116: 𝑀𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑓𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟
Who knows where Endeavor was right now.
He was off fighting Dabi somewhere. God knows they needed him. Almost all of their reinforcements were swamped by what was possibly a million twice duplicates. Created by Toga.
Tokoyomi's ultimate move had pushed them farther away from most of the other pros. They almost got him with Machia and Mt lady. But he was too powerful, they were all shattered now. It was only Hawks... Tokoyomi and...
All for one.
He held Hawks by the neck, absorbing his quirk. Fierce wings. Slowly but surely the small feathers left on Hawk's back were transferred to All for one's own.
All for one had the appearance of a thirty year old man. And he was rapidly getting younger. Closer to his prime, then after that he'll continue to age backwards.
He dropped Hawks to the ground. The man was now completely... Quirkless. Fierce wings had a new user.
The incarnation of evil.
With them out of his way he had to get to Tomura. Finish planting his consciousness into him. He started to turn, looking over at Tokoyomi. The student had a quirk stronger than Hawk's... He wanted to take it, his hands itching for the quirk but he held back... Having a quirk fully sentient would be risky, he couldn't guarantee full control over it like he could with the others.
As he considered taking the quirk though, he felt a familiar hun nearby. Black and purple swirled in a small circle beside him. He smiled.
"Ah Kurigiri, my disciple. Just in time, take me to Tomura." All for one said to the growing portal.
"...no..." Hawks whispered, trying to get up. "I won't..." He coughed and fell back down.
"Oh Keigo, your time as a hero is over. Don't attempt to save the world when you can't even stand. It's pathetic." All for one chuckled. "Now Kurigiri-"
Bang.
Bang!
BANG!!
BANG!!!!
Four rapid fire shots went off as a hand holding a gun came through the portal. Firing right in his face and chest multiple times without hesitation.
He flew back, blood going everywhere was he was shot at pointblank range.
Out of the portal came a hand clinching a handgun pointed right at All for one. Then falling after the gun was the teenage girl wielding it.
For the first time in awhile All for one was completely caught off guard. Since kira had been across Japan before she crossed through the portal All for one had no way of seeing her coming. Kurigiri's quirk had caused him to drop his guard just enough to get shot four times in rapid succession.
Kira landed in a crouch, shooting twice more. She was now completely out of ammo. She had "borrowed" a new gun after she took Kurigiri's quirk and headed to where she knew Hawks was.
"Damn it." Kira whispered. Glancing at the pro but keeping her eyes on All for one, who had gold energy glowing around his face.
If only she had gotten here faster, maybe she could have saved his quirk. It didn't matter, there was no way she took him out with just a few shots. But he was damaged by them, which was a damn good sign.
"What a surprise Kokoa!" All for one said with a laugh. His voice was different now, no longer muffled by his mask. He looked more human. Young...
Familiar.
He slowly looked back at her. He aged down rapidly due to the damage she caused. Causing him to now look like a young man, late teens or early twenties.
In Kira's dream she had seen him as a middle aged man. He was familiar but she couldn't place how... Now that he was younger she could see... It was striking, like a slap in the face.
"I have to admit, I thought you'd die in that battle. That we wouldn't see each other again. What a pleasant surprise." He was hovering over the ground, golden energy around his body. It looked like Eri's quirk.
But that's not what caught Kira's attention.
She stared at him, unable to control her own surprise for a few moments. Holding the gun tightly as he smiled.
"You look shocked Kokoa." All for one said, staring at her from his young eyes. "I guess there are some things that can surprise you after all!" He grinned, a hint of laughter behind his voice.
Kira hid her expression, Steeling herself and getting in a fighting position. "Shut up." She said with clinched teeth. 'Don't freeze up now Kira. It's not him.' She told herself.
"You know until now I almost forgot.... " He looked down at his reflection in a puddle to his left. "How much he looked like me."
He looked at Kira again and smiled. The smile looked so familiar. Uncanny. His words peiced together in her head and she almost threw up.
"Tell me..." He stepped closer to Kira. White hair blowing slightly in the breeze.
Kira flinched and held the empty gun like a club, a cloud of smoke started to cover her from the waist down. Kurigiri's quirk.
"What was it like watching my son die?"
Kira grit her teeth, throwing the gun at his face. Though he simply dodged it with a grin. It was a pathetic attack, she knew that. But it was all she thought to do in the moment.
"Don't tell me you didn't have a clue. You're supposed to be one of the smartest people in the world, here you are a gaping fool." He laughed, stretching out his hand. "I'll take your quirk now. It'll be useful. Don't worry I can bare it just fine, I have quirks that help me master these things quickly."
"Like hell you will!" Kira snapped out of it, releasing Kurigiri's mist to hide her form from him. Making it impossible to touch her physically body. "I'm taking you with me." She said, stretching out the portals. Thank God she had helped Monoma practice using his quirk before the battle. She knew somewhat how to use it. She found it worked best when she envisioned somewhere she's been very often, or someone she cared about and knew well.
"Oh?" All for one asked as the dark mist started to consume him. "How exactly are you doing this anyways? It's almost like you have a cute copy of my quirk."
He hovered over the mist, but the portals were popping up rapidly.
"You never answered my question. How did he die again? Touya mentioned it but I don't really remember, it was an insignificant detail... Just like him." All for one mused, hoping to manipulate her into messing up.
"His mother was... Slightly more useful. But overall a bore. Once I gave her the one thing she wanted she would do anything for me. I didn't even have to manipulate any quirks either, it was all natural." He monologued.
"Ew!" Kira scoffed, completely covered in the black mist. Her eyes were glowing red instead of Kurigiri's usual yellow. "Shut up!"
"Hm... Where exactly do you plan on taking me? I mean it's not like you have the power to beat me on your own, you must have a plan. I won't be as easy to kill as she was. But I guess you already learned that."
Kira almost choked. Of course he knew that. All for one knew everything. But it still sent another shock through her system.
"My son and his mother were cannon fodder. Puppets. Oshita was such a weak woman. It's truly sad how long it took your to overcome her." He said with a pitying look.
He was slowly being consumed by the mist, taken to a second location. A tear streamed down Kira's cheek as she followed after him.
"Don't think I'll be nearly as easy."
