Author's Note
This might be the first time that I've made an e-book available for everyone to read because this story was so enjoyable to write. Suddenly, it was finished ahead of other stories waiting in line to become books.
This story was inspired by a song. Listening to it gave me a feeling of loneliness and isolation, but it was strangely intriguing. Combined with my current fascination with the scent of perfumes, I decided to write a novel where perfume plays a significant role. If you've been following my work for a while, you'll know that almost every story includes a specific scent of perfume. Scents bring us back to certain events, taking us back in time to moments we cherish or despise, like Doraemon's time machine that makes us recall the details of those stories. In this story, the scent of Chanel No. 5 takes Rungtiwa back to memories of an old friend she rarely spoke to but never forgot because of the scent.
