Ragini was placing her head on bob's shoulders and hugging his right arm tightly.
Bob:seems someone is so upset!
Ragini:Bob am i not beautiful?
Bob:did someone say you aren't beautiful?
Ragini:that Ranbeer don't like my presence, leave him but that nerd he called me ugly!
Bob: it's all their views. Let me tell you a story it was my naani who told me the story when i was small. There was a girl named Heera. She was too ugly and her complexion of her skin was dark and people used to taunt her calling her kaali and you mock her with outer appearance.
Ragini:then?
Bob:and one day she got to tired listening this. Even her own family kept distance with her.. and she found herself as a useless and one deep night she left the village. But once after she died all the village turned dark because she was the only one who made Diya. And nobody else knew to make it. And they regretted as if they went other village they demanded so much price for it but Heera used to take a little amount of price which made herself only cheap among the peoples.She returned after a year where people were firing a stick which also resulted in getting their home to burn.everyone welcomed her giving the respect even themselves offered deserving price for her work.that time there wasn't any technology or neither women were given freedom to move out but heera went out and discovered herself and also found a partner,who himself approached her with the proposal as he found her very different from other.and who loved her more than her appearance.they didn't value her when she was with them ealier anyways.that's why i say...you should never leave your self respect in front of someone. if one find you not valuable at first impression they would let you down until the rest of your life.
Ragini: I didn't let my self respect....
She remembered when Ranbeer applied cinder on her.
Bob:Ranbeer won't understand it until you stop giving him attention. To be frank he is a attention seeker. For him more then someone's emotions, he needs attention. And the other one you said I don't know. Because you say he helped you many times and also you disturbed him. It's like you invited the troubles.
Ragini:Bob..I Love Ranbeer.
Bob:see again you are doing the same mistake.you cannot be happy with him.even if he agrees to be with you.even if he loves you someday but he won't change because his nature settled with insulting you always.so he hurt you even if he loves you.
Ragini:you are saying this because you don't want me to end up with him.
Bob:i really don't want.i am just silent because your promise or else i would have said this to Janki mam long back.you know one need a soulmate who would be with you no matter what...
Ragini:then where is my mumma's soulmate?
He got silent.
She cries:if that so why she isn't having one in her life.why my mumma's soulmate isn't with her when she needs the most.she works day and night just to hide her pain from me that doesn't mean I don't understand.
He left out a breath:Ragini..i am saying this to you because I don't want history to repeat again!
Ragini:you know why my dad left us?why? didn't he once felt to see me once.
Bob smiles and wipes her tears and cups her cheeks:do you need your dad?
She nods in yes.
He slowly leaves her cheeks,hurt depicted on his face.
She quickly holds his wrist:No.. I don't need!
He smiles through tears and hugs her:Then would you listen to one thing.
Ragini looks at him.
Bob:Ranbeer is not the one for you!
She bends her head and cries.
Bob:You know that but leave this stubbornness and obsession.you have a bright future ahead.yeh Ranbeer ki zid chod dho.
Ragini smiles in between sobs:okay chod diya.
He smiles and kisses her forehead.
Ragini: I don't want Ranbeer anymore.
Bob:and after this I won't ask to sacrifice anything!
Ragini smiles though it hurt her,anyways She lost Ranbeer.
Bob:Your mother have given you everything which not even some father can give.so it's your time now you should make her proud. Her happiness lies on you. If you only stay sad or hurt then how would she feel.so it's your responsibility to not to get distracted on which you are not given the respect you deserve.don't forget the standard you are having,you should maintain it.
Ragini nods:i want the noodles.
He passes her a look:okay..
He smiles.
He goes to cook noodles.
While Ragini opens her phone and sees a unknown number text which she got an hour back.
"hai"
Ragini:who?
"Who is this?"she replies.
And calls pari and informs her that she is staying back at home.
Ragini's widens when she sees the text.
"Your Boyfriend"
Ragini shrinks her eyes.
"Don't try to be over smart with me.i will block you" she replies.
"Blocking me is impossible.hopefully you paid my coffee bill today evening!" His reply reveals her who actually he was!
Ragini:nerd!!
"You are not interested with girls right how come you are showing interest on me"he reads her reply.
When he was reading the book.small smile appears on his face.
" Because they are not you and you are not them" he replies.
While 3 of his friends were observing.
Arjun:bade bhaiyya..you are smiling texting someone.am i dreaming?
Rithik:that too leaving your book aside.
Prithvi: that's really shocking okay.we don't expect such behavior from you!
Sanskar:Your expectations..none of my business.
Trio:Jerk!
Ragini:is he mad.didn't he call me ugly this evening. weirdo!!!
"Sir.. didn't i look ugly for you.isn't you the same or i am dreaming?please clear!!"she replies.
And moves to kitchen and sits in slab.
Bob:whose text it is?
Ragini:n...no one!
He passes her a look with a teasing smile.
Ragini:what?
Bob:nothing.
"I like ugly you" she opens her mouth in shock.
She opens her mouth to yell but stops seeing bob.
Bob:what?
While Sanskar smiles broadly and sees the three..who were giving him a look:what?
Rithik:who is it on the other side?
Sanskar:it isn't your Pudina don't worry!
Arjun and Prithvi laughs.
Rithik:Tina..
He gets sad remembering her.
Arjun:then who is it Sanky? Bhabhi urf behna?
Sanskar:none of your business.
Arjun:Can i listen something new?
Sanskar:listen lectures, something might help!
Arjun joins his palms:am sorry. Spare me!
"What's this going on.you didn't like my presence.you didn't wanted to help me in 10 days.now what magic happened?"he reads her text and smiles.
" Yes exactly I didn't wanted to help you in 10 days" she reads it.
Ragini:what he meant?
Bob:what are you blabbering I can't understand?
Ragini:nothing.
He serves the noodles.
"And about magic...... to be frank It's you happened!" She reads it.
" I happened what?"he reads it.
Arjun peeps when Sanskar turns and passes him a look.
Arjun smiles sheepishly:I was just passing.
"You are matured enough to understand what i meant!"she reads it.
Bob:Ragini keep the phone aside and have food.
Ragini herself:he is playing with me..
She keeps the phone aside and starts to eat noodles.
"No sir,i really don't want to understand you.and please don't irritate me take it as a heartfelt request!"he reads her text and smiles.
" It seems you already understood,if didn't have patience you will understand it very soon!"he replies.
He opens the book.remembering her smile.his lips broke into a broad smile.
After the dinner Ragini changes into a night dress and falls on the bed and reads his text.
She quickly moves out and sees Bob who was approaching to her room.
He sees her:what happened?
She grins:Good night bob!
Bob smiles:good night. Don't hang on phone more you will get the dark circles.
He was about to turn.
Ragini:you also don't work in laptops. You would also get the dark circles.
He smiles.
While she quickly closes the door and locks it.
And she sits on the bed folding her legs.
Ragini:this nerd...he is testing my patience,he don't know the real me.
She dials his number.
While he was reading the book when his phone vibrates.
And he sees the caller ID "Ms.Girlfriend!"
He sees the trio were watching a movie in laptop.
So he moves out to balcony and closes the door.
Sanskar picks the call.
Ragini:You think yourself smart.i was just behind you because of Ranbeer.now he is only nothing to me then why you to me.even we could have been a friends but you don't worth it.first reason,you didn't help me.second reason you are unusually confusing me with the weird behavior and third reason you called me ugly and the fourth reason you are taking me as granted and flirting with me whenever you want.mujhse panga bohoth mehenga padega!
Sanskar:uh oh..so many reasons but i do have only one reason.
Ragini:what?
Sanskar:You are my Girlfriend!
Ragini:what girlfriend girlfriend girlfriend??let me remind you,you even didn't wanted to accept me as the fake one for just 10 days.now what happened Sir would you mind to tell me?
Sanskar:simple I want you as my real one and only girlfriend.who will be only mine to the entire life!
She was shocked and speechless.
He smiles a bit.
She was all silent,the feeling of clutched heart or if she is feeling heavy to breath, didn't mind her because she was totally blank.
After some minutes
Sanskar:Ragini are you there?
She couldn't speak a word.she blinks her eyes:what?
He smiles : Can't believe the nerd you met some day ago can speak other things then the books?
Ragini bites her lower lip:but I don't L....
She just couldn't continue with "Love you"
Ragini:i am sleepy!
She disconnects the call.
He smiles looking at the moon.
He always had a special person place empty.it was that he was waiting for her.
Ragini covers the Comfort on her:what is happening.i am surely dreaming all this..that nerd what and all he did...why i just can't speak directly with him like i did earlier.
Next day...
Bob drops Ragini to the college but she was in the freeze mode actually she can't stop thinking about the nerd.
Bob:Chalo we reached your college.
She composes and looks at him:bye bob.miss you again!
While he pats her head.
She gets down the car and was about to move.
Bob:Ragini..
She turns.
Bob:you showed a guy..remembers you told me he is bookish the one you spoke about last night..
Ragini nods.
Bob: what's his name?
Ragini:Sanskar..
Bob:full name..
Ragini:bob..!!
Bob:just curious..nothing else.
Ragini: I don't know may be nerd only.
He smiles nodding his head.
Ragini:I am going bye.
He smiles:bye..remember the last night promise.
She nods and goes.and he leaves from there.
She was stepping in slowly looking around carefully.first time in the history of her life she is scared of someone like this.
Pari from behind:boo!
Ragini gets startled and angrily:Parii.
Pari:so how was the date with Campus Crush..
Ragini:Oh yeah it was...
She raise a book to hit her while Pari runs and she chases her.
Pari runs towards the garden shouting:sorry sorry sorry!
While Ragini was chasing her when she was about to hold her.but she slips and was about to fall when Sanskar held her wrist.
Ragini opens her eyes and finds herself safe.
She turns to Sanskar and then Pari.who was signing like pressing her finger on either sides of her forehead as if she is taking the evil eye.
Ragini:why didn't i fall?
She tries to free her wrist without turning but he was in no mood to leave her.
Ragini turns and stretches her lips:Thankyou..and please now i am safe so you can..
Sanskar:what if i say no?
Ragini looks around as everyone are seeing them:All are seeing us?
Sanskar:so what?i am letting everyone know that ....
He smiles.
Ragini shrinks her eyes:know what?
Sanskar:know that we are a couple and taken!
Ragini shocked:Haan?!
