90: 𝐻𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑜... 𝑆ℎ𝑜𝑡𝑜 ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒
Kira sighed at the door. Knowing full well All Might had failed to tell her classmates about her and Todoroki's arrival.
But maybe that was a good thing, having Kira there to help explain would definitely help things along. She was the last one he directly betrayed, so they would listen when SHE said to give him a chance.
Not to mention how much they trusted her opinions on almost everything. She just had to convince them that Todoroki was harmless... Before a certain Blonde tried to murder him.
"Maybe I should just stay with my mom..." Shoto whispered. The two had obviously been reunited earlier. Many tears were shed and apologies were whispered in-between sobs. While Kira and Mrs Rei's new bodyguard just stood by awkwardly. It was great.
"They don't even have to know I'm here." He suggested.
"Bad idea. If they so much as see you on campus without any explanation they'll freak. We need to talk with them, just... Let me lead okay?" Kira asked, adjusting his glasses. "Follow me."
"I can't see... It's too dark to be wearing these..." He Mumbled. Looking through his sunglasses, that were big and dark enough to block his eyes and most of his scar from sight.
"You look cool. Like a mysterious... Hipster." Kira said with hesitation, pulling his beanie over a tuft of red hair.
"...I'm..." He stopped and sighed. "Let's just go in." Shoto said, jaw set. "Can't... Scared... Hide... Soldier... Hero..."
"It's okay to be scared Shoto. You're a kid, not a soldier." Kira reassured him with a smile.
He stared at her. Then reached up and brushed her head, right beside her scars. It was impulsive and random. He hadn't thought much about the action before he did it.
"I'm sorry... For everything... You're such a good person. You didn't have to forgive me... Let alone get me out of jail and risk your life to make sure my mother was safe..." He whispered. Brushing hair from her forehead.
"It was just the right thing to do Shoto..." She took his hand and gently guided it away. The gesture was sweet but a part of her found it awkward. "You're a good person too. You deserve better than how you've been treated.. I want to give you a new chance."
"I don't think there are many people... Who would just give that chance to someone like me." He looked down at her. "She's... Hero... Extraordinary..."
"Maybe." Kira shrugged and walked up the steps to the dorms and put out her hand towards him. "But that doesn't mean you don't deserve it."
He smiled softly, and took her hand.

"Hiya guys!" Kira said, walking into the dorms boldly. Todoroki lingered to the side, somewhat hiding in the hallway.
"KIRA!!!" Her classmates all yelled in perfect unison, rushing towards her. She was hugged by several individuals in rapid succession.
"I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEADDDD!!!" Mina wailed, sobbing into Kira's neck.
"YOU'RE OKAY!!" Denki and Jirou said with huge smiles. "Are you back to stay?!"
"Yep!" Kira smiled back at them. Mina still holding onto her shoulders.
"Kira!!" Kirishima hugged her, even though Mina was still holding on. "Last I saw her she was unconscious in a hospital bed... Before that she was dying in my arms..." Keia felt his grip tighten just slightly before he pulled back. "Wow you look so manly- hey we have matching scars!"
He said, pointing at the small scar over his eyebrow. Though it wasn't nearly as big as the scars over Kira's eye, they both were on the same sides. His looked like a mini version of one of hers.
She laughed softly and hugged him again.
All Might coughed, wearing a smile of his own. "Since All for one escaped and Shigaraki is reaching completion... We knew the safest place for them was here." He said once they were pretty much done greeting her.
"What do you mean, Them?" Ojirou asked with a frown. The other students glanced between Kira and her uncle who turned red.
"Is someone else here?"
"Wow random pronoun change... I accept you Kira."
"ANSWER MY FUCKING TEXTS DUMBASS!!!"
"Right... Don't freak out." Kira put her hands up. "But I'm not alone." She said, backing up.
Her classmates watched with growing unease. Why would she tell them not to freak out?! That only made them want to freak out.
Kira looked to the side down the hallway. Waving someone over.
Todoroki rubbed his arms, still wearing the quirk restraints. Two bands over each bicep. If he used his quirk even a little bit it would knock him out. He was to wear them all the time unless given permission by Detective Naomasa to take them off. Meaning he was basically quirkless.
He stepped out and reached up. Taking off the glasses and Beanie.
"AHHHH!!!" Denki screeched, hiding behind Jiro and pointing at Todoroki.
"TODOROKI?!"
"I THOUGHT HE WAS IN JAIL!!!"
"DIDN'T HE KIDNAP YOU?!"
"No way! But she was the one who told me to make sure he was arrested in the first place!!!"
"IM GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU-"
Bakugou charged forward while everyone else stared at their old classmate in shock. Bakugou didn't make it all the way there though, he was tackled down from the side.
Kira wrapped her arms around him in a hug and then hooked his knee with one of her legs, causing him to lose balance and crumble into his back. "KATSUKI!!" Kira said with a smile. "I missed you."
He struggled on the floor, Kira still hugging him a and holding him back. "WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING HERE?!" He screamed, sitting up with Kira's arms wrapped around him from behind.
"I SAID DON'T FREAK OUT!!!" Kira yelled at him. "Just let him explain!!"
"Explain?!" Mina asked in shock. "Explain what?! Why you betrayed us?!"
Kira grit her teeth. Keeping her arms tight around Bakugou's shoulders. She could feel their anger and confusion and fear. Their reactions almost reminded her of the anger Bakugou had felt back when she had told him about her quirk.
He hadn't given her a chance to explain herself. She would make sure Todoroki had that chance.
"Kira's right! Perhaps we should hear them out! We didn't give him a chance last time." Iida agreed, stepping closer to Todoroki.
"Exactly. All of you need to calm down immediately!" All Might commanded. Standing by Todoroki, putting a hand on hai shoulder.
He looked up in shock at the man as he stood by his side. Despite everything he had done.
"I want to hear him out but... Didn't Midoriya say he killed Mineta? And Kidnapped Kira?" Momo asked, holding her hands against her heart. "Even if we gave him a chance, how could he possibly be out of jail?"
"He escaped when All for one did didn't he?!" Bakugou asked, craning his head to look at Kira behind him.
"Of course not!" Kira said back. "He's been out for almost a week. Since Midoriya got back." She explained.
"How?!" They all asked.
All Might sighed. "Me and Kira dropped the charges against him. Kira refused to act as a witness and he recanted his confession."
"But you told me-" Midoriya stepped up eyes wide.
"Must've been some crazy dream you had... But that won't hold up in a court of law." Kira grunted. Still holding back Bakugou, he was struggling less against her now though. Just sitting and sending Todoroki the most heinous glare he could muster.
"What?! It wasn't just a dream! You know that!" Midoriya argued. "You can't take that away! We had a moment! How could you ignore that!"
"I need everyone to calm down! Bakugou, Kira. Get off the floor." All Might ordered, he really was starting to sound like Mr Aizawa now.
Kira stood up, hand in Bakugou's. It would be romantic, but her grip was deadly strong. Telling him to stay in place and NOT kill Todoroki. Even though he really wanted too
They stood in silence. Waiting for All might or Kira to say something. Todoroki hadn't spoke a word this entire time, just stood there with a blank expression.
Until now.
They watched as Todoroki sunk to his knees, bowing his arms and head to the floor. Prostrating himself in apology before his classmates.
His voice was rough and sore as he cried out. Tears falling onto the hardwood floors he was bowing over.
"PLEASE FORGIVE ME!!"
