102: 𝐴 𝑓𝑎𝑚𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑎𝑟 𝑓𝑎𝑐𝑒
Bakugou was there.
Dying. Kira could see him. Though she hadn't been there during that battle she could see him. Laying down on the ground, someone was there with him. Iida maybe, all Kira could look at was the blood trailing from his chest. Ripped through his hero costume.
Kira could vividly see the battle that took place the day of her rescue.
Nomu everywhere. Pros on the ground. Endeavor and Best jeanest fighting Dabi while Shigaraki was taken on by Deku and Bakugou.
How could she see it all so clearly? She had only heat bits and pieces of what happened that day. How Bakugou got injured.
"The casualties were horrible."
There was someone behind here, but Kira could only look ahead. Only look at Katsuki. Seeing the scars earlier had been hard, it and hurt her. But seeing what happened was worse. The blood, the pain. He wasn't even moving, he looked dead.
She tried to tell herself he wasn't, this was the past. Bakugou was alright. He was sleeping right next to her, this was a nightmare and she knew it.
"I didn't realize your quirk was this strong... You can see clear pictures. Memories even, interesting."
"You're showing me this..." Kira whispered. She Wondered if he could hear her or not. "Why."
"All of this pain. All of this fighting. It WILL happen again."
The voice came from behind her. It wasn't in her head, it seemed to be spoken out loud. Into her ear.
"So much pain... So much death. It'll only be worse next time."
Kira grit her teeth, her surroundings changing. She was in the Villa, or the battle at the Villa. The building was falling apart, burning, dying.
Like the people inside.
A man in a costume, pressing a hankie against the cheek of his comrade. His friend. As he melted, a red feather sticking from his back.
"Twice."
It changed again. Deep in the woods, to the side of the Villa. A woman laid on the ground, covered in bruises. Her body bent in an odd angle.
"Midnight."
A man decaying with a smile on his face and a thumbs up.
"Crust."
Finally a woman not as familiar to Kira. Her body was dust, her skin flaking with grey decay as she gave one final salute. They couldn't bring any part of her body back to her family for burial. Her ashes were swept away by the sea.
"Star."
Everything was dark.
"Their deaths were meaningless. Your side lost. They even had the advantage of a surprise attack. But they lost, and you will again and again and again until everyone you love is dead Kira. Not to mention the villains. I know you're the type of person to see them just as you see any other human. You don't want to see them dead do you?"
Back to Bakugou. Blood covering the hero costume he was so proud of, splattering across his gauntlets. Every detail was real. This wasn't made up, Kira could see it. She could see the tiny sparkly sticker given to him by the little sister of his classmate. Still stuck on his gauntlets.
"You don't know that for sure." Kira whispered. "This is the past... This already happened and he survived. We can win."
"When will this fighting stop? What is it even for? Japan is crumbling. Next the world. I'm the true leader, the only one meant to hold this world in my hand. I've known since I was an infant...
This world will be MINE."
Kira felt it. A hand on her shoulder. It felt real, it was cold and heavy. He planted another one on her other shoulder, hovering over her.
"I can have it peacefully... Or I can take it by force. A force so strong I'll destroy everything in my wake. I'm offering you a chance to avoid it Kira Kokoa. Your friends don't have to die. You don't have to die. You're not stupid enough to believe your life will be perfect so I won't lie. But it will be better then being slaughtered won't it?"
She could feel his breath on her neck. Her hands shaking as he let go of her and started to stalk around. He was infront of her, she could see his helmet and the amount of wires and tubes connecting it to him. Then the helmet started to crack.
To crumble. Pieces falling away as Kira heard a rumbling from the earth itself. Shaking under her feel.
"All I want is One for all. One person, one power... For the entire world." He said, kira could begin to see skin in the cracks of his helmet.
An eye, white and soulless. Peering through the darkness at her. All for one spread his hands with a laugh that shook her to her core.
"That's all I ask for from you."
The ground cracked and fell apart just like the helmet. Soon Kira had nothing to stand on.
"It's that... Or death. Choose wisely. I can assure you, it won't be a painless one."
He spoke as the helmet fully fell from his head. Into the black abyss under the crumbling ground. He stared into Kira's soul with unfamiliar white eyes. But when Kira managed to look farther than that she saw his face...
His face... It wasn't a mass of flesh like it had been in the prison. Or when he was fighting her uncle. It wasn't just a collection of scar tissue with a smile...
It was a face.
A familiar one.
"Wake up Kira Kokoa...
You know what to do."

Kira woke up in a cold sweat, gasping for breath. She would have shot up and possibly fallen out of the bed, but she happened to be stuck.
Bakugou had his arms completely wrapped around her. Head buried into her neck as he breathed lightly. Too asleep to notice the fact that she just had the worst nightmare ever. His arms were warm and inviting as he snuggled against her. Holding her against his bare chest tightly.
Kira stared ahead, glancing at the clock that said it was almost five. She knew it would be a good idea to climb back to her room before the sun came back up. Just so she could be seen leaving her own room and not Bakugou's.
But she just didn't want to get up. She didn't want this day to start. She didn't want to leave the UA dorms again.
She wanted to stay here. With him.
Tears rolled down her cheeks but she didn't make any move to wake Bakugou. She just wanted things to be as they were. She wanted to be normal again.
Bakugou mumbled in his sleep. Holding her tighter and pressing a soft kiss onto her shoulder. A spot he seemed very fond of showing affection too. Even while he was still mostly asleep.
Kira sighed rubbing her eyes and, turning around as best she could in his arms before slowly loosening them. "I have to get up." She whispered to him. She could feel the activity of his brain switch. He was awake now, but didn't want to admit it yet.
Kira had been a little worried. That she'd unlock some crazy side effect of her quirk after being intimate with him. But right now she felt completely normal. She figured that might be because of the contraceptive they had used. The barrier might've also prevented her quirk from evolving again.
Bakugou held her tighter. Eyes still closed but fluttering with the effort to keep them shut.
"Katsuki..."
"No." He mumbled, frowning in his sleep. Keeping a fast hold around her.
"I have to get up." Kira said with a sigh.
"...no." he mumbled again. Eyes peeling open to glare at her.
Kira laughed. She slowly forgot all about her fear and dread for today. Only able to focus on his eyes.
"Please?" Kira asked with a fake pout.
He groaned and snuggles into her. Hugging her with his whole body like a pillow.
"No."
"We're gonna get caught."
"So what? What are they gonna do? Expell us? Fat chance." Bakugou scoffed. Kissing her neck. "Stay... Please?"
"Katsuki." Kira sighed, hugging him back. "Come on. It's morning time."
"Barely." Bakugou rolled his eyes. Looking at Kira as she laid next to him. Held tightly in his arms. "...I love you." He grumbled.
"I love you too." She kissed his cheek softly. "But I gotta go."
Bakugou groaned and let go. Flopping onto his backs and releasing his hold on her. "Fine." He pouted. "Are you okay? I hope she's happy... I'm definitely happy... Did I hurt you?"
"I'm fine Kitkat." Kira said with a small smile. Kissing his cheek. Though she did feel pretty sore, she was fairly certain that was normal though. Especially after her first time. "And I'm very happy. Don't worry."
"You fucking better be." He said with a small smirk.
"Oh shut up." Kira said with a smile. Sitting up. "I have to go."
Bakugou smirked again, looking at her as she sat up. "Like that?" He asked.
"I'm putting my clothes back on you dumbass." Kira rolled her eyes, throwing the blanket over his head. "Go back to bed."
He peeked out from the blanket. "I'd rather not..." He thought, watching her as she grabbed her clothes off the ground by the bed.
"Ha ha." Kira said sarcastically. "See you around Kitty."
"I TOLD YOU NEVER TO CALL ME THAT!!"
