One second Kira was walking with Kirishima's arms wrapped around her and then?
Everything went black with a sudden bang, like she was shot in the head. Everything was dark and she could distinctly hear a loud ringing. Like when someone was blown up in the movies and all the sound cut off. But it was real.
She lost consciousness with only a ringing in her ears, then even that faded away.

Kira scrunched up her nose. "Um... Cat!" She said, looking up at the therapist.
"That's correct Kira! I'm so proud of you!" The woman said. She was faceless, Kira couldn't remember any features the woman had. Her face is a blur to Kira. 'She's growing stronger everyday.' The woman thought, letting go of Kira's hand.
When the woman let go of her hand her thoughts became fuzzier to Kira. All mumbles.
"Now I'm going to think of an even bigger word! And you're going to have to use your quirk to find out what it is, can you do that?" She asked and little Kira nodded frantically.
"Yes!" She said with a big grin. She liked this game, it was a simple test of her quirk. Seeing if she could read a mind and repeat back what she heard.
"Alright!" The woman put her hand out again and Kira put her own much smaller one on it.
'Hippopotamus.'
The word echoed in Kira's head twice and the girl scrunched up her nose. "Hippo?" She asked, looking up.
"Close. Try again, the full word this time." The woman advised.
Kira took her hand and closed her eyes. "Hippopotamus. That's a hippo. I was right!" The child said with a big smile. "Can I have candy now?"
"I guess so. But just one piece." The woman held out a bowl, Kira picked out a blue raspberry sucker and grinned at her prize.
"Is my quirk really strong?" She asked the woman, putting the sweet and sour candy in her mouth.
"Very." The woman responded with a nice smile. "Hey Kira, do you know when your mom is going to pick you up?"
Kira just shrugged and walked to the toys on the ground. "I don't know. She went to the store." The young child said. It wasn't unusual for her mother to leave while Kira was having a session. They usually stretched to an hour or farther. She would run errands and pick Kira up when she was done. It wasn't her fault. All of the other parents did the same as well. Trusting them completely.
The door opened and a man walked in, he had just finished seeing a boy a room down. A boy around Kira's age with a strong quirk but Not one that would be of use to them. Besides with his important family, he'd be very difficult to take.
Kira looked up at him. Just like the woman, Kira didn't remember his face just that he wore a white coat. However she could still faintly feel his emotions.
He was excited.
'Finally.'
He thought.
Kira gasped and looked over. "Hey I heard that!" She pointed. "I didn't even touch you!"
The two adults looked at each other in
shock. The kid's quirk was more evolved Everytime they met with her. She was getting more and more powerful by the hour.
"That's amazing Kira!" The man said, walking over and patting her on the head. The contact was too quick to reveal anything big.
'We have to act now. Wait any longer and she'll see it coming.' He thought to himself. Glancing over at the kid. She obviously did not hear that time, she just kicked her stubby legs and played with a toy car.
"Hey Kira." The man knelt down. "Why don't you come somewhere with me really quick?" He asked. "Somewhere fun."
Kira looked up. "Then can I go home?"
A smile peaking out of his blurred features.
"You'll be home real soon, Don't worry."

The truck rattled and the cage Kira was curled up in shook. Every bump on the road that Kira couldn't see caused her to hit her head against the thin metal.
She was crying, she had been for hours. Ever since she woke up in this weird place, her hands tied together while she sat in a glorified dog crate.
The small scared girl sobbed and sniffled in the metal box as the car rocked back and forth. "I wanna go... Home." She whispered between hiccups. There was no light in the vehicle, at least not where Kira was.
She was alone, curled up in the dark.
She wanted her mom and her dad. She wanted to be in her soft bed with her stuffed animals. She didn't understand what was going on.
The doctor lied.
This wasn't fun.

Kira must've fallen asleep, because when she woke up she was in a big room. Around her were lots and lots of boxes and barrels. There were even some big things that looked like bombs in the movies. She was still curled up in the box, but her back hurt a lot. Not just sore or in need of a stretch. But it stung and one part felt almost raw.
She didn't know how long she had been asleep, but her eyes still could barely stay open. Like someone was forcing them closed.
She whimpered and curled up again. "Please... Please I want to go home."
A big door slowly opened up, lifting from the ground like the door in Kira's garage.
She heard some footsteps and the voices of two adult men. Kira curled up, she wanted to cry out. But something told her not too. These men were the bad guys, that they wouldn't help her even if she asked nicely. She covered her head with her hands.
"You've taken inventory right?" One man asked the other.
"Yes sir, every bomb and poison vial is accounted for." The other said, Kira could see a lit cigarette in his hand. He blew the smoke out as he spoke.
"Fine. Lock everything up, and take care of that kid. Make sure it doesn't make a mess. The buyer will be here in the morning."
Kira covered her mouth when she saw the man nod in her direction.
"Ew another one?" The younger man asked his boss. "I hate dealing with em."
"Well we're getting big bucks for holding this merchandise. Just make sure she doesn't soil herself, if she does you're cleaning it up." The man who Kira assumed was in charge started to walk back out.
The younger sounded man walked over to Kira and she could sense his frustration and annoyance for having to deal with her. Kira backed up, she didn't even know what he was going to do. But she was terrified.
He took out a key and unlocked the crate Kira was in. A braver kid would have run away from him. A stronger kid would have fought him. But Kira wasn't very strong and she wasn't very brave.
The man reached in and just wrapped his arms around her stomach and pulled her out of the cage. Holding her under his arm. He mumbled to himself and Kira could easily read him with this contact.
He didn't feel angry or hateful towards her. He just didn't seem to particularly care for her at all. Like she wasn't even worth his attention. He held her like a farmer held an animal.
Like she wasn't human.
He set her down in another room and nodded at a potty. "Go." He said simply, leaning against the wall and looking down at his device.

"Alright let's see." Kira was pulled back from the cage early the next morning. She cried a little more but soon realized that just made everyone around her angrier.
"Is she marked?" The other man asked, the one holding her turned her around and lifted up the back of her shirt. Kira let out an embassed squeak and shoved him away.
The men ignored her and the boss looked at the fresh tattoo on the small of her back, marking her as the property of a certain gang. That's why her back hurt.
She had been branded, like cattle.
"Yep this is the one. Sedate her and bring her to the buyer." The boss said, Patting the younger man on the shoulder.
Kira has hungry, the last thing she'd eaten was the sucker her doctor had given her. She didn't even know how long ago that was anymore.

Kira woke up against a thin mattress. She slowly sat up, her hair was tangled and stuck to her tear covered face. She felt sleepy again. Too sleepy, not in a natural way.
She looked around and realized that she was completely free. Well, her hands weren't tied up at least. She rubbed her hair out of her face and looked around with a sniffle.
The room was pretty small. The walls all concrete, along with the floor. The door was metal and heavy. Even if it was unlocked she didn't know if she could open it.
She got up, her bare feet hitting the cold floor making her shiver. She didn't know what happened to her hello kitty sneakers. Or where she got the simple all blue clothes she was wearing currently.
The room had a table in the middle that had a small cup with five different crayons in it. Scattered on the floor were some building blocks. Like someone had just tossed them down. On her mattress was one pillow, a blue thin blanket and a teddy bear.
Kira reached over and touched the bear before breaking down again. It looked like the teddy she had at her home. She wanted to go back home. She wanted her OWN room and her OWN teddy.
The door opened and Kira heard steps in. She gasped and hid under her blanket, covering herself up while hugging the bear.
"Hello?" She heard a voice said. It was female and seemed a little nice. But Kira didn't move when she heard her thoughts.
'Time to deal with the brat.'
Kira stayed hiding.
"Come on out it's alright. I'm your friend." The voice lied. The womans heels clicked on the floor as she walked to Kira's bed.
The covers were lifted up and Kira peeked out, eyes wide and terrified. She hugged the bear with her entire body.
"Hello." The woman said. All Kira saw was a fuzzy smile and long white hair. "What's your name?"
"K-kira." The child whimpered.
"Hello Kira." The woman put her hand on Kira's head. 'Can you hear me Kira?' the woman asked.
Kira sniffed and nodded at her. "Can I go home? Please?" She asked.
The woman pat her head. "You're here to help me Kira." She said to the child, standing up over her. "We are your home now."
°.•.°•.°•.°
Kira hadn't spoken. She was staring in pure horror, her hand tied against the hand of a stranger. His thoughts running through her mind too quickly.
There was a lot of screaming. The woman Kira had met a day or two ago had tripled in size. Her voice a growl as she beat the man Kira was tied too.
"WHERE IS IT?!" The beast of a woman screamed at both Kira and the man. She was covered in white fur her jaw extended to hold the teeth of a primate.
The man stayed silent, his resolve was iron. Kira just sobbed in utter fear and confusion. Blood from the man splattered over her face and arms. Her free right hand wrapped around the teddy bear she was allowed to carry around. "P-p-please." Kira cried. "Stop, he's hurting." Kira begged on his behalf.
Her quirk could feel his own fear. She could sense the pain he was in. His agony. She wanted it all to stop.
"I know he is Kira." The woman suddenly shrunk back down to her human form. "But I need my answers. So be a good girl and do as I say." She said, wiping her blood covered fist with a cloth. "I want to know where the money this man stole is hidden. Can you tell me the answer?"
Kira whimpered and then listened intently. She would do anything to make this moment stop. To make this man's pain stop.
"I-If I tell you... Will he stop hurting?" Kira asked. Looking at the man in concern. His face beaten beyond all recognition.
But she could feel him. Hear him.
She could feel... Pity.
The man felt bad, he felt sad for someone. But not himself. He felt sad for Kira. 'Poor kid... What's she doing here anyways?'
"U-under something. It looks like train tracks. But there's no train." Kira said, scrunching up her face. The image the man kept picturing frozen in her mind.
'North of here... There's an incomplete railroad...' The woman thought. Kris could feel the man's sadness get stronger.
"Thank you Kira." The woman said, pulling out her gun. She pointed at his head and pulled the trigger.
"NOOO!!!!" Kira screamed. Her hand still tied to the man. She could feel everything from him fade. She could feel his brain activity switch off.
Then she felt nothing. No thoughts. No emotions. Not even a little hum. Like he was gone, like he had never even existed in the first place.
Kira was horrified, staring at the man. He was covered in blood, the wounds of his face were so horrible Kira could barely make out where the bullet had entered him.
As gruesome as that was. The most disturbing thing to Kira was his lack of brain activity. He was hollow, she couldn't get anything from him. Like he was a doll.
"NO YOU LIED TO ME!!!" Kira sobbed. "YOU KILLED HIM!!" The girl screamed, panicking. She tried to pull her arm away from his. But their wrists were knotted together tightly.
"I WON'T DO IT AGAIN!!! EVER!!! ILL NEVER TELL YOU ANYTHING AGAIN!!!"
The girl screamed. The woman rolled her eyes at her tantrum and shrugged. "Oh fine then. Have it your way."
She moved the gun and pointed it at Kira's own forehead. "I guess I don't have any use for you then." The woman said calmly.
"NO!!! NO PLEASE!!" Kira sobbed, covering her head with her hands.
"Listen to me very carefully Kira. Sweetie. Look up." The woman said.
Kira looked up and straight at the barrel of the gun. Every part of her was trembling.
"You have a job now. And that's to do what I say and tell me what people are thinking. If you don't do your job, that makes you useless. And do you know what I do to people that are useless to me?" She pulled the gun back, turned it and shot the corpse of the man again. "That's what I do to useless people."
"K-k-kill them?" Kira asked with a whimper.
"Yes. So if you don't want to die, You're going to have to be..." She shot the man again to illustrate her point.
"Useful."
