yeonjun woke up the next morning with the feeling of dread in his stomach. he stared up at his ceiling for a while before reaching for his phone.
he opened his chat with arin and reread their messages. he sighed as he looked over the photos again. nothing made sense. why did arin send him screenshots of her and soobin's conversations?

since riki told yeonjun that he confronted us then he just started being annoying and decided to start drama

yeonjun keeps reading the messages over and over again. it broke his heart seeing how soobin kept telling yeonjun he loved him while he was saying all that stuff behind his back.
all the pieces have connected together. everything that has happened throughout the summer made sense. soobin did change after school started. he cared more for yeonjun and pampered him.
the only reason soobin changed and went back to yeonjun was because he got rejected by arin. he kept yeonjun as insurance so that even if arin didn't like him back, he'd still have yeonjun as his boyfriend.
how could soobin even live with the guilt of doing such a thing to his partner. he never planned on telling yeonjun what he did and that's what hurts most.
all of soobin's friends knew what was going on and never felt the need to tell yeonjun. even arin didn't tell him until now. she said it wasn't important and that she only sent the screenshots to him because she was going through her camera roll.
riki told yeonjun that arin was telling soobin stuff like "if yeonjun cared about you he'd try harder" or "you should break up with him if he doesn't make you happy"
in the end yeonjun was betrayed by everyone.
it's nothing new though, everyone always ends up leaving.
even though it hurts really bad, yeonjun being the idiot he is, he forgave soobin. it was in the past and soobin says he regrets it and only loves yeonjun.
he's always being left behind. he can't let soobin slip away again. he can't live without him, his life depends on soobin. yeonjun is too attached.
time skip
throughout the day, yeonjun has been petty. everytime soobin would play fight with the other, he'd say "i don't love you anymore" jokingly and yeonjun would respond with "yeah you love arin"
soobin told yeonjun to stop saying stuff like that because it makes him feel horrible but yeonjun isn't going to stop. if you mess up with him, he'll hold it against you for a long time.

yeonjun knew it upsets soobin when he says that but just because he forgave the other, doesn't mean he's not mad.
soobin wants to go back to how they were before and pretend nothing has happened just so he can feel better about himself but yeonjun won't play along with him.
he was confused and hurt for months and now that the truth is out, he won't let soobin manipulate him into thinking what he has done is acceptable.
yeonjun did forgive him because he loves him but he knows it's wrong. he knows he shouldn't forgive him at all because it's not his first time making mistakes.
whenever he made a tiny mistake, soobin would barely talk to him for the whole day. so how come everything is okay for soobin to do and not allowed for yeonjun.
soobin said he didn't want anyone knowing what he's done as in yeonjun's friends finding out because he's "ashamed" but he should've thought about that before he decided to think about cheating on yeonjun.
what would've happened if arin didn't reject soobin? how was he going to break up with yeonjun? was he really just going to throw away everything they had?
