She didn't understand the science of it. She didn't even realize how this connection happened.

He slapped her and then what? She wasn't sure. In a few seconds everything changed. He could hear her, like she could hear everyone. But she didn't think he could see like she could, or feel. He could only hear.

He stared at her, hands to his head. She remembered what it was like for her to gain this quirk at first. Scary, overwhelming. He felt the same.

But hearing Aizawa's voice made her remember something.

She had a job to do.

"Never better." Kira said confidently to Aizawa.

Kira knew the ends and outs of her quirk better than anyone. She knew its strengths and... Its weakness... She knew how to defeat Tenya Iida.

She pulled her headphones out and clamped them over her ears. Turning the volume up to its max and screaming to the tune in her thoughts.

"I-I-I'M HOOKED ON A FEELING!!!"

Iida fell backwards in panic. Kira screamed into his head and his mind spiraled into a confused panic. One that was very unnerved by the constant singing in his head.

"I'M HIGH ON BELIEVING!!!"

"KIRA I CAN'T SHAKE TODOROKI!! He's blocking my way. Now's the time to make yourself useful!!"

"Chill you ass Midoriya!!!" Kira Yelled, hitting Iida over the head and knocking him out while he was distracted. The double vision faded as his eyes snapped shut.

"THAT YOU'RE IN LOVE WITH ME!!!"

She didn't stop enjoying her music though. Bolting in the direction of her teammate. She ran, still able to feel Iida's heart, which had slowed down dramatically. She could feel a soft fuzz from his brain.

No matter how far away she got.

She ran, feet pounding on the concrete. She put more and more distance between them but it felt like he could be right next to her.

She didn't know this was happening. But it was, and it was both exciting and irritating. Of all the times for something like this to happen, why during training?

She gasped for breath. She couldn't make it there. Not on her own, Kira was definitely not built for speed. Her run slowed to a jog, then a walk as she past building after building. Still not getting close quickly enough.

Then she passed a parking lot.

Kira wasn't sure what the purpose of these vehicles were. Unless...

She walked over to them. There were a few small cars and one motorcycle. It was a very small model, older too. She walked too it, it had been so long since she'd sat on one.

Her parents both rode. They would let her ride with them. Though they had to be very safe about it. She also rode dirt bikes and minibikes on her own since she was ten.

Her entire life shed listened to her dad's thoughts about the machines. His tactics and process.

She knew how to operate one.

She checked it, finally finding the button. To her surprise the small vehicle stuttered to life. Bouncing and choking as it's engine began to idle.

No way, no fucking way.

She got on. She felt nervous doing so without a helmet. She'd always have helmets on when operating something like this. But life was too short to wear helmets.

She kicked off the break. Her hands moving, on instinct. Like they knew what to do on their own.

This was something bother her and her parents loved. Something that brought them together. That they bonded over, she hated that she had to let it go until now.

She twisted the clutch and rocketed forward. It took a few moments to get over this wobbly feeling. Her feet brushing the ground to insure she wouldn't tip. But as she turned out of the parking lot and gained speed she overcome it. The machine stayed steady in a straight line. Followed Kira's direction.

Kira liked machines. They didn't have thoughts, or secrets. They were easy to deal with, not very complicated if you understood the science of how they worked

"I'm afraid Kira just got cooler." Mina said, pointing at the screen. "Since when does she know how to use that thing??"

"Her um... Her parents used to drive Motorcycles. Her mother at least, she was obsessed with them since childhood." Kira's uncle spoke up. "I bought her one for her twentieth birthday... Or was it her twenty first?"

"That's flipping cool." Jirou mumbled, propping her head on her hand.

"So you allow students to operate vehicles?"
Jirou's dad asked.

"Apparently, we normally just leave them there to make the environment more realistic. They're an option, but most of the students don't use them." Aizawa shrugged. "Probably because they don't know how."

Kira knew how, apparently. But she also had an insanely complex memory. She knew how based on watching and listening to someone else when she was younger.

It was insane.

Kira was moving much quicker now. Unfortunately Iida had woken up. Heart rate picking up, eyes opening.

"What... Happened?" He thought, rubbing his eyes.

Kira kept her own open. "I wish he'd stop looking around, it makes it damn hard to blink."

"Me?"

"Yes you, who the hell else would I be thinking about?" Kira rolled her eyes and turned slightly to go around a chunk of ice. She was getting close.

"I'm not sure. Can you get your voice out of my mind?" Iida asked, very politely. Rubbing his head. "Where is that music coming from?"

"I don't even know how to do that. I'm just thinking and for some reason you can hear it." Kira thought, frowning. "Welcome to being a mindreader bro. It sucks ass doesn't it?"

"So I have your quirk?"

"Not exactly, we'll figure it out later." Kira continued to think about all of the possibilities. But she couldn't remember what happened that triggered this.

"Is this really how you feel constantly?" Iida wondered as her thoughts kept circling in his own mind.

"Of course not... Normally I have at least ten extra streams of thoughts to pick up on. Let's just hope I'm the only one you can hear... Oh God I'm the worst person he could possibly hear. I know everything about everyone... Jeez-  okay Kira, just don't think about other people." Kira shook her head. It would be so easy for her to just think about something He wasn't supposed to know. Was this the worry everyone else felt when they found out about her quirk?

She focused on her task. Seeing Todoroki and Deku fighting. Midoriya was mainly hopping around. Trying to find an opening, the flag held tightly in his grip.

There was ice everywhere. Coating the ground around them, Todoroki was favoring his right side apparently.

Kira came in from the side, she had to create an opening for him and fast.
"I'm gonna create an opening, move as soon as you get the chance." Kira said into their ear piece. She had a sudden idea, one that this icy terrain would be perfect for.

"Wait! That's not a good idea-"

Iida could hear her thoughts but was unable to stop her at all. Kira drove over the icy street, the wheels started to slide and she quickly turned the vehicle. Purposefully loosing traction.

Right as she lost control she jumped off, the motorcycle kept going it's speed as she fell to the ground. Rolling and bumping, arms bruised and scraped by the ice. The motorcycle tumbled and screeched, flying towards Todoroki who turned with wide eyes.

Deku took the opportunity Kira gave him and rushed past Todoroki as he was distracted. Todoroki reacted quickly, but couldn't stop both Kira's attack and Midoriya from running.

He swung his arm and shot ice crystals up. Catching the motorcycle in the air when it was only a few feet from him. He could feel heat rising up from the motor, already melting the ice.

"Kira!" Iida thought. He was running their way. She could see it, her eyes shut as she laid on the ground. Her arms and legs burned. It felt like she was watching a movie, or like she had a VR headset on but no control.

"Shut up... I'm fine." She thought, looking straight up as Midoriya lunged towards his goal. Minus the fact that my whole body feels like it was hot by a truck."

"Team Deku and Athena wins the round. With thirty seconds left on the clock."
Mr Aizawa said, his voice broadcasted through several speakers.

"Hell yeah!" Kira yelled, putting her hands up. Back still flat on the ground.

She heard what sounded like a growl from Todoroki, who kicked a block of ice. Kira sat up lazily and he shot her a fierce glare.

"We would have tied.... This is her fault... Didn't... See... Coming..." Todoroki thought stomping off.

"Geez what's his problem? I mean I know what his problem is, but I was only doing my job. Trying to stay on Aizawa's good side and shit."

"I have no problem!" Iida argued. "I do wish I would have won though... My family... They just watched me run around in circles didn't they?"

"How can someone with an incredibly supportive family be so worried about them all the time?" Kira wondered with an eyeroll, stretching her muscles and lazily walking over to her partner.

"I want them to be proud... You know that right? Of course you do... You're in my head after all." Iida thought back. Kira was really starting to hate whatever mind connection they had.

"They'd be proud of anything you do Iida. Damn my back hurts. I feel like shit, all that work and for what?" Kira extended her hand to Todoroki. "This probably sucks for him... I still feel bad about everything."

"Sorry for throwing a bike at you." She said. Todoroki stared at her hand and looked away stubbornly. Refusing it.

"Whatever dude, for what it's worth... You did a good job." Kira said and walked past him.

"She doesn't understand..." Todoroki's icy thoughts bounced around like an echo in her mind as she walked to Midoriya.

"Nice one." She said. He had face planted, hand outstretched and just barely pressing the flag against the starting point. A simple pole painted red and white with Nezu's head in plastic marking the top.

He got up and glared at her. "I still don't like you." He whispered, marching away.
"I wonder what Kacchan thought of our win- MY win. She didn't do anything... I Couldn't have done it without her- but she would have died without me."

Kira rolled her eyes at him. "God he's such a asshole. I swear he's clinically insane."

"Who?"

Kira shook her head. "Doesn't matter. Let's get this quirk thing sorted out."

A/N: Kira is having her darkstalker moment...

The OGs understand.
