A/n: Imagine reading this and not following me. Total L if you ask me

With her headphones on tight over her ears and vintage rock music blasting Kira walked beside Bakugou and Kirishima. For some reason the class decided to do all of their shopping for the camp together at the local mall. Kirishima wanted bakugou to hang out and Bakugou wanted Kira to come. So now she was practically third wheeling on the two guys as they went through the camping sections and mens departments.

Kira had actually never gone to any sort of summer camp. In fact usually she spent summers completely alone. So she didn't really know what to expect. But everyone was thinking of campfires and bunk beds and scary stories with s'mores.

Kira didn't expect that to be the reality of this trip though. It was a training camp after all, and Aizawa was a very stern teacher. It would probably be really exhausting.

"Hey guys." Denki and Sero walked up as Kira's group passed the food court. They were on the second story by the balcony that overlooked the first level. Kira yawned, unimpressed by everything around her. She had already gotten all the items the list said she needed, now she was just here to hand out. Maybe buy some crap she didn't actually need.

"KIIRAAAAA!!!!!!!"

Kira yelped and grabbed her head. The shock of the sudden scream in her mind caused her to jolt forward in surprise.

"KIIRAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"You okay?" Kirishima asked as she held her head.

"Shit I don't even know if you can hear me." The voice said. She recognized the thoughts, which were being projected so loudly to her it felt like he was screaming in her ear. "Kira it's Midoriya. As much as I hate this... I need your help. Shigaraki is in the mall, he's holding me hostage. I can't cry out to anyone... He says he'll kill a pedestrian. So uh... I kinda... You know... Need your help... A little."

Kira gripped her hair and ripped off her headphones. Trying to hear everything better.

"Kira! Kira can you hear us?" Denki asked in concern. She was bent forward, gripping the table in front of her like her life depended on it.

"Shh." Kira whispered. Searching.

"We're by the fountain. He has his hand around my neck. One finger down and I'm dead."

She looked out and saw them. In the crowd, sitting by the fountain was Deku. Looking forward. Kira could only see the back of their heads but there was a hooded figure with their arm around his shoulders.

Kira grabbed Bakugou's collar. "Go find security." She told him. "Get them to clear the mall."

"Why?" Sero asked and Bakugou just nodded. Understanding that if Kira said to do this. It was important.

"Shigaraki is in the mall." Kira. She looked through her bags quickly. Looking for something. Anything that could help her in this situation.

"What?!" Denki asked. Backing up, the other boys looked at each other in horror and began looking around. "Sh-"

Kira covered Denki's mouth before he could start screaming his name. "Don't. You'll cause a panic. We can't let things get too chaotic." She whispered. "You guys go and tell them a notorious villain was spotted."

"Can you hear him?" Bakugou asked her.

She shook her head. "No not yet..." She whispered. "He has Midoriya. He's not letting him talk so he reached out to me with his thoughts." Kira explained. "Go."

"What are you gonna do?" Bakugou asked. Grabbing her hand with wide eyes. "This man is extremely dangerous Kira."

"Something dumb." Kira whispered back. "But he might be seconds away from killing someone. I have to stop him without making a scene. If there's anyone that can talk to him and dely an attack it's me. Do what I said. Now."

Bakugou let go of her wrist but stared at her nervously. He was scared for her. They all were. But he couldn't just start attacking the guy, they had to get the civilians and Deku away from him. Then if possible strike, if Kira really believed she could do that... Then he did too. "Fine. But be careful Kira. We don't know what he's capable of."

"I'll be fine." Kira said, pocketing something from one of her bags. "Take my bags."

She split off from them and they ran to find security.

"Oh God you can't even hear me can you? Useless. What's the point in having a mind-reading quirk if you can't - AHH He's choking me!!"

Kira ran down the escalator and bumped into someone. "Ow!" Uraraka turned around. "Aw I was hoping to find Deku... Where-"

"Go outside. Tell anyone else from our class that you see to leave too." Kira said. Grabbing Uraraka's shoulders.

Uraraka stared at her for a second and then... She nodded. "Aizawa said we need to listen to her."
"Okay!" She squeaked and ran off towards a store that a few other students were in.

Kira would feel better knowing her classmates weren't in the building. If there were other villains in here, they would be the targets.

She walked towards the bench the man was sitting on. Still with Deku. Kira finally picked up on his thoughts but they were...

Different.

Kira could barely make them out. At all. She's closer to him than she had ever been and she still could barely hear him. Something was different. Off. He was fuzzy, like listening to someone talk through a wall

Kira's gut twisted. What if... What if some how they caught wind of her quirk? What if he found a way to make it harder for her to read him.

She gulped and took in a deep breath.

"I can't breathe." Midoriya thought suddenly. Shigaraki was choking him, slowly but surely making it harder and harder for him to breathe in. She had to act now.

Kira walked over, coming in from behind and sat down. Her shoulder touching Shigaraki's as she leaned around the man and shoved something against his side. The metal dug in and his head swiveled around.

"What do you think is faster?" Kira asked casually. "Your hands? Or a bullet?"

Shigaraki losened his grip on Deku as Kira pulled his attention away. The boy gasped in a breath and tried to look over at her. "You came?! YOU HAVE A GUN?!"

Kira ignored him.

"Who... That girl... her quirk... she has... gun."
Shigaraki's thoughts were barely visible to Kira. She knew something was different about him. He had changed. He knew her quirk.

All for one did something to block her out.

"Do you actually expect me to believe you have a gun?" The man hissed. His voice was like sandpaper. Like he hadn't spoken in years. "There's no way they'd let you have one."

"Tell that to Stain." Kira said back.

Did she have a gun?

Nope.

She was currently pressing a rounded portable phone charger into his side. Under his ribs. It was shaped like the barrel of a gun though, hopefully he wouldn't call her bluff.

"Don't get a big head. You took down one sloppy villain." Shigaraki whispered.

"And I'm about to take down another. You're stupider than I thought, making a move like this. How desperate are you?" She asked him. He was still holding Midoriya tightly. Not letting him leave.

But Kira could sense a nervousness from Shigaraki. He believed she had a gun. Which was good.

Midoriya also believed she had a gun. Which helped her sell it.

"You better not hit me too." Deku whispered but they both ignored him.

"I just had a few things to say." The villain hummed with a crazy smile. "You should stay out of my way. We wouldn't want your pretty little face to get hurt in the cross fire. Your uncle would be devastated."

"You don't have to worry about my face. I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself." Kira said. She refused to let him know how nervous she was over the amount of information he had on her.

How did he know all of this?

"I'm going to destroy him." The man whispered. She could feel the same evil aura
Coming off of him. He was insane.
"But first I'm gonna take everything he loves. Just like he did to me. Make him watch the world crumble...

Starting with you."

His free hand started to snake over to her and grab her knee, his middle finger lifted up and threateningly rubbing her bare skin. She grit her teeth. Watching his every move.

"Please shoot him. Please shoot him."
Midoriya begged her in his thoughts. Kira ignored him and shoved the charger hard enough into his ribs to cause a bruise.

His grip tightened. He was starting to realize he wasn't actually going to shoot him. Not with so many people around.

He smiled broadly. Looking crazed. Kira held her breath and looked down as his hand grabbed her leg. Just above the knee.

With all five fingers.

A/N: also in case you're wondering:

This is basically what Kira is threatening him with rn.
