118: 𝑇ℎ𝑒 ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑜 𝑘𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑟

Kira glanced to the side, still following All Might and all for one's fight. One that was quickly moving around the abandoned city.
"We have a shadow..." She thought with a frown. She wasn't the only one following behind the two. There was another person, one she only interacted with once...
Stain, the hero killer.
He had been released from jail along with all for one and the others. But... Kira didn't quite see him as a problem. He might've killed several pros and injured almost a hundred but...
He was completely devoted to her uncle.
Despite her efforts all for one still managed to hit her uncle several times. Hard. Kira just wasn't talented enough with this warpgate quirk to keep up with them. It completely frustrated her, scared her.
When All might thought about nighteye's vision he noted Kira hadn't been in it... What if this was it? What if he died because Kira couldn't keep up? Because she couldn't support him. Because she was failing, just like his armour was doomed too.
Piece by piece it fell apart. Each move he used only seemed to work once. All for one was completely destroying every addition to his suit. And it was just a machine. Unlike humans they can't just evolve when put under stress. Every item has its breaking point. Unlike flesh it can't simply heal.
Unlike All for one... All damage done to her uncle was permeant. He didn't regenerate. His wounds didn't close themselves. All for one sustained no permeant damage.
He did get younger though.
The two weaved between the buildings. Now playing a game of cat and mouse in an alleyway. Who the cat was and who played the mouse was yet to be determined. The two foes bantered and yelled to spur the other on. In reality her uncle was just trying to keep him distracted. Keep him busy. Until his time ran out.
Spears came from the walls of the buildings her uncle was climbing between. His gear looking like Shoji's tentacles. The spears stabbed into him and Kira cried out, just now close enough. She warped his body away before All for one could hit him while he was trapped. He fell out on the roof. Only for all for one to create two giant floating heads. Kira stared in shock, she hadn't even noticed him create them.
They flew and tried to bite All Might, he dodged the first and Kira opened a portal infront of him. They flew out going God knows where. She did that sometimes, warping things and not knowing exactly where they ended up. She hoped the heads didn't end up doing any horrible damage somewhere with civilians.
"What happened to your smile?!" All for one yelled as her uncle's expression shifted. He received more damage, his suit's AI sent several alerts. Telling him all of the dangers. How injured his own body was. "You're being recorded are you not?! ARE YOU OKAY WITH ALL OF JAPAN WATCHING THEIR SYMBOL OF PEACE FALL?!"
To Kira's surprise when he sent another attack it wasn't towards him... It was towards her. Two beams of energy flew towards her faster than the speed of light. She fell off the building she had been on, all for one used this Opportunity to attack All Might.
"KIRA-"
He punched All Might with an exaggerated fist. Shattering parts of his suit and cracking open the concrete.
"Your moves are copies of theirs... Even now you're relying on your exhausted Niece to support you. But those highschoolers can't protect you. You'll die today." All for one said. Standing over all Might.
Kira warped herself just before she hit the ground landing on a cloth awning to break her fall. Altering her trajectory just barely.
"YOUR LIGHT IS GONE!!!"
"You don't get it at all!!!" All Might yelled back. He couldn't see Kira. Kira couldn't see him. "Even if my light goes out... Someone else will take it!!! And keep on shining!!!"
Her uncle blasted off the ground. Readying another attack. Named after yet another one of Kira's classmates. He aimed at him and positioned his chest to line up with All for one perfectly.
"CAN'T STOP TWINKLING!!!!"
He yelled. Blasted All for one with a high-powered Lazer from above. Burning him into the concrete.
The Lazer started to tear apart the buildings around it. He added more and more power to his attack. All while Kira laid on the ground.
"Get up..."
She told herself. But she couldn't move.
"Useless..."
"EARPHONE JACK!!! SOUND WAVE!!!" Her uncle yelled. Fighting on his own. Kira laid in the street, she had broken her fall. But everything still hurt. The effects of bloodrush exhausted her. She was numb to the sound of the battle around her.
"ARMOR MORPHING!!! CREATI!!!"
he yelled. Kira was numb to it.
"Do something... Moron..."
"BINDING SPHERES!!! GRAPE JUICE!!!"
"Grape juice? Who's that? Oh... it must be that one kid... The guy Todoroki killed." Her thoughts were sluggish. She felt the same way she did when she passed out earlier. In Bakugou's limp arms.
She didn't realize her wounds were opened up again. The one on her side that Jeanest had sewed tightly shut.
"Funny... If feel like I'm in middle school again... Why is that?" She thought. It was raining. A few drops hitting her face and nose. But why was it red?
"Must be because... He's thinking about everyone... But me. It's dumb but... Hearing all of these ultimate moves... Why is it that I so badly wish... For him to yell out 'Athena' passionately?"
"Finally... There it is..." A voice said. Someone was close to Kira. Very close. She could feel his breath on her face.
She opened her eyes, she hadn't realized she had closed them. Crouched over her with eyes the color of blood... Was the hero killer in the flesh.
"Aw fuck... Now's really not the time to kill me off buddy." Kira said with a frown. She wasn't thinking straight. His thoughts were fuzzy in her head... Like a muffled voice. She was too exhausted to know his intentions.
"It's you." He said. "I thought you were a police swine."
"...Oh yeah.. ha... I shot you didn't I?" Kira asked. He was still weirdly close to her face. "No... I'm a... hero."
"Then get off the ground. Fight." He put a blade against her neck. "Or do you only step in when you have a gun?"
"You don't know shit about me..." Kira mumbled. "You piss me off you know... Preaching about people's intentions when you're only able to observe them from the outside... You'll never understand... What goes on in people's heads." She was talking slowly, her speech slurred slightly.
"I understand a lot about people. I know you're type, you're no hero. You only act when you have an ace up your sleeve. Or when. You're forced. You don't act on your own, charging forward even without a plan. You think too much." He grumbled.
"We've met twice..." Kira whispered. "You can't possibly know that for certain."
"I can smell it in your blood... You're a coward."
"Then kill me." She looked up at him. Her eyes haunting. Eerily black.
"...You're his kin. I wouldn't dare lay a hand on someone related to perfection." He said back. Thinking of all might.
"Do you have a crush on my uncle or something?" Kira asked with a chuckle.
"I don't even know what that means." The man responded. She felt his hand touch her cheek. "But I'm going to help him. Because you're giving up."
He collected the raindrop that landed on her cheek... Wait no... It's not raining...
"I've scoured the battlefield. I can pick up the difference when I smell it... This isn't her's or All Might's... It must be HIS. The enemy's..."
"The demon Lord's blood."
