no reason to cry.
But she did anyways. No matter how many times she rubbed her eyes the tears didn't stop. Her face was straight. It always was, it was her eyes that Betrayed her.
Her stomach aches and her head hurts, her eyes were dry but wouldn't stop their fountains of tears all at the same time.
She hadn't cried for awhile. Not since her and Bakugou faught. You would think she would have been drained of her tears after that. But here she was. Crying again, even though nothing happened to her.
She hated it. She wanted to stop.
The door opened and Kira turned her face, frantically rubbing her eyes, trying to make the tears and redness go away. She turned to duck into a stall but a hand grabbed her arm. Before she knew it she was being pulled into a hug.
Kira's eyes widened, but then more tears came and she hugged her back. Sobbing into her.
Mrs Bakugou didn't say anything. She hugged the girl into her chest, hand in her hair.
"I'm sorry." Kira whispered.
"It's okay Kira."
"I'm sorry." She said again.
Mrs Bakugou Stoked her hair lovingly. Kira whimpered and clung to the mother. Who shushed her gently. "You're going through a lot Kira." The woman whispered to her. "It's okay to cry. We all understand."
Kira shook her head and hid her face in the womans chest.
"I'm sorry about your uncle-"
"I need my parents..." Kira interrupted, crying harder. "I miss them." She repeated.
Crying for someone she needed.
Someone who didn't exist anymore. Her parents were no more than ghosts, living on only in her memory.
Mrs Bakugou's heart broke for this girl. She couldn't imagine how it felt, losing her parents. Especially not when she was so young and then to go through this? It was horrible. And Mrs Bakugou didn't even know half of it.
"How about you come home with us?" The woman invited, pulling back and holding Kira's face.
"No.. no I don't..." Kira stammered and shook her head. "I can't intrude... Katsuki..." Kira couldn't get out a full sentence. Couldn't think of a reason why not.
The woman tucked Kira's hair back like a mother did while calming her child. "You don't need to stay here alone and I can't imagine your uncle is in the position to pick you up. You can stay with us as long as you need, and visit him in the morning."
"Th-thank you." Kira sniffled. "But..." She looked away, biting her lip.
"What?" Mrs Bakugou asked, holding the girls shoulders and looking at her. Kira's eyes were red and puffy.
Kira rubbed her eyes and looked back up nervously. "My quirk... My quirk is mind-reading." She whispered, wiping her nose with a sniffle. "I know you didn't believe I'm Quirkless but... I thought you should know."
Mrs Bakugou stared at her for a few seconds, and then hugged her again. "That's okay." The woman said. "That's okay." She repeated, patting her back.
"That's a stupid awesome quirk."
A/N: No cus why did I legitimately cry while writing this??
