Getting knocked out wasn't on Kira's to-do list. Especially not for this raid.
But when rocks from the ceiling dropped down towards Eri she jumped to push her out of the way. The injuries from this action weren't all that bad. One rock hit the side of her head, she stumbled away from the other rocks
as they fell and then lost consciousness.
She woke up in a stretcher outside of the giant hole made by the dragon hero; Ryuko. There were police and armoured cop cars, along with ambulances and more pros.
Kira had missed the final fight. She shot up, putting a hand to her throbbing head. That and her back hurts like hell, she had almost forgotten about that stab wound. But now her adrenaline had run out and she was feeling everything.
But something was more important than her pain. Eri, she had to find her. Eri was there when she got knocked out, she no doubt got upset over it. Kira had to show the kid she was okay.
"Woah there." A familiar voice said, putting a hand on her uninjured shoulder. "You're not going anywhere kid."
"Aizawaaaa." Kira groaned, slumping back onto her chest. They had her laying on her stomach so she didn't put pressure on the back of her head or on her stab wound. "Where's Eri? Is she ok?"
"She's being taken to a hospital, so is Mirio, RockLock, Kirishima and... And nighteye." He explained.
"Are they okay?! How's it look for Nighteye and Eri... Eri didn't get hurt did she?" Kira asked him question after question. "Where's Kirishima and Fatgum? And Tamaki-"
"Woah hold on..." Aizawa chuckled. "Your classmates are all okay. Along with Fatgum and Rock Lock. They took damage but nothing insanely critical. Eri wasn't hurt but she's being taken anyways. They need to give her a full checkup and create legal documents for her. But Nighteye..." He sighed. "It's not looking good for him."
"Fuck." Kira whispered, holding her forehead in her palm.
"You're going to the hospital soon. We were both lower priority because our wounds weren't severe. But it won't be long before they pack us off too." Aizawa explained. "You did good. I'm proud of you."
Kira smiled slightly. "Thanks."
"All that to say... I'm suspending your license." He said with a frown.
"Oh come on." Kira whined. "Really?!"
"Yes really. You took and shot a gun without permission Kira. That's illegal. And I told all of you students if the league gets involved I wanted you out. You had found out and had opportunity to backtrack but didn't. Even though you knew it's what I would have wanted you to do." Aizawa explained. "I think it's best for you to get a little more training before being thrown into a situation like this again. You can still work at the police station, but you're not allowed in combat unless necessary."
"Ugh. Fine." Kira mumbled. "I did what I wanted to anyways. I don't regret it."
"I know you don't kid." He chuckled and ruffled her hair. "Don't worry, you'll get to see Eri soon. But right now you need to take care of yourself."
"Whatever." She sighed. "So Midoriya beat his ass didn't he? Lucky bastard. I wanted to kill him."
"But you didn't, which is good self control." Aizawa nodded. Knowing damn well Kira could have shot at him when she was down there.
"Hey." Kira looked up at him. "Do me a favor."
"What's that?" Aizawa asked, kneeling down to look closer at her.
"Call... Call my uncle. Not just about me though. Tell him about Nighteye... He'll... They need to see each other...
One last time."

Kira opened the door to the hospital room. Her head had a bandage wrapped around it and she was wearing her school uniform. Another bandage tight around her back and chest. "Eri!" Kira whispered with a wide smile.
It had been about a day since the raid. She just heard that Eri woke up. Technically she wasn't supposed to go in, something about her quirk being too dangerous. But Kira didn't really give a shit.
Eri was sitting up on her bed, no one was in the room yet. She turned, eyes widening in surprise and she inhaled sharply in excitement. Eri didn't know how to express her delight. But Kira could tell by her thoughts and emotions that she was happy to see that Kira was okay.
"F-friend?" Eri asked nervously.
Kira walked in and carefully hugged the small girl. Like she had done earlier when they first met face to face. Tightly and gently. "Eri I'm so glad you're okay." Kira whispered.
"Friend." Eri said again in a more happy tone. Not like a child would usually say, you were barely able to tell just how excited she was. Eri wasn't that expressive, especially not with positive emotions. That made Kira curse Chisaki even more.
Eri didn't even know how to be happy, what it was like to feel real Joy. Kira would do anything to see her smile, even if just once.
"My name is Kira, Kira Kokoa." Kira pulled back slowly. "If you want to call me that."
"Ko..ko?" Eri asked. Kira didn't correct her, Koko had grown into a nickname for her. Even Denki and Kirishima used it occasionally. Kira wouldn't let Eri call her any name she wanted. "Thank you... F-for coming." "I haven't seen much people... Except the man with they red glowy eyes... He was nice too."
"You're welcome Eri. I'm just really happy you're okay now." Kira smiled, sitting on the bed next to her.
"Are you... Okay? So many people... Got hurt because of me." Eri looked down at her hands, tears in her eyes.
Kira took her hands and held them up. "No Eri. We wanted to save you, to make you happy. It wasn't your fault." Kira siad with a smile, holding Eri's hands. "And now you're okay! And we're all really happy about it."
"But... You got bumped on the head." Eri frowned.
"Worth it." Kira chuckled. "Besides, it gets bumped on the head a lot."
"You do?" Eri asked.
"Yep. It's part of being a hero I guess." Kira shrugged. "So how has it been? I mean I know you just got here but... Are you okay? Is there anything you want? Anything that's bothering you?" She asked.
Eri blinked a few times. "No... I'm fine..."
"I don't want to bother anyone anymore... I do wish I had some fruit... Some apples...." Eri thought nervously. "I'm kinda hungry..."
"How about some apples?" Kira offered with a hopeful smile.
Eri looked up quickly. Blinking rapidly. "How did she know that?" She wondered as she nodded. "S-sure."
"Alright. I'll go find you some, sit tight okay?" Kira said, standing up. She wasn't worried about explaining her quirk to Eri yet. She'd give her some time to adjust and get used to everything before she tried to talk about it.
But Kira smiled to herself, she truly was extremely happy to see Eri safe and sound. Knowing Overhaul was in prison.
Without arms.
Dispite how mad everyone else was about the league busting into his transport van and literally dismembering him. Kira couldn't help but feel a certain satisfaction in knowing he met such a well deserved fate.
That made her a little happy too.
