128: 𝐴𝑠ℎ
"Fierce wings."
"Float."
"Air cannon!"
"Luminescence!~"
Kira cast a glance at Hakko's vestige. Which was barely visible to her. "Is luminescence necessary?" She asked him.
He gave her a huge smile and a wink. "You look even prettier when you're glowing~"
Kira rolled her eyes and focused on her target. Several lights in her vision, each representing a quirk.
"Search is locked on to Shigaraki!" Ragdoll informed her. The cat hero's quirk had been stolen after the attack on the summer camp. She had been kidnapped just like Bakugo, her vestige sealed within All for one.
Kira was moving faster than a bullet. A combination of the fastest quirks, along with quirks to aid in flight we're used to force her forward.
Going this speed normally would have killed Kira, at least causing her to pass out due to lack of oxygen and other complications. Humans weren't made to travel this fast on their own, with no equipment or machines to protect them.
But Kira wasn't bound by the laws of nature anymore.
"You're close! Within warp range of the Target." A man said. Kira hadn't seen much of him. He had sickly looking skin and scraggly tangled hair covering his eyes. The original holding of All for one's goowarp quirk.
"That won't be necessary." Kira said.
"One problem. Our army is between you and Shigaraki. You won't have enough time to slow down completely at this point. Going over them will result in you speeding into the mountains." Hawks reminded her.
"That's not a problem! Time for my quirk." Oboro said with a grin, cracking his knuckles. "Use a few of those quirk strengthening powers to expand your range."
Kira nodded. Traveling so quickly... And yet it felt like time had slowed whenever she talked with the vestiges.
"Cloud."
Originally a close range quirk born in Oboro Shirakumo. Now enhanced by the hundreds possessed by All for one... No. By Kira Kokoa.
The ability to create and control clouds that process physical density. Strong enough to be touched and hold weight while being able to float in the sky.
"Clear the way Shirakumo."

The battle raged on. Bakugou and his other students charged forward with the force of a legion. Driven by anger and revenge.
Aizawa felt neither of those.
He felt... Sick... Completely and utterly depressed... Full of grief and regret.
Worst of all he felt... Familiar with these emotions. He had been there. Before. Standing looking into the rubbage from the outside. Unable to do anything... Useless.
He had done everything... Faught tooth and nail. He lost a leg and an eye and the ability to fully use his quirk. All to protect them... All to prevent this feeling from consuming him once again...
It was all his fault.
...........
"Don't say that... Mr Aizawa you've done everything for us." Kira shook her head, still sobbing. "You taught us... You cared about us... You protected and loved us... This isn't your fault."
Aizawa stared ahead, tears running down one cheek as he patted her back. "I'm so proud of you Kira..."
Kira let out another sob, clinging to him tightly. "I just want everything to go back to how it was... I miss everything being normal." She whispered. "I want to go back to when everyone was safe... And you were our teacher. And my biggest concern was passing a stupid training exercise!"
She wanted to live.
"I know... I know you do. I'm so sorry Kira." Aizawa hugged her tightly, holding her in his strong, fatherly arms.
"We're going to get through this, you're going to be okay. I will do everything in my power to make sure you all survive this. That you survive this and graduate, and become amazing pro heroes!"
"I love you- y-y-you're like a dad to me... You know that right?"
"I know Kira. I know and I love you too." He nodded. "Everything is going to be okay. We will win this." He assured her.
..........
Had he lied?
No it wasn't as simple as that. He had spoken something to her he couldn't guarantee. Made a promise he was unable to fulfill. Why? To give her false hope?
To make her believe that anything could happen? That heroes always win and the villains lost? To dilute reality to one of a comic book? Or fairytale?
He lied to his student. Because nothing was alright. Because even though they had an army... They were losing to a single man.
The boy they had put their faith in was quirkless. He was trying, Aizawa gave him that. But Izuku Midoriya had lost his quirks and his fire. Running only on embers.
Aizawa was nothing but ash.
His hope was practically gone. He couldn't help it. He had lost his youth and with it that glint of faith in his eye. He didn't have the strength for delusion anymore.
He stared ahead as the remainder of his class charged forward. Or at least most of them. Where was Uraraka? Todoroki and Iida? Tokoyomi? Where were all of his kids?
He should pull the ones fighting out now. Prevent any further losses. The pros could fight without them. He'd take them back to UA where it was safe. In the fortress with Eri and Kota. Where he could heal and protect them all.
They would hate that... He knew it. He couldn't take them from this battlefield. Not while they were in the mist of combat already.
Not that Aizawa could move anyways. He stood frozen.
"Shota! Shota!"
The voice of his coworker and friend Mic was muffled. Drowned out by Aizawa's fear and the sounds of the battle raging before them.
Shigaraki was more of a massive clump of hands and flesh. Less like a snake as before and more of a mountain. He was somewhere protected in the middle. Fighting as a coward did.
Aizawa couldn't move.
Until he was forced aside.
"Ah! what's happening?!" Hagakure yelled, through the crowd a massive form moved like smoke. Cutting through them and making a wall.
A... Cloud?
The cloud acted as a line pointing at Shigaraki. Then split vertically in two. Each part slowly moving, forcing the crowd to separate. Making a large empty space, like a runaway straight towards Shigaraki.
Aizawa felt gentle mist on his skin as he was picked up and moved to the side with great care.
"What type of quirk is this?!" Kirishima asked, attempting to punch the cloud. It blocked him from Shigaraki as intended. Which made him mad. Tears ran down his cheeks, he felt so useless... It wasn't fair. While Kira was dying he had been fighting some dumb clones. He had been in range of All for one only to immediately be blown away. If he had been powerful like Bakugo, Midoriya or Kira... He could have helped prevent her death.
But he was useless and weak compared to them. The gods of their world.
Suddenly there was a loud noise.
It sounded like... A jet. Or a missile. Like when a fast plane flies over your house, or a nascar passes you on the race track. It sounded like... Speed.
Something was approaching rapidly, and it wasn't going to stop either. That noise combined with the timing of these clouds...
"GUYS STAY BEHIND THE CLOUDS!!!" Kirishima suddenly yelled. The other heroes had been trying to breach them to get back to Shigaraki. Not knowing about the impending attack.
He turned and looked towards the noise. The object was far and small, it was rapidly getting closer to them. All he was a gold glow and massive red wings. Was it Hawks? Maybe. But last Kirishima saw her wasn't doing so good.
The clouds rose and curved towards them. Obviously trying to prevent them from getting in the way of whoever was approaching. But they were still just clouds. Meaning some people broke through.
"DIE CLOUDS!!!"
"BAKUGO!!!"
Bakugou blow a hole through the coulds. Blinded by anger and rage. Kirishima bolted towards him and grabbed him by his shoulders pulling him back right as the mystery flying person zoomed past.
The mere speed of the flyer was fast enough to send a shock wave, the clouds dissolved and the wind pushed the crowds back.
Aizawa stared in shock. Looking at the cloud he was sitting on. It looked so.. familiar. Nostalgic. He had seen them before. In training when he was a kid. These were Oboro's. But... That was impossible.
"Shota!" Mic said, finally reaching him and grabbing the man by his shoulders. He had bits of cloud stuck in his hair. Which no longer stood on end. "Snap out of it man! We still have to win this!"
The flying object collided head on with Shigaraki. Like he was peiced through the chest. It hit right we're his actual body was hidden and forced it out thr other side. The object lost its momentum but held it's prize.
The build up mass he had been controlling collapsed due to his control being severed. The heroes ran around it, climbing to see the battle that was starting. They could already hear more hits being thrown by the two gods.
All for one vs.... All for one?
