45: 𝐺𝑜𝑡 𝑖𝑡?
Kira always had good control over her emotions. She rarely had outbursts of anger or sadness. That's what made her so different from Bakugou, Bakugou had very little control over his emotions.
But right now Kira was more angry than she ever had been. She had left Bakugou for about ten minutes to go to the nurses office. Only to come back and find half the class ganging up on the poor guy. And they were doing it because they thought they were protecting HER. So needless to say she was pissed off.
She had actually been listening for quite a while and she could pick up on the rest of the story from everyone's thoughts. Midoriya was claiming that Bakugou hit her then he spiraled, saying Bakugou was isolating her from everyone else so he could get away with hurting her. He also told everyone she was an orphan and the weakest in the class.
While both of the last things were probably true it was definitely out of pocket. The moment she showed herself everyone stopped and stared at her.
"Oh my God it's true!! Look at her eye..."
"Kira's here... Maybe she can explain things... But she IS hurt right? But Bakugou admitted to that, he just said he didn't do it."
"No her poor pretty face..."
"That looks bad, but it doesn't look like someone hit her. It's too small, not as big as a fist or something. Bakugou's calmed down a little bit after seeing her... But why would Midoriya lie about this? Maybe he saw something and got confused?"
"Oh no her eye! That bastard! How dare he hurt her. And claim I had the hots for her... Whatever that means..."
"She's here... I want to leave. I just want to get out of here. I can't breathe... I can't see straight... I don't want to cry infront of all of these people... Please Kira, tell them what happened...."
Kira was so unspeakably angry right now. She was also baffled at how stupid Midoriya had been. What was he expecting to happen once she showed up? Did he actually think she'd be stupid enough to not clear up what happened?! Or was he just angry for no reason and taking it out on them?
She didn't care.
Kira walked up behind Midoriya, who had his back to the door. She set her icepack on the desk behind Midoriya and took a sip out of her apple juice.
"I think maybe we should tell Mr Aizawa about this..." Midoriya suggested. No one responded to him, they were all staring at her. That's when he picked up on the fact that someone else was here.
"She's behind me isn't she?"
Kira tapped his shoulder and he turned around. Kira after seeing his dumb face decided that controlling your anger was for the weak.
She swung her arm and her fist collided with his mouth. It was so hard and so surprising he was knocked down from the blow. He fell on his ass and his back hit the desk behind him, pushing it backwards.
"Holy fuck-"
"She hit him- is he alright?! That looked really hard."
"Oh God- what should I do?! Should I hold her back... Or check on Midoriya?! Or go find an adult? Or just try to defuse the situation."
"Did she just... Punch someone for me?"
"Oh my God is he okay?! Why the hell would she do that?!"
"Is she mad Because he called her weak?"
Kira rubbed her hand but didn't move to hit him again. Midoriya got up and Bakugou immediately pulled away from a very shocked Kirishima and stood to stand protectively infront of her. Just in case Midoriya retaliated.
"You were wrong." Kira said, looking up at Bakugou. "She didn't have any cookies."
He stared at her, dumbstruck. Then he seemed to relax just slightly. "The fuck do you want me to do about it?" He asked her, taking in a deep stabilizing breath. Kira gave him a pat on the shoulder.
"WHY ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT COOKIES?! HOW DARE SHE HIT ME?! IN FRONT OF EVERYONE... Is she stupid?! That hit was hard.... a lot harder than I expected from her... I'll give her that."
"Cookies?"
Midoriya was on his feet again, holding onto the desk behind him. His mouth was bleeding a lot and his upper lip was swelling up quickly. Kira picked up her icepack, that was covered in a paper towel and handed it to the guy. Who grabbed it and just stared at it.
"Listen, say whatever the fuck you want about me. I don't give a shit. Say I'm weak and tell everyone you want about my parents." Kira said, she gripped his wrist before he could put the icepack against his face. Her grip was also surprisingly tight. He stared at her eyes wide.
"But if I EVER catch you talking shit about MY friend again. I'll make sure you fucking regret it. Got it?" She asked, grip as hard as steel.
No one moved. Even though they thought they should pull her away, they just stared at them. Waiting. Kira's anger was so calculated, so controlled... And so fucking terrifying, no one could find it in them to stop her. She stared at Midoriya who stared back with wide eyes.
"O-o-okay..." He whispered, too quiet for anyone to actually really hear him.
"GOT IT?!" She yelled again.
"YES!!" Midoriya said, his body stiff with genuine fear. No one had ever seen Kira mad like this. Not even Bakugou.
"Good!" Kira smiled and let go of his wrist. Which had white marks from her fingers that were about to turn red. She gave his shoulder a gentle pat. "I'm glad we had this talk."
"I am so fucking attracted to her right now."
Kira ignored Bakugou's thoughts, trying not to laugh at him. Bakugou wasn't that used to people standing up for him, especially not violently.
"Are you okay Deku?!" Uraraka asked, grabbing his arm with tears in her eyes.
"How dare you hit him! That's so mean!"
"He's fine, I'm the weakest in the class right? I probably barely tickled him." Kira said sarcastically, waving her hand.
"I didn't realize how scary she was..."
Uraraka thought, biting her lip. "Deku was just trying to help her."
Kira grabbed her bag from Bakugou and stared to walk out the door. Nodding at him to follow her. He did without hesitation, head turned down. But Kira stopped at the door.
"Oh yeah." She turned and pointed at her face. "I ran into a door." She admitted, pointing at the bruise of her face. "I can't for the life of me see, how you could have confused that for Bakugou hitting me. So you're either really dumb... Or you're just a fucking liar."
The class turned to him, then back to Kira.
"See you around hairball." Kira said, walking out the door and waving to Midoriya.
"Hairball?!"
"Hairball... She's talking about one for all! That bitch!"
They walked down the hall side by side and Bakugou bent his head closer to her. "Thanks. But you do realize you're gonna get in big trouble for this shit right? You shouldn't have hit him."
Kira shrugged. "Worth it, I've been wanting to do that for awhile."
"Where are we going?" Bakugou asked as she took a different turn.
"Nezu's office. I'm going to go tell him I punched someone before Deku goes in there and cries or some shit." Kira said with a shrug. "I want to explain myself first."

"Midoriya..." Kirishima asked, eyebrows bent together. "Why... Why did you think Bakugou hit her in the first place?" He asked. She had a point, if she really was hit by a door... How could Izuku think it was Bakugou that hurt her.
"I..." Midoriya stammered, pulling the icepack she gave him away from his mouth. Uraraka gently dabbed his lip with a handkerchief. The rest of the class waited, because now the situation has turned. Now it was Midoriya who looked pretty damn bad.
"How could you ask that?!" Uraraka asked. "He's clearly hurt, you can't actually believe what she said!" The girl said, cleaning off Midoriya's bleeding mouth.
"It's alright Uraraka..." Midoriya said, giving her a smile that hurt his lip a little. "This is all my fault... I just heard her cry out and saw her eye... Bakugou said something about her being an idiot and he sounded angry... I just assumed..." He said, looking down like he was ashamed. "Then he held her and looked at her like she was the most precious thing in the world... I hated it... I want her to die. She's such a bitch."
"See! It was just a misunderstanding! We all know Bakugou was really mean to Deku, of course he's going to assume he hurt her! It's not his fault he was just trying to help her!" Uraraka said, looking around at her classmates. She herself seemed pretty angry, her friend was bleeding and they had the nerve to question him and accuse him of lying.
"No it is... I'm sorry guys this is all my fault... I deserved it." He said, conveniently flinching away from his icepack.
Kirishima stared at him. Something felt so... Wrong about him. Kirishima couldn't put his finger on it though. If only he'd seen what happened himself, maybe it was easy to think Bakugou had hurt her.
He thought of the way Bakugou reacted... He looked... Scared. He had been afraid, not of being found out, and not not Midoriya. It was more of... Everyone else. Kirishima had never thought Bakugou cared about what others thought but today... He looked so upset over this.
"Yeah well..." Kirishima looked at the green haired boy. "I think you shouldn't make assumptions like that... To avoid this happening again."
He glanced over at Jirou who hadn't said much this whole time. She had kinda been in shock since Kira came in and punched him. But she looked between Kirishima and Midoriya. Then at the door.
"Yeah that was kind of... Mean." Jirou said, staring at Midoriya.
"Mean to who? Bakugou?" Iida asked. "I would have thought the exact same thing! We all know how he acts and what he's capable of!"
"What?" Kirishima asked. "What exactly is he capable of?"
They stared at him. And he put his hands into his pockets. "I mean really, sure he's aggressive in training and stuff. But we all are. Outside of training he just yells a little. I've never seen him actually put his hands on someone before though."
"Yeah well... You don't know him like I do." Midoriya Whispered.
"...Right." Kirishima said uneasily. Looking at Jirou again. She was frowning too. Just as put off.
"But Kira DOES know him like you do... And she was willing to fight for him." Kirishima thought. "I guess I should head home then..." He grabbed his things and walked towards the door. Jirou followed suit.
But Kirishima just couldn't forget the look on Bakugou's face. The shaking of his arms and the nervous sweating. How pale he had gotten and his uneven breathing.
Something just wasn't right.
