Nova stood outside UA with the rest of her class gathered. She held onto the case containing her hero uniform and the backpack with clothes for the week. The internship was all week long and each intern stayed with their mentors overnight as well.

Meaning Nova had to leave Zoey.

She hated the idea, leaving Zoey with Karon. But she didn't have much choice. She had to remind herself that the whole time she had been staying at Junshi, Zoey had been fine with Karon. Nothing too bad could happen in a week right?

She looked down at her paper. An address written on it along with two phone numbers.

One was her mentor's, the other was Aizawa's. In case of emergencies he'd be available for contact. She wondered if he gave his number out to all of his students, or if this gesture was because of the USJ and Kain incidents. Either way Nova immediately programmed both into her simple flip phone.

"Hi Nova..." Midoriya said, walking up beside her. They were waiting for Aizawa to give them a final word before their internships. "Sorry about my questions yesterday.... I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

Nova glanced around nervously. Then back at him, then down at her shoes. "No it's okay. You didn't mean anything by it..."

"Right..." Midoriya frowned. But he remembered what Shoji said, if he singled her out and gave her a bunch of attention it would make her feel uncomfortable. He suspected she wasn't used to positive attention. So when she received any she automatically assumed it was negative. It made Midoriya a little sad, but he also understood how she must feel.

"Uraraka's going to Gunhead's agency... Iida is going to one in Hosu with a hero called Manual. I'm going with a pro I've never even heard of... What agency did you choose?" Midoriya was trying to ask her less personal pressing questions, and making her feel more comfortable by first bringing up others. He wasn't the best at small talk, but he assumed the more calm friendly conversation he made with Nova... The more she'd become adjusted to his attention and trust him. That way she wouldn't get nervous anymore.

Midoriya didn't have many friends in middle school. But he always wished someone would try this hard to be his friend. So maybe that meant he should do it for someone else. Who needed it more.

"Oh... Um..." Nova looked up at him. "A hero Named Zel... She doesn't have an agency though."

Midoriya stared at her and then a huge smile appeared on his face. "Woah no way!!! The Rebel hero? That's awesome! She sent you an offer? I don't think she's ever done that before!"

There was an excitement in his eyes that made Nova feel proud to have the offer.  "Y-yeah that's what Aizawa said... Do you think she's a good choice? I was a little unsure..."

"It's a once in a lifetime opportunity! I wonder if this means she's going to start up an agency?! If she shared her tech with other pro heroes she could create a very powerful agency and probably rocket up the rankings!" Midoriya mumbled frantically. He seemed to be very smart, and very knowledgeable on how the hero world worked. More than Nova at least, though UA has taught her a lot about it already.

"Really?" She tilted her head.

"Totally! But she might not... Her whole image is the fact that she's vastly different from other pro heroes. She works by herself but still teams with agencies. And she has no patrol territory! She's popular because she fights all across Japan! Unlike most heroes who tend to stay close by their headquarters unless teaming with someone else! You'll probably do a lot of moving around if she keeps her regular pace... Man that sounds so cool!!" He pushed with a big smile and fish pumps. "I'm jealous!"

"O-oh um... Don't be... I'm sure you'll learn a lot at yours."

"Yeah I guess... Hey! You had two offers right? Who was the other one?" He asked in curiosity.

Nova frowned nervously. She didn't want to make him feel even more bad by telling him that All Might gave her an offer as well. He also might question her about why she didn't end up choosing the number one hero.

"Oh... Someone else I wasn't very familiar with... I don't remember what the agency was called." Nova lied, immediately feeling guilty over it.

"Huh... well Zel was a great choice! You know she gets her name from-"

"Alright everyone. Get over here before you run off to your agencies." Aizawa said, interrupting Midoriya's babbling before it could even continue.

Nova and Midoriya walked over. Nova stood between him and Shoji who had been talking to Tokoyami about agencies. Apparently the bird headed boy has received an offer from Hawks. A young chart topper with a strong quirk known as; fierce wings.

"You're going to be training with professionals. Some of you might be put in actual combat environments. Since you're unlicensed you will not be engaging in direct combat." Aizawa said, crossing his arms. "I trust you all will be on your best behavior. Treat your mentors and everyone you meet with respect and try not to cause any trouble for them. Understood?"

"Yes sir!" The class said in unison before being sent on their way. Some were were taking a UA bus to the train station because of how far their chosen agencies were. But the address Zel gave her actually wasn't very far from UA. Nova could take a regular bus to it.

She said a final goodbye to Shoji and Midoriya. Waving to Uraraka as her and Iida climbed onto the bus. Nova noticed the tall boy, who hadn't spoken to her at all. He seemed... Focused. Intensely focused.

It made Nova feel uneasy.

The address led Nova to a rather large house in the center of Musutafu. It wasn't an agency that's for sure, but it certainly seemed to be expensive. With a boxy modern design and a wall Nova's height surrounding it. Nova could see the actual house through the gate up front, seemed pretty big for just one person.

She stood there for a moment, before tapping a doorbell to alert whoever was home to her presence.

The gates swung open immediately. And Nova stared at them for a few moments before walking in slowly. She felt like she was invading. Like if someone saw her from the street they'd assume she was breaking in.

She walked up a concrete path to the actual house and knocked on the door. No one answered. She waited a few long seconds before knocking again.

"Come innnnn!!!" A distant female voice yelled. Nova could hardly hear it, whoever it was must be too far away from the door to answer it.

Nova let herself in. Walking into the big foyer area. Everything seemed nice, not crazy expensive like the house looked. There wasn't much furniture or decorations though. The house seemed to lack personal touch.

Unless you counted the hero gear hanging from a coat rack as decorative. Nova didn't know what it was but it seemed strapy, with a belt covered in mechanical boxes. Nova couldn't tell what it was.

Nova kept walking towards noises she heard in another room. Until she noticed something...

Hair.

Every surface in the house had at least one or two black hairs. Ranging from the length of Nova's current hair, to the length of her old hair and longer.

"Hellooooooo?!"

The voice called and Nova quickly followed it. Down the halls to a living room. Sitting on the floor was a woman, or at least as far as Nova could tell she was a woman. Because she was absolutely covered in hair. That seemed to have come from her own head.

Long black locks of strong hair wrapped around her and she was seemingly trying to untangle herself. "Hey you must be Kurayami! It's totally awesome to meet you. I would have answered the door but as you can see... I'm a little tied up right now."

"Oh... That's okay." Nova said with a look of polite shock and confusion. "You can call me Nova..."

"Right! Nova! Nice to meet you Nova!" She smiled up at Nova and then looked back down at her body.

'You wouldn't happen to have like... A pocket knife... Would you?"
