90: 𝑀𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑎!
Bakugou was about fucking tired of these losers. All of them.
That freaky school girl who kept on staring at her pocket knife and blushing.
The lizard loser who was trying too fucking hard to be Stain. With his masks and his swords and his weird elegant language.
The burnt bastard that had pulled him through the portal and tied him up in the first place.
The weird top hat guy with the stupid mask.
That muscle chick who was wearing sunglasses inside for some fucking reason and that weird guy who kept on annoyingly contradicting himself over and over again, giving Bakugou a headache.
That foggy oddly polite warp gate villain that Bakugou should have killed at the USJ.
And of course Tomura Shigaraki.
The creepy man-child sat on a bar stool scratching his neck and watching the news. Bakugou absolutely hated the man, staring at his hands like he wanted to bite them off. The hands that had touched Kira. He had put his hands on her and literally scarred her for life.
Every time he even looked at the man in front of him he saw his best friend's face, contorted in pain that she tried to hide.
He wanted to fucking kill that bastard for everything.
On the TV was Mr Aizawa. Talking about him apparently. Bakugou wasn't really listening, he was thinking of a way to get out of here.
Kira would have figured something out. Kira would have read all of their minds and figured out a way to manipulate them into getting what she wanted.
But Kira wasn't here.
He was scared, last he heard they wanted her dead. He had no clue if she had gotten caught up in the attack or if she had made it to safety. They could have killed her for all he knew. They could have killed everyone for all he knew.
"Isn't that strange..." The leader mumbled, clicking off the TV after Aizawa and Nezu answered a pointed question. "The heroes are becoming the bad guys."
He turned, Bakugou couldn't really tell if the man was looking at him or not. With that hand over his face, concealing his eyes.
"They're not handling this well at all... So much criticism. But everyone makes a mistake or two right? It's not like they're supposed to be perfect..." The man mumbled with a few soft chuckles.
Bakugou rolled his eyes.
"Modern day heroes sure have it rough... Don't you think? Bakugou?" He asked.
Bakugou didn't answer, but the lizard man started talking instead. "Once a hero is paid to protect people, they aren't a real hero anymore. That is what Stain taught us."
He corrected his leader.
"A hero in this system only cares about money and glory." Shigaraki said. Bakugou just wanted the dude to stop yapping already. "So we want to pose some questions... What is a hero? What is justice. What makes society truly fair? Soon everyone will be asking... That's when we'll know we won."
The man got up and tilted his head, allowing Bakugou to see one red eye between two of the fingers of the gray hand clamped over his face.
"And you like winning... Don't you? Katsuki Bakugou?"
Bakugou stared and didn't say anything. This seemed to annoy the villain.
"Oh come on. Here I was thinking you liked to talk. You seemed very chatty at the sports festival." Shigaraki said with a frown hidden behind his hand.
Suddenly Bakugou's attention locked to the curtains pulled over the doorway across from him. They were pulled open and a new villain emerged.
"Oh Tomura." A woman tsked. "You really don't know how to deal with children do you?"
It was a woman. The oldest person here, her white hair was short, but styled up. She had round sunglasses with gold trim. She was dressed in a white blouse and high waisted black pants. All of her fingers were decorated with gold rings and her neck was circled in more gold jewelry.
"Momma!" The vampiric girl said with a wide smile.
"Momma?" Bakugou narrowed his eyes at the woman. She looked like she was in her fifties, but it was hard for him to tell. She'd likely had work done though, her skin was only wrinkled around the eyes.
"You can't expect the poor dear to feel comfortable answering while he's all tied up like this." The woman gestured to Bakugou and then took off her glasses, revealing yellow eyes.
Bakugou glared at her with a scoff.
"He must be scared, after all you captured him and set the woods on fire while attacking all of his friends." She gave him a pitying look.
"Shut the fuck up old-timer. I'm not scared, I'm just not inclined to answer stupid questions." Bakugou snapped.
"Hey!" The tall muscular woman pointed at Bakugou. "Don't talk to Momma like that!" She said defensively.
"Oh it's alright Magne dear." The older woman cooed. Putting a hand on her head.
As she came closer to Bakugou and stood beside her companions Bakugou could see that the woman was actually quite tall. The same height as the burned male, possibly taller.
"How about we let him out, I'm sure he's very uncomfortable in all those restraints. You are recruiting him are you not? Why not treat him as an equal?"
Bakugou frowned at the woman. He was sure Shigaraki was the leader, but this woman seemed to have much more sway with the villains. Much more respect amongst the group.
They admired her, or even loved her. From the term they all called her "mama" it became obvious that she was the figurative 'mother' of the group.
If he could get his hands on her, hold her hostage. He could likely escape. They would let him if she was in danger.
"Fine. Dabi, untie him." Shigaraki told the scarred man. Who frowned and eyed Bakugou suspiciously.
"He's gonna fight." The man predicted.
"So? M... Momma is right." The leader seemed a little hesitant before calling the woman that. "We have to treat him as an equal. Besides he's smart enough to know he can't fight all of us, UA students are supposed to be quite clever right?"
"Twice." Dabi looked over. "You do it."
"Okay!" The masked man said. "No way man." He contradicted.
"Oh please, i'd expect better from grown men like yourselves!" The older woman said, stepping forward. "He's just a child. I'll do it."
Bakugou tried not to smirk. Perfect, the old lady was walking right into his reach. He just had to let her untie his restraints and then easily grab her. There wasn't much too her. Just some saggy skin on weak bones, if she was tough he would have seen her during the attack.
"Sorry momma." Twice said like he was ashamed and then spoke again in a slightly different voice. "You're not my mom!"
But the woman sent him a warm smile and walked to Bakugou, crouching down and reaching to the chair. She certainly smelled like an old woman. Baby powder and moth balls. Bakugou wrinkled his nose.
His arm cuffs let out a final click as the last metal restraint fell to the ground. He waited two seconds and then jumped up, palms gripping explosions. Smoke filled the room and he reached to blast the old hag Infront of him.
His hand hit another solid hand and he was thrown backwards into his chair. His head hit the back and he looked up with wide eyes at the woman.
At least he assumed it was the woman.
The beast infront of him was at least twice her size. Possibly even three times. It was covered in white hair and had a light blue gorilla like chest. It's face had a giant lower jaw filled with sharp white teeth. Stooped over under the low ceiling.
It looked like some type of Bigfoot. A yeti or something like that. A clawed hand planted on his chest, holding him down like he was nothing. It growled and stared down at him with yellow eyes.
Then shrunk, leaving him gasping in his chair. The beast turned back into the old lady in a blink of the eye.
She smiled at him. "Let's talk, there's no need for fighting." She said calmly. "Your name is Katsuki right? Would you like something to drink?"
"Don't call me that." Katsuki corrected. "My name is Bakugou."
"Yes of course, my apologies. You can call me momma." The woman said. Her words were kind, sweet in a poisonous way. She was all manipulations.
She prayed on even these villains by giving them a mother figure they lacked. Her kindness was that of a snake.
"I have a mom. And you sure as hell aren't her. I'm not like this pathetic lonely gang of wanna be villains." Bakugou snapped.
"Of course not, I'm sure your mother is so worried for you Bakugou." Momma said with a pout.
"She won't be for long." Bakugou said. "I'll get out of here soon enough."
"Of course you will." She said with an almost mocking smirk. "But it won't be because of those heroes. It'll be when we decide."
"Keep telling yourself that." Bakugou said with his own smirk.
"Do you really think the pros will come for you?" She asked. "Do you think your pathetic teacher will follow through on his promises to protect you?"
Bakugou didn't say anything in response. Wondering why she was bringing Aizawa into this.
"That man you call a hero is a liar and a thief." The woman said slowly, quietly to Bakugou like she was warning him. Bakugou realized whatever she had against Aizawa was personal. "He stole something from me... A long time ago. I want it back and I want him dead."
"Sounds like a personal problem to me." Bakugou stated boredly.
She ignored him.
"Now that we have you, maybe he understands how I feel." She gave Bakugou a pat on the head.
"You might have kidnapped me, but you're all fucking delusional if you think I'm gonna fucking join your band of misfit clowns." Bakugou said, standing up. The woman took a step back and eyed him. Ready to fight again if she needed.
"Yeah I wanna win." Bakugou said, looking at Shigaraki. "But I'm gonna win the right way. Like All might. We all know heroes always land on top."
Bakugou thought back to when he was a kid. When he watched all might fight three people at once. Ten people at once. A hundred people at once! All with a smile on his face.
He could do that too.
"You think I'll join you after you kidnap me and threaten to kill my best friend?!" Bakugou asked, explosions lighting in his hands. "I'm gonna fucking destroy you for touching her, you handsy bastard."
"Oh?" Shigaraki asked. Thinking for a second. "Are you talking about the mindreader?" He guessed, tilting his head. His mind going between her and Midoriya.
Bakugou glared at him in response and then he noticed something. 'Momma' turning her head to look at Shigaraki.
"Mindreader?" She whispered with a frown.
"Huh... I didn't realize you two were so close. But you have to understand, her quirk makes for a very... Difficult obstacle." Shigaraki said with a careless shrug. "Plus she's All Might's kin. She can't be trusted. I mean didn't she lie to you for months? I don't understand how you can still trust someone who's manipulated you during your entire relationship."
"SHUT THE HELL UP!!" Bakugou snapped, stepped forward.
"Compress, Momma. Put him back to sleep." Shigaraki decided.
Compress sighed. "He's such a bad listener. I'm almost impressed." He said, walking forward. Bakugou assumed this was the man who had trapped him before.
"IF YOU WANT ME TO LISTEN THEN GET ON YOUR KNEES AND BEG!" He yelled. "I want to blow them up with my max fire power... But that warp bastard is in the way... Think Katsuki..."
Then everyone paused as there was a knock at the door.
"Uh... Pizza delivery!" Someone said from the other side. Everyone looked around at each other and then...
The walls broke open.
